Excellent location! Beautiful Hotel! Very pleasant and comfortable stay!

Clean comfy bed. Nice food. Lovely staff apart from one lady on reception.

The bed was so uncomfortable both my self and my son have had to see the doctor with our backs . My son’s shower wouldn’t go past warm because the valve was set up wrong . The sofas in the rooms were so old you couldn’t sit on them or you will fall into them .
When functions were on people huddled around the front door smoking and blew smoke in your face when you walked in . I booked 3 rooms and all of them were just as bad .
I spoke to the receptionist about this and she told me people like the soft beds they say they are like sleeping on a cloud and they can’t please everyone. I also mentioned that there were no bathrobes in the room so didn’t make use of the spa . She said they have never put bathrobes in the room and it was down to the 3rd party putting the wrong details . I said it’s a spa hotel ? Wouldn’t you put bathrobes in a room?
It’s such a shame because it’s a lovely looking hotel .
One night would have probably been ok but 1 week was too much .

Our 1 night stay was good. Reception very friendly and helpful. This is a decent place to stay, ok, a little tired here and there but, comfortable and does its job very well. The drinks and food expensive (didn’t try) as we think this large hotel is used by business customers, probably on expense accounts. Set in large grounds away from town youll need to drive if you wish to eat elsewhere.
3.8
The room was very tired and cramped, even though I had upgraded from a basic room. The glassware was dirty and there wasn’t enough towels provided for 3 guests.
We also used the pool facilities during our stay. The spa was ok but the pool water was very cold.
3.8
The main hotel is lovely. Paid to upgrade to a premium double with garden view.
Nice room with a view of the garden.
Bed was a double but there’s enough room for a king which nowadays most hotels offer especially in a deluxe room. One fatty & there’s no room.
Nice luxury soft furnishings.
Plenty of tea & coffee plus coffee machine.
You can ask for fresh milk.
Bathroom had a shower over bath - most hotels have walk ins in luxury rooms but wished I’d specified a walk in shower as I had a job to get my leg over bath but that’s my fault.
Nice Elemis toiletries. Big bathroom.
Garden was lovely so we ate outside from the bar menu.
I had chicken Caesar salad which was lovely even though it was pricey. Hubby had burger & fries, nice burger but not many (tiny) fries , again pricey.
Although you do expect to pay more in a hotel like this as it must take a lot to run & maintain.
Beautiful setting for a wedding & one was to take place the day we left.
We were woken 8am by the continuous very loud strimming of the lawn. I thought that could have been done on a weekday afternoon (Friday) rather than first thing. It was only a hour but the constant noise was awful. We’d planned to lie in as breakfast was served until 11.
Overall fantastic staff, great service,, beautiful setting, lovely room in main house. It’s worth paying extra to have a garden view.
Would go again.

Comfortable beds, wonderful food and really lovely bar staff, but the room was very tatty and tired, and noise from adjoining rooms / the corridor was significant.

Woken 3 times in the night by flushing toilet in next door room; problem with insulation. I otherwise a pleasant stay.

A beautiful place with brilliant staff

Very lovely staff nice room good breakfast lovely pool

We stayed one night to celebrate our anniversary and will return. The decor is a little tired in places but everything else is exceptional. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, the room was spotless with great aircon, super comfy bed, Elemis toiletries, fresh milk, fridge, coffee pod machine and smart TV. Excellent mineral water tap in hallway with choice of still or sparking and cut glass jug and glasses in room. Beautiful historic building, lovely outdoor seating area and exceptional food. Thank you for making our stay completely relaxing.

Really really nice hotel and dog friendly. Lovely rooms and the spa and pool is fantastic.

Always a good place to stay and a quiet nights rest.
Food and drink are good, if a little pricey, but I am from the north so am not used to pricing siren south

We ate breakfast around 10 it was a bit “tired”

Great hotel, helpful staff. Great facilities.

Bed was to soft

Nice, quiet hotel. I just wanted to highlight the amazing customer service I received at both the reception and the restaurant. I arrived a bit early, and the lady at the reception ensured my room was made available to me as soon as possible. I also didn't realize that breakfast was served from 8 AM on weekends, which was a bit late for me as I had to leave the hotel early. The restaurant manager, Bozena, made sure our breakfast was ready before the opening hours so we could leave the hotel on time. Many thanks.

