Zeer vriendelijke dame bij de receptie. Echt een visitekaartje! Aardig, behulpzaam.
Niets. Alles was precies zoals in beschrijving.

Very clean, lovely pool and friendly and helpful staff.
So close to the beaches too.
Nothing! It was what we needed and very clean.

Great location next to fabulous beaches and with tavernas in walking distance. Bus stop to Chania opposite the hotel so easy and cheap to visit the town ( pay on the bus or in a ticket kiosk- cheaper in kiosk!) The hotel has a lovely setting with gardens and pool. It was quiet when we visited so at times had the pool to ourselves. The room ( one bed apartment) was spacious and had a well equipped kitchen, plus balcony to sit out.
The rooftop bar/ restaurant wasn’t open during our stay- the season had just started so perhaps that was why.
3.0
The location was convenient, 5 minute walk to the 21 bus which takes you into Chania for €2. A few minutes walk away was Mosso Well Being Hotel who allow use of their pool and sunbeds for €6 per day. The nearby beaches were nice once you walked far enough round the bay to the quieter parts.
Almost everything. Upgraded our stay to a superior suite and when we arrived we were shown to room 306. We had asked for early checkin so possibly that’s why we got this room, but it was the most dated room, did not match any of the photos online, had a terrible wet dog smell and opened directly onto the pool, so no privacy and no possibility of sitting outside or even having your curtains open. We spoke to staff about how we felt this did not match the advertised rooms, but were told the room was the same and the photos were just a matter of lighting! They begrudgingly moved us to room 303 which (despite staff telling us would be exactly the same and making us feel like we were being difficult) was an entirely different apartment with balcony, more modern furnishing, clean and airy. There was still a bad smell from the aircon and the toilet flush and shower door were broken, but we were happy to keep this room. We did not use the pool at all as it was small with about 6 sunloungers, and only open 10-6 so instead we walked down the road to other hotel pools. We also didn’t eat here so can’t comment, but buffet breakfast was €12 each - instead we walked 10 minutes to Kalimaki Mare Cafe where we got a stunning breakfast with coffees for €8-10 each. Depending what you want from a holiday this could suit you but as a young couple who prefer a quieter vibe, it felt like a budget benidorm type of accommodation and the nearest beaches were absolute ram packed due to the free parking nearby. Finally, we were charged €60 to extend our checkout from 11-3pm which felt like a completely arbitrary made up figure as we spoke to 3 different people on the desk who all told us something different. The room worked fine as a base that we could use to shower and sleep, but we would not return and were glad to leave.

Top location, small and quiet hotel, clean room and pool area. Most importantly- comfortable bed (we had mattress topper on top of regular hard mattress and it made sleep quality so much better than in other hotels in this area).
Wi-Fi connection was not working inside the room. But it was working in the balcony and hotel's public places.

Has an upmarket feel as soon as you come through the gates. It is family run, but has the effiency of a 4 star hotel. The buildings look modern and very well maintained as do the sumptious gardens. The staff (and there are plenty of them) were to a person so professional and efficient as well as being friendly. The communications in the room (a useful info pack) and between booking and arrival were excellent. The room was spacious and included a dining table inside as well as one on the terrace plus tons of seating - you could seat 7 people inside alone. Literaly a few minutes walk from the beach resturants and bus, but quiet. The room had the feel of a late 20th century greek/spanish/moroccan villa with chunky dark wood furniture and stone floor. Clean and looked freshly painted. Pupose built magnifying shaving/make-up mirror in the bathroom.
The decor inside may not be to everyone's taste. The kitchenette (apart from the fridge) was not suitable for anyone planning to self cater (we were not). Small with a 2 ring hob that takes ages to heat anything (even water for tea), no toaster, microwave or kettle (no room for them) and limited cooking utensils. The bathroom is a trip back in time and although clean and functional really does need updating to this century. Despite all of this, still an excellent place and really good value.

leave the windows permanent closed, because there are too many mosquitos in the area.

