We went to ABQ for some family issues that were unpleasant. We were given the Amado Peña room which was absolutely beautiful! I’ve always enjoyed Amado’s work and was fortunate enough to have met him briefly a few times many years ago. The room brought back some happy memories that were very comforting during that stressful time. On the down side however, the room faced east, the curtains were thin and ill-fitting and the morning sun woke us much too early every morning. The daily adult beverage, the pool and Garduños, combined with the beautiful room made for a very pleasant week!

Clean room, pool, hot tub, and lobby. Great and friendly staff. Wish the bed and toilet were taller, but the bed frame is a shin killer. It's a good place for tourists since it's right of the highway and close to restaurants and shops. The fact that they have Gardunos in the hotel makes it wonderful for excellent food without leaving.

Was a good stay!

There was a Starbucks across the parking lot.

The hotel is Very run down and dirty. First impression was the filthy carpet in the elevator as you arrive. Would not stay here again. 10./25/2024

There was no phone in the room to be able to call the front desk or housekeeping. Housekeeping kept giving us nasty stained towels.

The Nativo was a welcome change from the Hotel Chains, Once you enter you’re transported into another realm. The front desk sets the tone with a true “Welcome” to the Nativo, after that settle into a cultural wonderland with all the modern amenities

Hotel needs updating. Very noisy, traffic from highway. Walls are very thin and you can here conservations

We were exhausted when we checked in. They were quick and kind. Made us feel very welcomed.

The bed was not comfortable too hard. Bed frame was too big for mattress. Each of us stubbed toes and knees. Bathroom needs remodeling.

Checked in and staff was super helpful and kind and professional. The rooms and facility have been around a while and do have a need for upgrading. Elevator alone has a few issues. Room was nice the bathrooms need upgrading for sure.

There was no phone in the room-a potential problem if there is an emergency. Desk was asked for bottled water but none was available. Seem quite cheap for a resort.

I won’t lie for the price I payed “130ish” I can’t complain but I would say they should look into updating the carpet and the elevator I was a little interesting when your elevator is 1. The only way to the rooms and 2. Very sketchy for the fact of that is sorta bounces ish like when I stepped in it like when down in a way and I only weighed at the time like 220ish and partner at 170ish, won’t lie did scare me. Besides all that if you can look passed that and the 20$ resorts fee which gets you a free drink for each adult in the room and a lot of amenities that usually come with a hotel also including a usable patio, then it was a perfect hotel for my trip and would look into coming back again.

Interior is dated and the restaurant was not open most of the time parking was tight . Elevator was a little noisy

I enjoy my stay here always quiet, in a safer location, and Starbucks right next door. It would be nice if the hours for the restaurant inside the hotel were open a bit earlier/ later. there was no actual landline phone in the room, I know it may be outdated but there is also no one at the business computer. I wanted to make a call from a 505 area code. also no hair dryer or alarm clock in the room. I guess it is assumed because of cell phone usage alarm clocks aren't needed. I did call the front desk to bring up a hair dryer, but it was no big deal. One odd thing to me was the mini fridge and the microwave was placed on the floor with the microwave sitting on top of the mini fridge. It may not look so getto if you at least place those on top of a table other than that the place is great and I will always return .

Lovely!!! It has been many years since I last stayed here, but it won’t be many years till I re-book!
Everything that the hotel staff could control was great. I LOVE that there were discernible amenities provided here in a town where most hotels have recently adopted add-on “Amenity” or “Resort tax” fees on top of nightly rates.
I had a clean, comfortable room, no wait time with anything I did from check-in to check-out, and an adult beverage provided with the cost of my affordable room.
The room was a bit noisy due to nearby construction, but otherwise, this stay was incredible .

This was a solo weekend trip and I booked it because I saw on their listing that they offered an insight bar and restaurant (Garduños).
I checked in on a Saturday evening, (a little after 9pm), and asked the employee at the desk about the bar hours. They informed that they were already closed for the night, and that they are not open on Sundays or Mondays either… the exact days I had booked a room there. Bummer.
The rest of my downtime, I hung out in my room. Bed and pillows was comfortable, spacious and clean room. Didn’t get a chance to check out the pool. Ordered delivery because Garduño’s is closed Sundays and Mondays as well.
I may come back again, but it will definitely be a trip where I don’t rely on public transportation for rides AND on a time frame/days that Garduño’s decides to be open for business.

Ive stayed at the Nativo a few years ago and i still love the decor, the staff were wonderful very nice. The room was clean, with mini fridge and microwave. My only issue was that there were no sheer curtains so when u open the curtains to the balcony you can see straight into the room, also the fridge and microwave could be on a stand or cabinet so its not sitting directly on the floor. A small table would be nice between the 2 lounge chairs. Overall i will definitely stay at Nativo again.

The actual Hotel is very nice and the rooms are clean and spacious and have a very comfortable bed. The problem for us is that our car got stolen on premises and there was no outside security cameras. With cameras being so easy to come by these days I am shocked and saddened they didn't have this tool to help us. The staff just basically said there is nothing they can do.

Lived it!

When entering the property it is gorgeous, but, it falls short in the room area. The rooms do not reflect the quality of the lobby area or pool. It appears the price paid is for amenities that you pay an additional $20 each day for anyhow.
