Horrible stay
Would not recommend
So dirty and not clean
Parking situation was horrible

Suitable for our weekend visit! Location was good for us, about a mile from Old Quebec but doable. Hotel is clearly on the older side, there was some wear and tear in the room (headboards and bathroom vanity were a little scuffed up). I think the biggest issue was that a lot of the outlets in the room either didn't work or were loose. Reception was helpful with check in, parking, and taxi bookings

Convenient location, but upon arrival there was no hot water, service was slow and hotel desperately needs a renovation

The Concorde has the best view on Old Québec but it seems that it was not renovated or actualized over the years. A lot of details were neglected in the room (toilet running continuously, fungus on joints that were ripped in the bathroom, uncomfortable pillows, very noisy ventilation system, etc. ). There is a pool and 1 of the 2 jacuzzis was not functional (impossible to control jet strength).
The restaurant is worth the view however. The food was a little pricey but very good overall and the service was excellent.

It was a nice place. Overall is a nice play to stay for a few nice and it has a beautiful view, very nice staff, a bit old, but it's good. The only negative point we found was that after they cleaned the room during our stay, they didn't completely cleaned the room, they left plastic gloves in the bathroom and they didn't chnage the glasses that we used.

The heated pool is very dirty and smell bad. Water temperature too low.

The location is great and the restaurants (Le Ciel - Bistro Bar and Le Cochon Dingue) are great! Unfortunately, the rooms are in bad shape and the soundproofing is quite poor. The headboards were badly torn (see pictures). As the restaurants were great and so was the location, I stayed 2 nights, but had I been there for a romantic get-away, I would have been upset. Beware of the mold in the washroom. Their wake-up call service did not work. They claimed to have alarm clocks in the rooms and there weren't any. As far as I could tell, the phone in the room did not work either. The staff was nice but not really helpful.

Moldy bathtub, freezing hot tub, very noisy and loud in the night!

We absolutely loved it here!!

Great view from the rotating restaurant

The space was quite large but there was only one office type chair. Some photos of the hotel showed a couch or several comfortable chairs. The space looked somewhat barren and empty. The floors were laminate flooring and was quite tired with many areas should have been replaced. The soap holder in washroom was not cleaned properly. The small fridge was not connected. There was not complementary water bottles. The soap and conditioner in the bathroom was the worst quality I have seen anywhere in a large hotel. Very disappointed with the overall experience for the cost involved.

I'm sad to say it's outdated and our furniture was stained and not so clean... The location though, perfect!

Parking was a major problem. The hotel garage was often closed in the afternoon. Also the A/C was very noisy. Had to turn it off to sleep at night.
1.5 / 5.0
A little expensive for a hotel that is starting to show a little wear. All but one floors ice machines were out of service. Room waste baskets were not cleaned prior to arrival, and there was only on TV remote for the two locations, Themed room was ok if you're a Canadian football follower. Taxis were readily available and dining was local.

The hotel building needs some extensive upkeep ( pool, sauna showers, rugs furniture in room
Great surroundings
Easy, close walking for tourists

The condition of the room was unsatisfactory, with evident signs of age and neglect. It was not properly prepared prior to our arrival, as the shampoo and conditioner dispensers were empty. While the lobby was well-maintained, the overall state of the facilities fell short of expectations.

Nice service but need rénovation !

Even as we were checking in, I felt unease. Reception and foyer area was bare bones. No name of hotel anywhere inside. Looked like in the middle of renovations. Carpet in foyer dirty. Elevator to room dirty. Hallway to room smelled like smoke. Doors to rooms in hallway needing paint and looked like 1-star motel. Our room: broken bed, lumpy comforter, bathroom ancient with old curtain and mold, counters badly stained and dirty, taps all corroded, bare bones supplies, no microwave. Checked out immediately. Not staying there and paying almost $1,000CDN for 3 nights.

The suite we were given was clearly in need of renovation and was not finished like rooms we saw on other floors. There was a chair holding a section of wall board in place over a heating duct, there were scrapes on the walls, chipped paint on doors, peeling flooring, and a broken wall sconce between the beds. Lighting in general was inadequate, one of the beds had been used prior to our arrival, and there was a dirty washcloth on the counter in the bathroom. Also the faucet on the sink was in need of a new washer, the shower had mildew, and the bathroom door would not close all the way. In summary, this place was terrible. The staff was kind and changed the sheets on the bed and removed the dirty washcloth, but the longer we were there, the more we found that seemed to indicate that this room was either in line for remodeling or had been in disuse for some time. Be forewarned, if assigned room 627 at checkin, immediately request a different room.

