Second year here. Definitely would stay again

This house is close to the lake, entertainment, and all the other great features on the south side of Lake George. A few good spots are the Around the World minigolf, the Lake Steamboat Company—we rode the Minne-Ha-Ha and learned about all the lake's history, and The Pink Roof (ice cream) as a finisher. Thomas and Denise were incredibly easy to get a hold of when we needed to. Unfortunately, a small leak occurred in one of the bedrooms during a heavy rainstorm, but they were quick to act. Their contractor came out and patched up the roof solid. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for an alternative from the usual Northeastern tourist hotspots and a break from the snobbery. Lake George is where it’s at.

This house was perfect and cozy. Sadly it rained a lot for our stay so didn't get to hang in the super cute porch and fire pit. It's centrally located and was easy to get to all the places we went. I only wish I knew the road was so close, we could hear the traffic the one after noon we could be outside. We live in a city so I was looking forward to hearing just birds, but wasn't terrible. Inside it was very quiet and clean. We would absolutely recommend this place to friends.

We had a great time staying at this property. They were extremely accommodating and respectful. Great location and walkable to town.

The location was great, easy 1 mile path to and from town. House was not clean, needs a deep cleaning including bedding. We supplied all our own linens, no frills, bring your own sponges, foil, etc. outside space was nice, but also needs some TLC.

For our first stay in lake George this was perfect, right on a bike path, no noisy neighbors, right off the main drag. You can practically walk or bike anywhere you’d like. The home is cozy and efficient, cleaning supplies were available, and the check in and out process was super easy. Great host, very accommodating and friendly, will definitely recommend

Great location. After a sharp turn, it is the first house. Loved walking the bike path to the water daily. Worth the gorgeous views of the water and mountains! Owners very responsive! The important parts of the house were clean from the people before us. I left it even cleaner, I hope, for the next occupants!

We stood here with 4 adults and 3 small children (all 3 or under) and the location could have been more perfect. It is a 15-20 minute watch to the beach and other the village. There’s adequate space and a good sized deck to hang out on. The owners were very easy to communicate with an answered any questions we had.

The house is in the perfect location! Close to the main strip, beach and a short drive into Queensbury. Also a short walk down the adjacent bike path to million dollar beach. My kids enjoyed the multiple fire pits and especially the vending machines! Great house and great hosts!

My family really enjoyed our stay at the Evans house! Plenty of space and amenities for everyone (2 adults, 1 teen & 2 grandparents). Loved the proximity to shops, restaurants & things to do, as well as the walking/bike trail to the beach. Beds were comfortable.
The drip coffeemaker is very small, so you may need to bring your own if you drink a lot of coffee like we do (there is also a Keurig).
Overall we would recommend this house for a nice Lake George vacation!

This was our yearly vacation. The girls are older now and they did a lot by themselves. They really enjoyed the fact the the outlets were nearby. Great time for us. Thank you

My experience here was a pleasant one. The host was communicative, the area was clean. There was a little issue with a couple of the outlets when we came in and the fact that the sofa bed was a bit weak on one side but other than that, everything we wanted was there. I would say perhaps give a little warning that the turn into the road adjacent to the house is very narrow and caught us off guard when we got there. I hope our hosts find the place exactly as they had left it to their liking!

We had a great stay. The location is ideal, and the home was bigger than we were expecting. It fit all of us comfortably. The outdoor space/deck area is very nice. The owners were very responsive and left us propane for the grill which was very nice. We would rent again!

The owners are easy to reach and reasonable. The cottage is lovely, even if old. There are modern entertainment options, and decent kitchen appliances.
The location is quite convenient too with immediate access to I-87, but turning into the Old Military Road is a challenge…
The minuses are:
1) not too much hot water - two people taking a shower at once (there are two bathrooms) will quickly drain what little the tank holds;
2) the owners expect renters to clean up after themselves, which few people have the time (or inclination) to do - especially, on the last day of their stay. So you enter the house cleaned up by someone else in a hurry, and you feel it…
Overall we liked it, and would consider renting it again.

My family of 4 enjoyed our stay at the Evans home. Very comfortable space with a great outdoor area. After staying for so many years at the various one-room "cabins" and rooms, it was nice to have some space, yet be so close to the lake and village. The large deck and fire pit (with lights strung) areas were a great bonus, we just wish the weather cooperated a bit more during our stay so we could have used more. The proximity to the bike path was also pretty cool, it's a short walk or bike ride (downhill) to the Million Dollar Beach area. Great property, would def stay again.

Great house plenty of room and good location we had to do some cleaning when we got there but overall it’s a great renal would definitely stay there again

We were looking for a 3 bed near the town center of lake george but also a woodsy atmosphere. This location provided both.
We really enjoyed the outdoor space which was very nice.
The owners also quickly responded when we had a question or two.
Sheets were not provided with the rental cost but for an extra fee they were able to accomodate us as we were flying in.

The house was a perfect fit for my family, unfortunately we were not able to enjoy the beautiful yard because of so much rain, however we did take advantage to the fabulous deck
The location was great, we used the bike path to walk into town

When we arrived, we cleaned the inside because of the musty smell and put air fresheners in every room. We also cleaned the grill, outside patio furniture and chairs by both firepits. The house was very comfy, but needs a real good cleaning (walls, ceiling) and needs to be updated. We spent most of our time outside on the big beautiful deck and made good use of the firepits. We especially loved how close we were to the Million Dollar Beach and the Village.. We would probably rent the house again next year because it was big enough for all 7 of us and the price was good. The owners replied quickly to any questions or problems we had.. Thank you for the wonderful time we had at your place in Lake George!

We were 4 golfers hitting the local courses over 4 days and this was a clean, comfortable and convenient house for us to sleep in and get around the area from. Thanks for a great stay!

location is perfect - close to everything, while in the middle of woods. We spent a lot of time on the porch - which is huge and absolutely amazing. House needs a bit of updating but overall worked perfect for our group of 10 people. Owner is super responsive and helpful. Thanks :)

We enjoyed the house and the kitchen was well stocked. It was spacious enough for all of us. Close to everything we needed (if it was different season would've been able to enjoy town more). Easy to get to. Nice they had a horseshoe set up. Convenient for walking the bike path to the lake.

Our weekend away at the Evan's was just perfect. There was enough space for my husband and myself, and three of our children, each of them enjoying his/her own bedroom. The proximity to town was certainly close enough and we had no parking issues. We enjoyed wine tasting, shopping, a bon fire, and fireworks. The ski mountain was only about 15-20 min away so we all enjoyed snow tubing. Great fun.. Great time away. Looking forward to seeing the town in warmer weather!

Our weekend at Denise and Tom's place was great! They were very responsive to any questions we had. The house was clean and very cozy. It was a very quick cab ride to town or a long walk for a nice day. For the price I don't think you can beat it. The only down side to the house was there was no wifi. If I am ever looking to visit Lake George again I would definitely consider staying here again
