The large bedroom, comfy bed and great service, the brand new scooter to rent
Maybe the staff could remake the bed. Apart from that, all good.

We can honestly say this resort has to be the most relaxed place we have ever been . We were instantly made to feel at home , there was nothing that was any trouble for Iwan and his staff. What beautiful people. A very environment green resort. Designed excellently with local and collected pieces of furniture. The very spacious bungalows were immaculate providing toiletries and even insect repellent. Gorgeous views of beach and pool set in well kept gardens. The restaurant served healthy but substantial food that would match any Michelin starred menu. The grounds were subtly lit on an evening that gave it the romantic, relaxed atmosphere. I booked a massage, the best massage I have ever had. Free kayaks and paddle boards provided as well as beach towels and even a beach bag to use. The rescued dogs and cats took our hearts. All living so happily and well looked after. Chika (dog) and gypsy(cat) are a special 2 little friends we miss so much. On my birthday Iwan and his beautiful wife Sophie had dinner with us and the staff got me a special cake. Even the staff that were having a day off came to sing happy birthday. This is the sort of friendly thing that makes Roka so special. Broke our hearts to leave because this resort treat you as family not as guests. We will be definitely going back as soon as we can. Missing Sophie's baby monkeys, so cute and entertaining. This lady has the kindest heart.
Leaving.

Very relaxing, quiet atmosphere - about an hour from the ferry terminal. Sea is calm and shallow out to the nearby island, which we had fun kayaking around. Very friendly staff; nice pool; clean accommodation with comfortable bed. Surrounding is tastefully decorated with outdoor lanterns. Great food in the restaurant. There were very few guests during the week - more over the weekend.
It didn't really bother us but the resort is quite remote with no shops or other amenities close by.

Good vibes for relaxation! Big clean room, spacious toilet, comfortable bed, fresh meals at the restaurant and beautiful view of the mangrove! Laid-back vibes and the resident cats and dogs are friendly. Excellent to do star-gazing! Great for couples for we-time!
Would be great if there’s croissants and cappuccino in the menu.

Clean and nice room, very friendly and helpful staff.
No facilities in the resort itself, it can be bore for longer stay. Nothing near the resort as well. It will be good that resort provide free transportation for dinner venue or other places.

loved their restaurant view, and that there was a boardwalk that lets us have a gorgeous sunset view. that was really special and we loved lying on the suspended rope-bed soaking it all in
It’s not their fault, but the monsoon season resulted in the beach and the water being really brown and filled with debris.
there also wasn’t much lounging space on the private beach itself.

Loved the little details, I sense on the balcony in the evening, down to the intricate woodwork above the bed and beautiful plants and trees everywhere
Some building work going on on site which was quite noisy but as soon as we mentioned it stopped immediately. Great service with a smile.

Beautiful design and attention to details
Comfortable and clean
Pool
Peaceful and isolated —magical
Attentive staff & charming owners
Fantastic kitchen and bar—open 7-10 all day
Sound of the ocean
Feeling connected to the tide as it came in & went out
The beach is not long enough for walking & not good for ocean swimming. There are nearby beaches that are suitable for each & it was easy to arrange for a driver. There are paddle boards and kayaks, but it was a bit too windy during my stay to try them.
Boat rides to open water for swimming might be fun (not sure whether they could be arranged).
No available crafts and souvenirs, either at hotel or nearby.

Staff delightful
Food exceptional

Very helpful n friendly staff. Sensitive to guests' needs. The spread at the sole restaurant may not be wide but the food was sumptuous.
The sliding doors to each room could have been tinted so that passerbys would not be able to look in. To provide for more privacy.

Exceptional breakfast, top quality and always freshly served with a smile. Tranquility and outstanding hosts. Sophie and Iwan built an amazing oasis, especially if you are looking for a quiet get away from Singapore.

The resort is really a small pearl! You can relax with nature around you. Rooms are really nice and very big with wonderful forniture and art pieces. The food is also gourmand (home made bread Is fantastic). Special thanks to Iwan for the warm welcome and constant assistance for any help. Go ahed guys, this Is the right way.
Some mosquitos, but wehave the jungle around!
