Good location & restaurant was very nice.
Room was too small for our liking.

El maravilloso desayuno, el mejor de 10 días en Irlanda. Abundante fruta fresca y variado.
Personal amable y fácil check in y salida con códigos. Pub con buena música.
A unos 15 minutos de las murallas y fácil aparcamiento en la calle.
Habitación justita y aunque bonita bastante deterioro en las instalaciones y suelo.

Lovely cooked breakfast with a choice of continental items and cooked breakfast. Property seemed like it had been refurbished quite recently and room was nice and clean.
Everything was great. Staff at breakfast could explain there are also cooked options as people arrive to avoid confusion.

The location is ideal, walking distance from the city but in a quiet area. The room was spotless and super comfy. The view from the bar is breathtaking!
The shower door was broken in our room and the TV didn’t work. This wasn’t an issue for us as we wanted an early night.

The room is large with lots of space compared to normal hotel rooms. The bathroom as well is a good size. Everything was clean. It has water, tea, and small snacks in the room. Breakfast has a good variety. city centre is a short walk.

It is located very centrally
I booked a room with bathroom and the bathroom was 2 floors down. That was not mentioned in the description. I felt tricked into believing I had an en suite bathroom and then I had to use one too floors
downstairs. Bathroom was dirty with lots of broken stuff (e.g. toilet seat, shower head bracket, tiny mirror, etc.).
The room was extremely dirty. Dust everywhere, cobwebs everywhere, spiders everywhere. Stains on the sheets. Sheets were too small for the mattress and came off all the time. Had to put the blanket over the mattress in the end to not sleep on the mattress without any cover, therefore I didn’t have a blanket to cover myself with. The staff was very unfriendly and not helpful at all.

Breakfast was exceptional. Great choice of cereal overnight oats youghurt fruit croissants danish pastries donuts and continental breakfast as well. A cooked breakfast could be had for an additional €4 but we found we didn't need it. Nice quiet location within walking distance of city centre.
The weather

The continental breakfast offered a good variety of breads, yogurts, fresh fruit, oatmeal, and orange juice. Hot drinks choices too. Delicious wheaten bread and fruit scone! Sliced cheeses and meats were also available.
The shower in room E/24, temp control knob is a bit difficult to adjust, but I do have slighly arthritic hands.

Parking just in front of the place!
Bathroom was tiny. Space was quite small.
I didn't like that, despite it was contracted that we would pay at the property, they charged us in advance, before arriving.

Cook breakfast should be included in the prize

Beds were comfortable and location good.
Breakfast was finished too early, 9.30am on a weekend is a joke. The staff were not accommodating and unhelpful. Staff were clearing place at 9.20am and we were made to feel we were an inconvenience

Generally everything was very good
I didn't realise that my room was not en suite and that I had to go down a flight of stairs to access my bathroom

Location was good, pretty view from the back patio of the restaurant.
The bathroom was extremely hot, it was separated from our room which we knew upon booking. However, the shower was small and terrible because there was no edge or enclosure/curtain to catch the water. It was just opened and exposed, causing water to basically pour out all over the floor. This is asking for trouble with water damage and mold if there isn’t already.
The last thing I’ll say is that I had a very unpleasant encounter with one of the staff in the restaurant. She was rude in telling me I couldn’t eat outside food in their open patio area. I was meeting my friends in the back area and we were all paying customers of the hotel. She told me I would have to eat it in my room. They provide no common area for their guests. She made the assumption that I even planned on eating my food there and was extremely cold so n her demeanor. I didn’t appreciate being treated this way. I will add that other staff members seemed friendly and attentive so I’m not speaking to the business as a whole.

The views across Derry are excellent. The breakfast was very good and the people serving it were attentive and accommodating. The room was quiet.
The mattress was very bouncy and a bit worn out. The wifi was spotty. The television didn't work. The shower taps were tricky to operate when wet. The hotel is up a rather steep hill making it somewhat difficult to access if you are primarily on foot.

I have travelled extensively with students over the years throughout Europe and I found the accommodation in 'Serendipity' in Derry to be better than most of the hotels that I have stayed in.
The food for breakfast was exceptional, in particular the bacon was the most 'tasty' that I have eaten recently.
The room was decorated to a very high standard, with soothing grey walls and great attention paid to the overall design and use of space.
The bathroom made excellent use of modern materials and was spotlessly clean.
I can think of nothing to say here as my stay surpassed my expectations.

Overall enjoyed the stay.
Staff were lovely.
Breakfast time could be extended.
Drinks were very expensive.