Not equipped to deal with a wedding as well as guests. Wedding guests were loud rude and kids running up and down the corridors late at night. Rooms were outdated and shabby. Not at all comfortable. Staff stressed.
3.8
Older property and bathrooms. A bit cluttered in the room and hard to move with luggage to the room location. Was grateful for the aircon. Lounge rooms were nice and enjoyed the indoor swim pool and sauna/steam rooms

Very comfortable ,spacious, clean and quiet. Staff efficient and friendly .highly recommend .

Well we booked a twin room and ended up with a double for to guys which really wasn’t good.

Great base for our trip to Ascot.
Very nice breakfast

Lovely spot - nice customer service
3.8
Reception staff on arrival not very welcoming. Tired and needs updating especially the bedroom carpet.
3.8
The first room I was given had a strong smell of paint having recently been decorated. It was incredibly overpowering.
The second room was better but for the price shocking. The headboard was screwed onto the wall which fell off and you could see the screws, and damage to the plasterboard. The bathroom was tiny.
Staff were not helpful at all, not explaining where the facilities are, their opening times. Breakfast was really basic too considering the price of the night. Overall felt very ripped off.

Great hotel and friendly staff

The hotel staff are lovely. The property is in need of some work and they should consider how wedding guests interact with customers. There was a wedding when we were there and the wedding guests were taking up the whole of the hallway and it was really difficult getting through without having to jostle people. When we went for breakfast the staff were so apologetic as here were all these guests eating standing up and taking up all the space which made it difficult to access the buffet. The lady who was running the breakfast hall was clearly getting super stressed and should have had more staff.
3.8
We paid for an upgraded room and got a room with a view but it was right off the staircase. A wedding reception was held just downstairs and the noise and music traveled right into our room. Curtains were slightly threadbare, you can’t get a cup of coffee and the only choice for breakfast was a 14 pound silver buffet.

My stay was amazing, the team from Frimley hall made it vey special for my birthday. Thank you so much for adding some sparkle on my special day.

Spa gym lovely staff ! Breakfast ok but those poor sausages looked like they had been boiled. Will go again as overall great value for money

Lovely hotel with beautiful grounds to sit outside and enjoy a drink and some lunch. We paid for a large room with a four poster bed. The room was clean the only downside was the view, which was the roof top with all the air con vents which made noises at times and you could see into windows or other rooms, so really no view which was a shame for such a grand room (room 201 Prince Albert suite).
There was a wedding taking place and our room was directly above the reception. Receptionist did warn us when we checked in that it would be noisy but it didn’t bother us as we enjoy music and had drinks in our room, but may not be to everyone’s taste if looking for a relaxing evening so worth checking on room location when booking.
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcomed, so overall we enjoyed our short stay.
3.8
Terrible. Rubbish disabled parking in relation to the accommodation, too much hassle to get to bar/restaurant in a wheelchair from room as had to go outside then downhill then back up to return. Initially no electric to sockets so no TV working and couldn’t use hairdryer etc. Shower had to be on little more than a trickle for hot water, had to be a cold shower if you wanted a decent flow, bath lacked handrail on one side (accessible room) which could have caused issues and not brilliant on cleaning front.
No customer service, no pleasantries on arrival or departure, seemed like it was a chore, wouldn’t stay here again
3.8
Love the water fountain near my room ( love this as I don’t drink tap water) only down side was that the room next door where speaking loudly in the night and the walls are to thin.
3.8
I liked the attitude of the staff. There was nothing I disliked about the hotel.
3.8
Very nice decor in the atrium and lovely touch with water fountains in the hallway dispensing sparkling water!
Breakfast at 8 on Saturday is a bit late especially for the workers. Nice to have a pool, sauna and steam room.

Was a nice hotel for the money, but don't expect super high end luxury. Paid for an upgraded room to have bath robes (had to ask for them) and Elemis toiertries (got handsoap and shampoo). The room was clean, although looking tired in places. For the money, I can't fault it, but as mentioned, don't expect a luxury spa experience. The gym, spa and pool are in another building, so not really the type of place you walk around in your slippers and robe (unless your comfortable walking through the carpark). The front of the building and reception areas do look grand, but you find the rear of the property to be a modern (guess 1960's) extension that sits awkwardly in the hotels grounds. Bonus points for being dog friendly!

We received a lovely welcome We were given a lovely room in the main building. The beds were really comfy The breakfast was delicious Staff were accomodating and freindly The pool was fabulous Plenty of parking space Only negative was I wasnt able to get through on phone on day to inform them of our late check in Apparantly problem with phones
3.8
Clean comfortable room with a spotless bathroom and shower. A little dated decor but no complaints as room price reflects this. All staff friendly and helpful and great breakfast.
