Walk through the front gate and you enter a completely private and serene world with the San Jacinto Mountains soaring majestically to the west. You will understand immediately why Celebrity Hideaway (the Beverly Hills of Palm Springs!) remains today, as it was in the past, the neighborhood of celebrities such as: Elizabeth Taylor, Alan Ladd, Dinah Shore, Lily Tomlin, Gene Autry, and many more. Indeed, a short evening stroll will take you past the homes of all of these celebrities!
"La Casita de mis sueños" -.“little house of my dreams” is a great example of a warm welcome - burnished wood floors, Spanish fireplace, mahogany dining table, breakfast nook, and overstuffed furniture beckon. Yet, modern amenities abound: mid-century modern and well-appointed kitchen, double stainless steel sinks, marble bathroom pedestal in guest bathroom, glass-enclosed showers and large smart TV’s throughout the house and a heart-shaped swimming pool!
Our Starter Kit to you is designed to get you through your first day only, it may very well get you through 2 or 3 days as many of our guests will attest to, but our design is to get you through your first day before you may need to go to a grocery store.

Your kitchen is fully equipped with pots & pans etc., nearly every utensil you need to use to cook.
There is a starter kit in each respective bathroom & kitchen of the following supplies:

o Dishwashing liquid
o Dishwasher tablets
o Trash bags
o Laundry soap

Parking: All cars must be parked upon the interior circular driveway and within the garage of the property. Street parking is prohibited.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
60 days prior to scheduled arrival date, you will receive a refund of any advance payments minus a $300 cancellation fee and any processing fees ModMansions incurs.
Between 0 and 59 days prior to scheduled arrival, no refunds will be granted.
No refund will be given for early departures.
However and provided the guest cancels reservation on the original booking platform and ModMansions is able to re-rent this property for the same rate and same dates, then ModMansions has the option and MAY refund the same amount.

In order to keep our homes in beautiful condition, we have a few policies that ensure your next visit is just as wonderful as your first visit.
Age Requirement:
You must be 30+ years of age to reserve any home with ModMansions. Guest must provide a copy of a valid government issued photo id.
Rates:
Published rates are based on standard occupancy, do not include a combined 12.5% percent which includes a City of Palm Springs room tax and a TBID Tax Assessment.
Payment Schedule:
An Advance Deposit is due at the time of signing the contract with ModMansions. The balance is due 90 days prior to your arrival at the property. In complex long-term reservation, payment arrangements may be made by contacting us directly.
Utilities - (stays of 28+ days)
If staying in a home, with its own private pool, for 28 nights or more, the guest will be required to pay a utility deposit of $1,000.00 to $2,500.00 depending on the property. This deposit will be used to pay the actual monthly gas and electric bills and copies of the actual bills will be provided to the guest. Should the stay exceed 28 nights and utilities used exceed the utility deposit, the guest agrees to pay an additional deposit to cover the remaining stay. There is no markup by ModMansions on any utilities.

We really enjoyed our stay. The home was charming, well appointed, and close to the main drag in Palm Springs. We loved the pool! Host met us after arrival to give a little tour and explain the noise ordinance.

Great communication with David, clean and lovely interior, kitchen ready for cooking, beautiful pool with a Mountain View all within a walk of downtown. The house itself was spotless upon arrival and the "property ambassador" was there to give us a detailed tour and instructions on how to operate every appliance and gadget. The beds and bedding were sublime and the kitchen fully stocked. We are already making plans for our next visit.

This was a beautiful house with impeccable decoration. It was like a transport back to 1960s Palm Springs and old California. The kids loved the pool and grounds. The rooms were comfortable. It was a lovely and easy walk into town. For an older house, we were amazed at how clean it was. It was also nice to have the in-law house with 2 bedrooms slightly separate from the main house- perfect for a group. David was very communicative and friendly and answered all texts and emails super quick. Highly recommend the house.

Loved our recent stay at the Celebrity Hideaway for my mom’s 90th birthday. Easy walk to shops and restaurants and amazing yard and pool for hanging out. David is a wonderful host and the house had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing birthday get together.

Very well appointed, roomy and comfortable. Pool area was lovely and a huge hit with everyone. Neighborhood was upscale and walking distance to restaurants and coffee shops.
Management left nothing to chance and was available to answer any questions.

Three of us girlfriends travelled from Nevada to Palm Springs for an extended weekend with our adult girls. We managed to eat, drink and shop our way through Palm Springs! But the best part of the stay was the time we spent at the Celebrity Hideway lounging by the pool and enjoying this beautiful home. David was so responsive if there was anything we needed or if we had questions about anything regarding the home or the area. It is no small feat to keep 9 women happy but you certainly succeeded! Thanks for the wonderful, memorable weekend!