Very good location with respect to Agioi Apostoloi beaches. Very pleasant design of the hotel's territory: plants, palm trees, swimming pool, white statutes, -- all of that leaving a lot of space to breathe and relax. The relationship of staff to guests was very kind, nonsuperficially friendly, and helpful (we noticed few examples of such situations, not only with respect to us, but also towards other guests). It is a very good place to rest (the best among three hotels at which we have stayed in the same area and at the same price range), and we definitely can recommend it.
No negatives.

location and staff, especially the lady at the breakfast room in the morning ! she is excellent and loves her job.
brusque attitude by just one lady who was not happy to see us buy a bottle of water at 10am in the morning - not referring to the life guard as she was always nice

It is very pretty and clean the inside area, the pool and garden of the hotel. The staff is very kind and humble, helpful people from the reception, to the cleaning ladies, the lifeguard girl and the lady from the breakfast (thanks for your recipe) who made amazing pies.
The pool water is clean. It is a great thing for families that pool closes at 6pm so no parties are allowed, you can chill and rest on the balcony and enjoy the summer nights. This is an extra pro from my point of view, if you prefer relaxing vacations, this is the right place for you.
Breakfast is delicious and classical stuff is combined with greek specialties.
Another great thing is that the nearest beach is really 150m from the hotel, same the bus station that takes you to Chania.
I would totally come back here with all my family one day. Loved to stay at Flamingos. Keep up the great work!
It is not something related to the hotel but if you expect good wifi or mobile internet, I think the whole area would need an upgrade.

I really liked hotel staff and comfort provided in the room. The location is amazing- close to a lot of sandy beaches, tavernas and Chania Center. The decor of the hotel is really nice and atmospheric.
No wi-fi connection in the room (and poor connection even on the balcony)- I recommend to provide good wi-fi connection in every hotel room, as it's now a standard in hotels, especially on a three-star ones. Breakfast was okay- there were a lot of food, but every day almost everything was the same and some of the dishes were not edible and low quality (but the lady serving breakfast was so nice to guests!). To sum up- everything was perfect, apart from wi-fi connection in room and not the best breakfast.

Great location right by 3 beaches. Superb variety at breakfast. Room was lovely size, large balcony, spotlessly clean and always hot water available.

Very nice family run hotel with friendly staff. Our room was nice and modern with a kitchenette and garden view balcony. The location is great, just a block away from the beach.

Great staff, location. Decent breakfast and cleaning.
First off: these are minor issues; we would book the same place again in a heartbeat.
- Pool opening times were a bit limited where the pool was unsupervised during the time of day when we usually tended to want to bathe there (end of day when there was shade around 6-ish). Staff was flexible though, and allowed us to bathe regardless despite closed bar and fence.
- The lovely looking rooftop bar looked enticing (and was something that we had looked forward to as it would allow for some flexibility after the kid's bedtime due to the proximity to our room) but it was closed for the duration of our stay.
- This is a culture thing as Cretans literally love kids (bless them), but the breakfast staff wanted to be very hands-on with our baby from a Northern European perspective as we ourselves are culturally used to a lot of personal space, and we were felt the need to set boundaries relatively early on during our stay so that our kid could have his breakfast without becoming distracted/stressed. In a way though, I guess culture clash is a good sign that you're really on holiday...

Excellent breakfast, excellent conditions, very clean, near the beach and to the bus stop that takes you to Chania city center. For tours you can ask at the reception and the bus picks you up and brings you back at 50m from the hotel. Air conditioning, 2 small balconies were you can leave your wet clothes to dry until the next day, small kitchen, almost anything you need.

What can I say. We absolutely loved our stay here. Room was big, two balconies, air con, basic but exactly what we needed. Konstantinos the manager was incredible, so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much bother, had lovely conversations with him (other managers great too). Cleaning staff were friendly and fabulous, breakfast staff were fab. Huge choice of food at breakfast ( hot & cold) Rooms were cleaned to a high standard and beds were comfortable.
I'd highly recommend a stay here, it's two mins from the beaches, close to shops/taverna's, we'll definitely return :)
Pool closed at 6pm

The hotel and grounds were beautiful, and the staff were very nice. I liked how clean it was, and it wasnt very noisy. Their breakfast bar wasnt great, but there's so many options for breakfast in the area it wasnt a big issue.
