The service was great! The location perfect right on the beach. The mariner is an older hotel but good condition. We did try to use microwave but wasn’t working , it wasn’t that important at the time I’m sure they would have fixed it right away, that’s how good the service was.

It is a beachfront property on the dunes and able to watch amazing sunrises. Breakfast was a nice touch too. Not really a fan of the Roku TV .

Right on the beach! Friendly staff. Spacious room. Had everything we needed in the kitchen. Great hot breakfast. Very happy with our stay. Would love to stay here again.

Considering the Mariner's Inn is an old Days Inn it was in pretty good condition and the front desk people were very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast is your standard fare of prepared eggs, sausage, pancakes, various pastries, and cereals, nothing really outstanding.

Was put on a second floor room with no elevator. The room had a terrible odor. The carpet on the outside hall and stairs was held in place with duct tape.

It was a place to sleep for the night. The pool looked clean and it was right on the ocean with beach access. Breakfast was not good. Sausage was a pasty gray color and cold. The coffee came out of a machine the eggs were like rubber maybe like other hotels they were powder?? The roomed smelled musty and the floor was dirty. In much need of updates but if you need place to sleep it is just fine. We only needed one night.

We stayed for a week in a Deluxe Suite Sea View. The view is amazing - the motel is right on the ocean. However, you can’t hear it from inside the room and the windows don’t open. There is a balcony walkway that you can drag the kitchen chairs out to sit and watch/listen to the beach, but that was a little disappointing. The room was really dated, and the bathroom tiles were super old and the grout was moldy/dirty. None of the soap/shampoo dispensers had any soap in them. There were two double beds but they were small and not very comfortable. The breakfast is very average. It was the same each day with cheese omelette and sausage, biscuits and gravy, mini muffins, some cereal. Coffee and juice. There is no elevator and our room was on the third floor so we walked up and down a lot of stairs. The price was good for being right on the beach, but this motel could really use some updating. You get what you pay for. Parking is easy. The pool is old and a little shabby looking. The desk person was incredibly nice and helpful.

The hotel is pretty nice, the two room suite is ideal having kids. The pool was clean, and beach access is amazing. The continental breakfast was ok, the coffee was better than most hotel coffees Ive had. Staff was very friendly and professional.

The staff is amazing, the location is superb (less than 2 minutes to the beach). The bathroom looked like it was remodeled recently and for just the 2 of us it was so spacious! The only downside was the room was a little musty smelling but with a little febreeze and air fresheners it was great!

I booked queen suite with ocean front They didn’t specified it ja in first floor, the view is obstructing with sand dunes When I was booking the picture is showing as it is in first floor and ocean view That is ripp off for money, not worth the stay for money

The location is good, breakfast very simple and not a lot of options. We stayed at another building that wasn’t attached to the reception, and the room has a weird smell and looks a little old

We appreciated the "dog friendly" accomodations and the location is amazing. Breakfast was included with our stay and it was good, eating area clean and cozy. The hotel was noise and the tub dint drain right but overall a good stay.

The suite was very spacious and comfortable, breakfast was nice. Anything else needed was easy to get from very friendly staff. 2 suites are beside each other and they are not sound proof, we could hear talking and their TV. We will stay there again

So the website says housekeeping daily after the 2nd day of out room not being cleaned we stopped at the office and they said you have to ask for it. New owners not really sure what their doing

It’s shared walkway on the second floor. Disappointed in the view, considering I paid for ocean view and vegetation on the Sandune prevented a big view of the ocean.

The place is in desperate for a make over! Very disappointed! Musty, beds were like sleeping on the floor. No soap and shower was stained. Fresh paint would be nice. Room seemed dirty and dingy.

I loved it. It was very modern for an old motel. I loved the parking at the room door. The room was very comfortable I will stay there again when we visit the Outer Banks again. Short walk to the water. Two thumbs Up! 👍👍

The service was spectacular from the front desk to the cleanliness of the room. Bed was comfortable. Suggestion-need to have different items for breakfast in lieu of the same things every morning. Also need half-n-half.

The photos are completely misleading. The room was very small, stayed in a room with double beds, there was not even enough space to stand in the room everything was just crammed. Room was not even worth for 50$ but paid 7 times more. Room also had an ocean view but ocean was not visible. Bathroom was so also very small, there was no space between bath tub and flush toilet. Lobby had dead cockroaches and it was never cleaned. I would not recommend anyone this hotel to anyone.

Nice access to the beach. Rooms were clean. Rooms were small. Breakfast was great. The water pressure for the shower was low. A/C unit could not keep up to keep the room as cool as we would have liked.

wow! RIGHT by the beach. to walk on the beach at sunset then be right back out before sunrise, both starting within a minute, absolutley invaluable. very, very kind lady at check-in. nice breakfast. very quiet with incredible beach access, yet be on main strip in a minute for restaurants and drive to other bank islands. this hotel has us wanting to come back to obx.

I think this hotel is a good value for the location and the ONLY reason I downgraded it was because we had chosen pay at hotel upon arrival and they processed the payment as soon as the cancelation period was over and before we arrived. Normally It would not have mattered but as a personal preference I wanted to pay in a different fashion that the guarantee CC. Poor Customer Service.
