Excapcional

Muy bien ubicado, al lado del los botes y los buses a solola. Super limpieza y los chicos de la recepción siempre dispuestos a ayudar. Agua caliente y Wi-Fi en todo el hostel. las zonas comunes muy agradables. Los ofertas de shuttle más baratas que en cualquier otro sitio. Recomendable 100%

Cuando llegas parece un sitio angosto pero nada más subes a la zona de las habitaciones todo es diferente

Nice hostel in a central position with lovely staff

The central position and the female receptionist was very kind and helped me with buying a tour and contacting my next hostel

The fact that they say breakfast is included but they mean pancakes (which were great) and NO COFFEE or TEA. Come on, why boasting a breakfast included and then you don’t even give a coffee?

Good for one night

Hostel has a good location, close to shuttles and boats, they also help you with any transportation and you can leave the backpack. They have hammocks in the common room with a shared kitchen so it's great to chill. Other than that all basic things are there, including water bottle refill.

I loved my stay here

Friendly staff, nice breakfast, and had some privacy with the curtains from the bed. There was also hot water

There wasn’t the basic stuff to cook like olive oil or salt and pepper. The bed sheets were too small for the bed and I practically slept on the mattress. But they changed It immediately when I mentioned it.

Bien situé et bon prix

Hostal très bien situé, près du lac et sur la principale rue touristique de Panajachel! La chambre se trouve dans une sorte d’appartement avec 2 chambres qui se partagent une cuisine et une salle de bain. Le petit déjeuner (2 pancakes, des fruits et café) est servi directement dans la salle à manger du petit appartement.

La fenêtre de notre chambre donnait sur une autre salle de bain partagée par d’autres clients, donc on a été réveillés par le bruit qu’ils faisaient, mais nous avons quand même passé une bonne nuit

Panajachel chico. Hostales cerca. Pésimo recepcionista Te cobran 10% si pagas con tarjeta de crédito

Ubicación

El pésimo trato y actitud dolosa y contumaz por parte del recepcionista Rocael quién: 1.- A mi llegada temprano a las 12:30 horas, aproximadamente (empero previa solicitud mía, en Booking, de mi llegada y check in antes de las 15 hs) se negó a hacer el check in, indicándome lo haría hasta las 15:00hs, riéndose con ironía expresando que no contaba con el registro de mí solicitud. 2.- Dejé la maleta encargada a él, según me lo indicó la subiera yo, por las escaleras, a la terraza contigua al dormitorio compartido mixto, en el segundo piso y procedí a solicitarle el bloqueo respectivo de la cama asignada , para mí plan extenderme una o más noches de estadía; asintió en así hacerlo. Y procedí a salir a comer 3.- Al llegar mucho después de las 15:00 hs para el check in, me comentó de los tour y costo de transporte a través del hostal, a lo cual le dije que no era de mi interés dado que era muy caro con relación al servicio de trasporte público. 4.- Al dirigirme a las escaleras para pasar al baño; levantando la voz dijo que si le iba a pagar o no, a lo cual le dije que sí y SAQUÉ MI TARJETA DE CREDITO PARA PAGAR, Y DIJO QUE ME COBRARÍA UN 10% ADICIONAL AL MONTO DE 66 QUETZALES (del monto e impuestos contestados a través de Booking). Para lo cual le dije que estoy enterado de que ello es una práctica ilegal, previa consulta que celebre en días pasados. SE MOLESTO DIJO QUE YA NO TENDRÍA LUGAR PARA EXTENDER MI RESERVACIÓN A MAS DÍAS; MINTIENDO QUE LLEGARÍA UN GRUPO A TODA LA HABITACIÓN. 5.- Revise la plataforma de Booking, para corroborar si era cierto que ya no había espacio; orrcsrandome que si existía disponibilidad. Por lo que scyo seguido, procedí inmediatamrntr a reservar otra noche. 6.- Se percató que llegó el aviso de mi segunda reservación y con tono altisonante y prepotente dijo que promovería la cancelación. 7.

Hostel proche du lac et personnel agréable. Petit déjeuner excellent compris dans le prix.

Cuisine pas très bien équipée, dortoir mal isolé pour la lumière et le bruit. Mauvaise connexion wifi. Douche dans la cuisine.

Je recommande vivement meilleur rapport qualité prix !

Le très bon accueil, la propreté des lieux et la mise à disposition de hamacs.

Le seul soucis est par rapport à la douche, le jet était irrégulier mais sinon rien à dire.

Would stay a short period of time.

Good value for money, we had two bed and one was very comfortable. Room was clean, good free breakfast! Great location and good space to hangout. Good hot shower and bathroom overall

The room had no where to put any clothing and no bedside tables or lamps. The shared bathroom was abit inconvient as the room next to us we were sharing with invited there friends to hangout alot so we had two extra people using the space which was annoying in the morning and evening.

Buen sitio

El personal es muy amable. Nos prepararon el desayuno aunque salimos temprano por la madrugada. Buena ubicacion y calidad-precio. Están constantemente mejorando el sitio (estaban pintando paredes cuando estabamos alli).

Deberían mejorar la limpieza, las toallas olían mal después del primer uso. También deberían limpiar mejor el baño y la cocina (los vasos olian mal y el azucar estaba lleno de hormigas).

Great Price and Excellent Location

The location is perfect, it's on Calle Santander near everything you need: restaurants, stores and boats. I met awesome people in this hostel! The breakfast simple but helps on the budget.

The beds could be better and the proximity to the street means that it gets impossible to sleep after 6am but I found it to be the case all around Guatemala, so not really a specific problem of this hostel.

The common area is very nice.

The location is close to the main road so it's super noisy at night, especially since there is a huge gap between the roof and the walls. On the top bunk it feels like you're sleeping outside. The beds were uncomfortable too so it's not easy to get a good night's sleep there. The dorm had 18 beds in total so don't get fooled by the 9 bunkbed description haha.

The hostel was clean, had hot showers, was in a great location on the main street very close to the lake, and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast of pancakes and fruits was great and unlimited water and coffee! Chill out area had hammocks too

Friendly staff. Clean and comfortable. Amazing for the money. Continual area and roof terrace. Can do laundry too at an excellent price

WiFi wasn't that great. Fine for messaging etc, but not strong enough to work. Only negative, as everything else was amazing for the price

Exceptional

Centrally located, close to the ferry to the other towns. Good breakfast. Hot water. Small but usable and clean kitchen. The dorm is one big space with a lot of beds but the guests were responsible and respectful of each other. I’d recommend it for a transit.

super kind hosts, we could park the car on their own space nearby ((50 Gtq per night). breakfast was nice, location of the hostal was perfect.