Beds are not soft and the hot water isn’t regulated so don’t flush while showering.. lol
But the hotel is in a great spot, walkable to everything

The team was excellent, Ines and Yvonn specifically. I observed the masterfully handle a number of irate guests. Ines specifically was courtious, professional, and displayed great experience.
The rooms and halls were so so sad and in disrepair. I took a number of photos but cannot upload. Wallpaper peeling, large brown spots in tub, floor lifting, walls stained. Hallway carpets looked 50 years old and were fuzzy, holes, shedding. Elevator missing buttons. Ownership is clearly not reinvesting in the upkeep of this otherwise grande dame.

Great hotel. We only stayed one night but wish we could have stayed longer.

Old and outdated. Hot water in the shower took 5 minutes to heat up around 4pm in the day. Lots of paint chips on walls in room and noticeable age to building.

We had booked a Deluxe room with a King size bed. The room only had a bed and 1 chair by desk. No other furniture to sit on. The toilet over flowed and the bathroom sink was blocked. We were given another room once complaints made.

The hot tub was NOT hot.

We thought it would be a lovely beginning to our honeymoon by choosing a more expensive (assumed better) hotel.
The bathroom was dirty, our room was missing lightbulbs, the sheets were stained, the AC unit was literally falling apart. There were broken floorboards, no light in the shower (huge safety issue), the soaps were in dispensers as if i was in a McDonalds bathroom. There was no art on the walls, the rooms were so empty they echoed.
The only positive was the rotating restaurant - it was wonderful.
The location of the place was great, but all pros stop there. I would never return to this hotel.

Items from last occupant (soap) was left in the room casting doubt on the cleanliness in general.
Toilet was wobbly. Safe was not working. Due to a major break, water was cut off on my first morning at the hotel. All in all a very disapointing stay.

The property is dated. Had to fish button in hole to request an elevator, water pipe burst in middle of shower, laminate flooring peeling in room.

Great service, room was upgraded and everyone was helpful and courteous... right next to the Plains of Abraham and hop on hop off bus stopped almost at the door

What a wonderful place to stay. We asked for a room with a view and we certainly got one. Beautiful. Room was great, staff was exceptional, restaurant was great!

All the furniture is from 60’s and in very poor condition. Pictures are deceptive. Had key issues multiple times. Amazing location and great view.

The check in staff were friendly though the staff member serving me had the most wrinkled white shirt I’ve ever seen. We arrived around 11pm so it was dark and once inside the room could not locate any light switches. There were two lamps in the room. Neither worked with the switch so we called the front desk. An attendant appeared quickly and we realized the lamps had been unplugged. Why!?! One light bulb was missing as well. We tried locking our belongings in the safe but it was stuck in the open position. We found an empty cardboard 6 pack container sitting behind the chair. The soap in the shower dispenser was ridiculously hard to press and amounted very little soap.
On the final morning we decided to leave the room at 11am but at 9am the water was turned off. We had no water to shower or shave or even use the toilet. Very disappointed.

Arrived before check in time and was able to store our luggage and explore city. BUT hotel is old and not recently renovated as in headboards of "leather" were cracked and missing, lighting was very minimal but room was clean and presentable

Short walk from historic Quebec old city, the Citadel, Plains of Abraham and many other historical sites. Our room was on a higher floor and we had a spectacular view of the St. Lawrence River and the Hotel Frontenac.

geographic situation . beautiful place
3.0 / 5.0
The condition and cleanliness of our room was subpar. The room was dilapidated. There was a globby dark stain on the floor and a dirty uncleaned toilet. It was an older unit. I don't think the staff cleans the rooms - they only replace towels and make the bed between guest stays. This was a repeat visit and I was displeased at the fall from grace.
Also, there was nightly noise from a nightclub on the street below well into the night from young, loud screaming nightclub patrons and loud DJ music.
The positives are its walking distance to Old Quebec and the wonderful view from our room.
I will look elsewhere for lodging in future.
