I think I would pay more for elsewhere. It’s obviously a cheap hotel past its prime. close to the Genessee theater, and you can easy walk to fast food. They are trying, but there were roaches in the bathroom. parking at the Genessee is easy $10 so you could stay a few more miles away.

I stayed here because it was close to my boyfriend navy graduation and I was worried at first because of the reviews I read. But I’m here to tell you none of what I read was true the bed was comfy the bathroom was clean and the water hot and cold offered was amazing. The staff was very welcoming and even had a graduation background set up for pictures. I truly enjoyed my stay!

Our first room had messy sheets with white out covering black stations, I’m assuming bed bugs. The beds also didn’t have mattress protectors. When I asked for a new room and pointed out the flaws, manager told me they don’t use mattress protectors because they don’t have bed bugs. In the new room, we found a dead bug on the bathroom floor.

Stayed four nights and got very little sleep. Super noisy room. Was good getting to the Navy Base and was great getting shuttle graduation. Would not stay there again. Loved the staff. Awesome helpful they were.

The flooring was coming up, paint chipping off the walls, you can hear others walking above you, a bit run down/raggedy. They take a deposit and when you check out they say it takes 2 or 3 days to get it back. Any other hotel we've stayed at it goes back immediately after check out.

The air conditioning in the room was good but noisy. Funky shower. Turning on the shower was a two person job. Shower pressure water wash low. TV stations very limited. No sports on TV available.

I was pleased that they set up an area for the new sailors to take photos. Wish they offered some sort of breakfast. A few towels we had should not have been handed out to guest..hokes, really thin and dingy looking. But most parts the night staff was great. The day staff was ok

Will not stay here again. Not happy with being charged when I didn't make it in on time due to my flight and then an overcharge of when I checked out without a valid explanation. At least reimburse my over charge to show some good faith but no, the manager at this hotel was very unprofessional and it seems like they just take people's money when they can. They could at least offer maybe donuts to go with the coffee. Never again. Very disappointed.

Check-in was a little slow due to the gentleman in front of me checking in so that’s not the hotels problem very friendly check-in customer service. The only real problem I had was I have a difficulty going up and downstairs. There was no elevator and they did not have a ground floor as I had requested, the room was very clean. No bedbugs check out went well. They didn’t offer anykind of Continental breakfast

Housekeeping staff were great. Management were rude and argumentative. I asked a question and the desk clerk rudely interrupted me and said i am telling you what you need to know ao be quiet. I told him to back off. Also the second night someone locked their spouse out of the room a copule of doors up from our room. The spouse was beating and beating on the door and woke us up at 3am in the morning. I get up and look out the door and there stands the rude desk clerk with 3 other guests and he says go back in your room. I said get this settled now. About 10 minutes later after the hallway cleared the man and woman were in the hallway yelling at each other. I call the front desk and its rude desk clerk. I try to tell him about the conformation happening in rhe hallway. He starts yelling i took care of it. I said get up here and so yiur job or im calling rhe cops. About 5 mins later silence. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and houaekepping were very friendly and helpful.

Stayed there for three nights and they never once changed our sheets or gave us new towels. Had to ask for toilet paper and they made us come to the front counter to get it. Check-in was easy. if you’re looking for a cheap hotel in the area this is it, but don’t expect much. The hallways smelled like fish. They do allow one pet. Outside of the property was clean. But when you get into the unit and look closely at things….. Just be careful. 1 star maybe 2.

The front desk guy was very helpful with listening to the problems like when someone walked into my room with a key and said "sorry " , front desk guy checked the camera but of course no results.... if you are in town for the graduation just stay at the navy lodge ... so much i can gp on about this nasty hotel but stay at your own risk

Do not stay here! They have clearly figured out how to game the Expedia rating system. Booked because of the 7.4 rating but after arriving actually read review which were either “10” (bogus reviews) or 1 and 2. Where to begin?trashy unkept lobby, people loitering in the parking lot, filthy bed cover, bed bugs, noise above and beside, dirty shower, non functioning lamp and plugs. Place should be shut down. I ate the money and stayed at a different place. Give Expedia a bad name for allowing such dishinesty if advertising

When we got there entering into the building it had a misty smell getting our room it was dingy the bedspread and sheets had stains on them then we went to the front desk to get another one was dirty too had to go to Walgreens to get Lysol and Clorox wipes had to stay there the night because we could find anywhere else checked out the next day

Where do I even begin. First of all, I've been to a few red roofs in and this is by far the worst one I have been to. The smell of this hotel smells like old carpet from the 70s and cigarettes and it smacks u in the face when you walk in. We rented 3 rooms for our family trip. My room smelled old, has pet hair embedded in the first blanket, the sheets were stained and dirty, the towels had holes in them, oh and we woke up to dirty water rising in the tub. The furniture was broken it was a hott mess. The 2nd room had roaches and the air conditioner was old and super loud but at least this room has clean sheets. I don't know about the 3rd room because that was my parents room and I don't wanna know.

Very disappointed with the stay. Have no clue how well the room was cleaned, got checked in and after making it to the room my husband pulled back the covers and there was the back of an earring plus crums on the bottom sheet. Behind the door in area where you hang your coats it needed swept. The bathroom light with the exhaus fan was creepy as the cover was missing. What really got me was seeing a live cockroach in the bathtub the next morning. Plus had to deal with the how noisy the people was the in the next room beside ours and other rooms just down from us. Kids running from room to room. People was very noisy, and then besides yelling at their children, someone from a different room went to that room to see what they was doing, a lady yelled out she was fixing dinner. I went with the hotel as it had a pretty good raiting and decent priced for 2 nigh stay. Beware if you decide to stay there. Best thing is the borrito place down the road.

Bed sheets were dirty. Found some yellow stains and a few that looked like dried blood. Our toilet didn't work on arrival as it drained real slow and left bigger waste. AC and wifi worked though. Overall would not recommend to someone unless they had an emergency or were on a tight budget.

Horrible stay. We came for my son’s navy graduation. The only good thing is there was no carpet in our room. Bed was filthy, we had to ask them to change the entire bed when we walked in. Stains on everything and then some weird mystery stains on everything then black ..something…on the sheets. Thankfully we brought our own pillows and slept on the top blanket - didn’t even want to attempt it. They don’t give enough towels and rags and hassle you when you ask for more even though YOU are the paying guest. We literally had two towels, two hand towels, no rags, and the floor mat was still wet (from whatever) They were extremely rude to family. They are NOT clear on their pet policy. You get what you pay for at that place..so don’t be cheap. Get a decent place if you’re able. Check your beds. Check your towels/rags.

The staff was great and communicative! The only issue I had was the lack of towels and bedding especially when they didn’t clean the rooms daily. I had to go to the front desk several times for both towels and bedding, and they acted as if they didn’t have enough to spare.
