About this cottage rental
'Pretty Cottage' is an end of terrace cottage in lower Solva, one of Pembrokeshire's most picturesque Harbour villages. Comprising of a comfortable, cosy living room, fully equipped kitchen/dining room, utility area and shower/toilet downstairs, with two bedrooms (1 x double, 1 x twin) and a bathroom upstairs, all tastefully decorated with bespoke curtains and furnishings. Outside is a pretty garden and patio/BBQ area backing on to the River Solva which runs along the bottom of the garden. The cottage is within easy reach of the harbour, tea rooms, pubs and shops, whilst the village is an ideal base from which to explore the coastal path, fantastic local beaches, stunning coastline and sites of historic interest such as nearby St Davids (3 miles away) and the natural beauty of Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and its wildlife. Wifi is available in the cottage. Parking for Pretty Cottage is in a communal parking area for approximately 5 cars on the opposite side of the road to the path leading up to the Cottage, roughly 25 metres away (please note this is not a dedicated parking area and there is usually room but this can not be guaranteed)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pretty Cottage. It totally lived up to expectations; ideally situated, cosy, clean and comfortable. Exactly as described on the website!
Solva is stunningly beautiful and the coastal cliff top walks with all the wild flowers and seabirds are fantastic.
Thank you so much.

Lovely cottage situated on the riverside. Good local pubs and walks near-by. Hosts super friendly and helpful on where to go, during our stay. Stayed over Easter so busy, street parking limited but Payable Carpark 2 min walk from cottage. Small supermarket at top of village about 30 mins walk there and back from cottage, very scenic though. Favourite pub was “Hats and Barrels”. Visited Tenby, Dale (Griffin pub amazing seafood), St David’s, Blue Lagoon and White Sands.

We had a great week with our dog. Warm and comfortable cottage with beautiful garden and river at the end. Felt really relaxed in the property- incredibly quiet with no passing traffic. Great location with 3 min walk into the pub shops and harbour. Lots of walks available. Would love to return again soon- highly recommend!

Absolutely gorgeous cottage- magical location!
We did’nt want to leave.
Beautifully decorated clean and cosy cottage, we were greeted by complementary welshcakes and loaf!
Really hoping to stay again before too long.
For some reason though, my phone would not let me access the app to check in, so emailed the owner instead.

Quiet and private with the sound of the stream at the end of the garden. We love Solva and this cottage was perfectly situated. Beautiful art work and soft furnishings.

We stayed here in the middle of January and loved every minute. It was clean, warm. nicely decorated and equipped with just about everything we needed for our stay. Great location close to the village, so minutes from pubs/cafes and with a secure garden for the dog.
Great and timely communication from Emma who is opening her shop in Solva next week.
We love Solva and will definately be back.

This is a cosy, comfortable cottage with some beautiful decorative touches, overlooking a lovely garden with a river at the bottom and a wood beyond. A truly idyllic location for my first solo holiday in a village that I love.

Our first visit to this part of Wales, as we usually go to Cornwall in November, and fancied a change. We had a lovely stay at Pretty Cottage, which is near to the beach with lots of walks for us and the dog. A small issue but could have had better quality kitchen utensils as we both enjoy cooking rather than dine out. Other than that an excellent stay, so much so we extended it by one day.

A lovely property in a great location. Everything you need with a lovely garden where you can have a morning coffee and listen to the river. Enclosed sufficiently to stop the dog escaping.
Morning walks over the headland and when the tide is out you can walk out along the harbour where a sandy beach awaits. Be sure to walk out to the Solva Woollen Mill. A gorgeous walk up the valley with a cafe awaiting.
Do book restaurants in Solva and surrounds as staffing is still an issue. Can recommend Grain in St Davids and The Shed in Porthgain. Great walks all around but particularly enjoyed the one from Porthgain along the cliffs.
Will visit again.

We had a lovely time here (family of 4). The cottage and garden are very peaceful yet close to Solva shops/harbour/beach. The garden is a great place to relax and unwind should you not fancy a day out on the coast. In warm weather, the cottage feels spacious with the patio doors open out to the garden. Parking although not guaranteed, is usually available opposite or up the Lane. Failing that, the Harbour car park is close by at £5 a day or free for NT members (although they don’t advertise that!).

Cottage is beautiful - just as described. Comfortable, well-equipped and located in the heart of the quiet (at this time of year, anyway) village. Right by the river, the garden is neat and sheltered, with places to catch the sun at any time of day, including right by the side of the river. The village has a range of places to eat and drink - I think we tried them all and none disappointed..
Can thoroughly recommend.

We had a really lovely stay in Pretty Cottage and certainly hope to return soon. Solva itself is great (including the pubs in walking distance!) and the coast path here is spectacular. Great holiday had by both of us.

Great little place to stay, with nice cosy snug and warm feel. Great place to sip a wine during the winter in front of the fire, or share a home prepared meal together.
Nice bbq area down by riverside for the warm summer evenings and bonus stumbling distance to the local pub / restaurant 2 minutes out the door.

Perfect position. Lovely interior design and very comfortable. Garden with lots of places to sit - very nice by the river, even a covered area.
Many thanks.

A very pretty cottage, excellent location, lovely neighbours, fantastic cafe and galleries minutes away as well as the beautiful harbour and coastal paths.
Cottage had absolutely everything you would need and mum, dad and two teenage boys and a dog were very happy. Definitely will return again.

We have stayed in Solva for many years- the first time though staying in pretty cottage. For us it was the best cottage in Solva, although very nicely decorated and presented the key for us was the gorgeous garden backing onto the river. We sat listening to the water, sheltering from the boiling hot sun under the vine topped shelter with some freshly caught mackerel on the built in BBQ - bliss! Kids loved the outdoor space too- especially good for young children - there are gates which stop unsupervised access too.

Wonderful location close to Solva Quay.

unfortunately there was no available parking close to the cottage when we first arrived. and we had to park in the harbour car park overnight so it was a a considerable way for my 80 year old friend to carry our luggage. otherwise the cottage was lovely.

Lovely cottage comfortably furnished with a private garden and the River Solva flowing at bottom of property grounds. Lots of places to eat in Solva some must be booked due to Covid but we had no issues plus take aways available as well. Ideally placed for walkers . Well informed information given prior to visit and welcome pack awaiting on arrival.

It has a lovely sunny garden and handy for the village and harbour. We received a lovely welcome gift which was much appreciated. We hope to return again.