Stayed here with a group of friends and it was easily the most fantastic vacation rental I have ever stayed at. The house is meticulously appointed and has everything you could need. David and team were so hospitable and helpful and accommodating. If you’re looking for a place to stay in PS, this is by far the best. My friends and I will definitely be back!

This was such a great experience, and David, who checked me in and handled any communication was seriously so amazing. We experienced one of the only times there was a lightning/rain storm and David was very communicative with us throughout to make sure nothing went wrong or to see if we had any concerns (there were a few outages in the area). The house was set for everything we needed for the few days we were there in terms of household necessities (toilet paper, paper towels, initial toiletries etc) but just know that you will need to provide any kitchen staples so add things like olive oil and butter to your shopping list if you plan on cooking in :) But David was very upfront with that when we checked in so we were prepared to add what we needed to our list of goodies.
The neighborhood is so charming, with many celebrity homes dotting the surrounding area (made for some great walking tours, which David will share with you if you ask!).
Would DEFINITELY stay again and would recommend it for chill groups that want to lay by the pool, cook family style meals and just have a relaxing Palm Springs trip.

Wow- I cannot say enough about this place! I can truly say that this was the best stay we all had experienced. From our Property Ambassador to our accommodations, seriously, they took care of it and everything essential was provided. If I am ever in Palm Springs, CA again, I will be staying at this property. This is a great house for groups. Spacious rooms, separate casita, large dining room, all well kept and clean. The yard space was larger than we expected. Lot's of areas to relax, in addition to the resort style pool area. Stunning views from the grass area, especially during sunset hours. Communication with David, our onsite contact, was fast and welcoming. We forgot to pay for the pool to be heated and within 30 minutes someone was there to turn it on. The pool temperature was perfect. The surrounding neighborhood is incredible. I loved early morning walks, looking at these massive properties. We also all loved how close we were to restaurants, shops, coffee, etc. It became a morning ritual to grab coffee from Koffi. It was a 5 minute walk. Our stay was amazing but we did have one big drawback . They are not kidding when they say "no outdoor music." You can't have music or any loud noise (including screaming kids) outdoors 24/7, no exceptions or you will get evicted without refund. They do mention this at booking but we didn't realize how serious it was. This is apparently a city enforced ordinance for all vacation house rentals in the city of Palm Springs so we couldn't be upset with Mod Mansions. It was a bummer to not have music by the pool and to have to keep telling our kids to keep it down when they were having fun in the pool. We all adjusted to the strict outdoor rules and still had a wonderful time. This would probably be a better fit for adults who are perfectly fine with putting their earbuds in while relaxing by the pool. It truly is a nice place and you can't beat the location.

The home was just as described. Beautiful, spacious, and private. It was the perfect way for us to relax and getaway before we headed out to our festival. The home was clean and very comfy. The house manager was very responsive and helpful.

This is a beautiful and perfect property. It was very clean and we could tell it has been well taken care of. Our host, David, met us at the house exactly when he said he would. He was great, telling us about the house and making sure we knew how everything ran. The location of the house is PERFECT! We could easily walk into town and to the Thursday night street fair. I would definitely recommend this property to friends!

The house and location were absolutely perfect for us. 4 couples, each with our own bedroom and bath, with a spare bedroom to house all our empty luggage. The property was extremely clean and well-maintained, and we loved the location...within close walking distance of downtown Palm Springs, restaurants, bars and even church! Jim, our property contact, was very approachable, answered all our questions promptly. A wonderful place to spend your Palm Springs vacation!

We (2couples) have rented this house before and love this location. It is a great area for walking our dogs (4 of them which the owners allowed!) and downtown shopping and restaurants are only a few steps away. The house is very comfortable and well furnished. Our two dogs loved escaping to the Casita. If you were trying to cook for more than 4 people, you might find the kitchen a bit cozy. Also, the newly added bedroom was quite nice, but the shower never got hot enough and the flow was too restricted. Bottom line, we will return!

I have to start out by saying the Property Managers of this house were awesome. James and Kenny assured me I had nothing to worry about and they were right. Kenny met us at the house and showed us the ropes so I felt like we were at home. We had an amazing Thanksgiving dinner with my new Husbands family and my family. This house was so cozy sitting in the living room with the fireplace and all of us hanging out as a family. We each had our own rooms and they were all so private. The Pool was refreshing and completely Heated so in November's cold weather we were able to go swimming. We were walking distance to downtown and loved walking around the neighborhood. I cant say enough about the experience we all had, now we have decided to make this a tradition and pick a new place and house every year. Thank you so much for making my first Thanksgiving as a newlywed and with my new family a wonderful Memory :)
