Amazing stay and would definitely come back.

the pool area was beautiful, the villas were like a little home with everything we needed. The wildlife on the property was so good to see and we could easily walk to the beach and cafes.

We felt really disappointed about this hotel it did not meet our expectations: 1- the location is not the best far from the downtown and closest supermarket is 500m 2- standard room is far from entrance we could not even park close and walking up and down the hill many times per day not very pleasant 3- the cleaning was ok but bad smell coming from the toilet they tried to fix it but not enough also our toilet windows was next to the laundry so people were talking and noisy all the time 4- the pool was not clean we didn’t even use it 6- in general it needs some renovations only one way to go to second floor so people had to walk through our room 5- the stuff got in my room when I was waking a shower and in general not the best in response with reception.

Fmaily friendly hotel with great location

the property had big rooms, adequate kitchen, and great location (beach access across the street and a 2 minute walk down to the water). There was also plenty of restaurants we could walk to as well as a small grocery store. The pool was great for our family. the staff were very friendly and helpful. we could hear music from nearby bars late into the evening but it didn’t disturb us. would recommend for families!

Great location in Santa Teresa. Good for beach and restaurants. The villas are perfect; well equipped, clean, refreshing, quiet pool area.

Super location with friendly personal

Super position, very nice bungallow, monkey inside the residence jumping under our head. Super videos and photos. Restaurant very close from residence.

Swimming pool was in the evning not 100% clean

Pleasant

The town has issues with electricity, hence the power can be down for several hours. The water in the hotel is based on electricity which make it a little challenging taking a shower.

Super recommended option for Santa Teresa

It was the best hotel out of all I stayed in Santa Ana! It looks much better in real life than in photos. Major plus is the rooms are far away from the road, so you hear the ocean instead of car engines. Beautiful area, pool, animals in the trees. Super nice staff, helpful, accommodating and friendly. The room is decorated in warm, pleasant colours, very comfy and nice. It was as expensive as any place in Santa Teresa, but in this case the price felt (somewhat) justified.

Esencia is great for families! Big pool, amazing location, can see monkeys from your porch. This is an older property in ST and the price reflects that. For people who want a comfortable, convenient place close to the beach this is great. Not a lot of bells and whistles but not necessary!

Quiet oasis amongst the craziness of Santa Teresa

an oasis amongst the noise and dust of Santa Teresa. The villa was spacious, clean and in a good location - it also had parking which was very handy.

value for money; pretty expensive (but I think that’s just the area) and no breakfast for a pretty high cost.

Nice place, friendly staff and good views. Great location 5 minutes walk to the beach and restaurants/supermarket around.

They had an issue with the booking system and I got a room instead of a villa. I was very upset at first but the room exceeded my expectations and I even found it more comfortable than the villa/house.

Really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The bungulows were perfect along with the swimming pool.

Just across from the beach really handy. So many good restaurants nearby.

While so handy for the beach. I found the hotel to be in a very lively part of town.

Will revisit 100x over for amazing villa in beautiful Costa Rica.

I like the location to the Beach and how amazing the staff and reception were at Essencia.

Not a big deal, but knowing what time the cleaners come to the Villa, so we can make sure we aren't eating at that time.

Friendly staff and comfortable room.

Receptionist was very friendly. The beds were comfortable. It was walking distance to good restaurants. The beach access isn't too far away.

We weren't able to get the old room safe to work. The a/c worked off of a key. Our particular room backed onto staff area. We could hear staff talking from our bathroom. It was a bit of a challenge moving luggage to our room with gravel and steps. Santa Teresa needs sidewalks. It's pretty amazing that so much tourism money can come into a town and it still lacks basic infrastructure. Where's all the money going?

the room was comfortable and clean! Although it had the perfect location, right in the center of santa teresa but also 2 minutes walk from the beach, it was very quiet! The staff and the cleaning service are very helpful
