The condo looks as advertised and was comfortable and clean. The host is excellent. She was very communicative and helpful. The property is a bit isolated, so you will need a car, but the end of the island is beautiful and peaceful.

My husband and I found this listing and thought it would be perfect for our honeymoon. The seclusion was perfect. The property is beautiful. It was far away from everything yet close enough for us to get there when we wanted. Pick up some groceries and you can fend for yourself on the property. Having access 24/7 to the pool and hot tub were definitely a plus. The people were super friendly and we had some great times together by the pool. The restaurant was open everyday except Monday. Jeanette is an excellent cook and bartender. The issue we had was in the condo. Every time my husband and I went inside, I would experience issues with my asthma. On our second to last day, my husband decided to investigate and discovered a slew of pet hair behind the sofa. Upon further investigation, we were able to find pet hair on the table in the living room. The issue that we have is that upon the departure of an occupant, a thorough cleaning should be completed for a new occupant. That is just the due diligence of a property owner and/or manager. While an occupant clearly violated the terms of their stay by bringing a pet, the condo should nonetheless be cleaned of anything from the previous occupant. The bedding was also not to standard. We had a Queen bed with King sheets on it and the pillows should be replaced. They are quite dingy. This was brought to Lisa's attention and she was extremely apologetic and even offered to move us to another unit, but we were leaving the next morning.

We stayed for 3 nights of our 7 night trip. I’m glad we only did 3 nights, it is about 25 minutes from the shops and restaurants at grace bay. The host was super nice and communicative. The property and pool was very nice but during our stay there was a lot of mosquitos to the point of not being able to stay outside past 4:30pm (not the condos fault but something to know before you go). It’s a much less expensive option than grace bay but you get what you pay for.

Place was nice. Just beware that it is very remote. We had to drive on a dirt road for quite some distance. Most nice restaurants were at least 30 minutes away. Resort restaurant wasn’t open which was disappointing. No adult PDF for the kayaks.

Fun time at secluded part of island. Pick a new beach to experience each day.

This resort is located in a remote part of the island, but is a pretty short drive to go out to eat or to other Island locations. you will be alone on a very beautiful beaches. For us, it was a nice change of pace at the end of our stay which had been on Grace Bay. The resort was clean and well kept with plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas.

Northwest Point was just way too far removed from because the restaurant was closed. We did not know that the restaurant was closed until a few days before we arrived. By that time it was too late to cancel. We stopped at the main office several times to talk with someone about our concerns with our condo but there was never anyone around to speak with. Very frustrating! Our condo had only two burners on the stove that worked and the pots and pans were not safe or fit to cook with because the non-stick surface was peeling off and they were rusted. The washer did not spin the water out of our clothes and the dryer was missing a vent screen and our clothes kept getting stuck in the vent hole. After running the dryer for 3, 50 minute cycles the clothes were still soaking wet! Just not acceptable. The Resort as a whole has much potential but it looks as though it has not been kept up in the last few years. The paddles for the kayaks etc. were so broken you couldn't use them safely. Most of the lights on the trees around the pool area were not working so the ambiance that was portrayed in the pictures was not there. Pictures of the dining available in the outdoor area were very misleading and should have been listed as CLOSED. We left the resort 3 days early and found another resort to stay at. We let our owner know but she did not even offer any refund, just said we should have let her know sooner. I would not recommend this resort because of all of the false advertising especially in relationship to the restaurant not being open. It was a huge inconvenience to have to drive 12 miles to get food two or three times a day. Not at all what we expected.

So much about our stay was really fantastic. The resort was terrific and the people we met were great. The unit itself had some challenges and the management did what they could to address them. While some updates had been done to the unit there are more that are needed. For example, the microwave over the stove didn’t work so they put another one on the counter. There were some things that would have been nice to have in the kitchen such as measuring cups, foil, plastic wrap, laundry detergent- things you may use once during your stay and with groceries and consumables on the island so expensive it would have been a nice touch. Still, we snorkeled, went scuba diving and sailing and the unit supported our trip well.
