Hotel was lovely rooms could do with cleaning better as has cobwebs on lights and dust around but comfortable beds and breakfast was lovely
4.2
It was a great experience.
4.2
Disappointed pool was closed but we had a game of crazy golf instead which was good.
Room needed upgrading but was clean with tea, coffee etc. bathroom was clean and good sized towels.
Breakfast was standard buffet .
Was reasonable price wise
4.2
It was a real disappointment had to change rooms 3 times even then it was in a awful
Position with no balcony & view of a road.
The pictures do not give a true representation of the place.
4.2
We stayed in a "Deluxe" room which was very basic so no idea how a "standard" room would have been. Nice touches of branded coffee and toiletries but they didn't take away from the grubbiness of the bathroom. Generally old and tired decor in the room. Communal areas were much better and breakfast was very nice with plenty of choice. Pool and spa area was a nice space to relax but again, the changing rooms were filthy. Lovely branded products to use in the showers, but they were dripping down the bottles and clearly residue of products on the frosted glass walls between the showers. Disappointing.
4.2
Perfect location and facilities for a short stay that was close to a wedding venue we were attending.
The grounds and golf course looked stunning
4.2
We enjoyed our family stay.
We had room 211 - spacious and perfect for a family stay. Even though this is the car park side of the hotel, it is very quiet.
The on-site mini golf, driving range are both all family friendly and easy to use - we didn’t need to pre-book during our stay. The pool is a good size and you can use the hotel towels for swimming.
Top Tip for families! Check in advance the pool times for family swims to avoid disappointment if your arrival time is outside of these times
Special mentions for the staff, keen to help and friendly
4.2
Very good, friendly staff, spa facilities good although steam not working and showers could do with renewal, food excellent, good service
4.2
Spa area is lovely, shame the rest of the hotel doesn't match. Bedroom was comfortable but needs updating, balcony definitely needs some tlc.
4.2
Excellent place to stay… clean, tidy, very friendly. Decor a little dated, but apart from that brilliant.
4.2
Plenty of free car parking. We were greeted by a lovely receptionist, very quick easy check in. Room very comfortable with views of the golf course. Very clean. Restaurant area very light and airy with good spacing between tables. Not cramped. Good food and drink selection. All the staff were very helpful and smiled.
4.2
We had a lovely stay, thank you.
Restaurnt staff were very helpful and good fun.
Spa staff were amazing, especially Summer.
Only negative, that the floor area the pool changing room needed a good clean.
4.2
No aircon, room was hot although a fan was provided. Bathroom soaps and shower gel were via a dispenser, which didn't work properly, and were very basic, not much better than washing up liquid. Nice supply of teas and coffees in room. The Wifi was good. The TV was tiny. The bed was comfortable and the staff were lovely.
4.2
The room this time (second visit) was disappointing; dark, only one high velux widow, noisy very early in morning arond 6am presumbably as staff arrived. Room located at furthest point from reception, so a long way to carry cases. Hotel did not respond to emails, nor phone calls regarding questions, prior to our visit. However, on the plus side sevice in restaurant was much better and so was the range of options available on menu.
4.2
The lady at reception was very nice and Sue at breakfast pulled out the stops for my wife who is gluten intolerant. She had a rare and joined me in a full and yummy breakfast
4.2
Room was near to kitchens so quite noisy with extractor fan and smell of cooking if sky lights open
4.2
Receptionist was extremely helpful & friendly . Also room service was good & food was lovely plenty of it. Room was clean and tidy .but the pillows was very flat , mattress wasn’t comfy at all . We tossed and turned all night couldn’t sleep so we left 3.30 am and went home .
4.2
Ticked all the boxes for our family stay
4.2

Would stay again breakfast good drinks prices reasonable
Parking easy
4.2
Good stay for friends reunion in eXcellent Deben room. Room was warm and not easy to cool without opening windows. Friendly staff helped with baggage. The check in time of 3pm is rigorously adhered to. Breakfast buffet is good as per normal format; parking is plentiful.
4.2
More attention to planted areas . Smarten up the car park areas. Better outdoor facilities for those guests who aren't golf fans
4.2
Friendly and efficient staff, lovely location, will return.

Lovely views from property of golf course

We stayed here for 3 nights as a family. Multiple families for a wedding close by. We were really happy overall. The rooms are definitely a little tired and the bathrooms are quite tight but it was comfortable. Plenty to do at the hotel and it feels very relaxing with a view of the golf course from the bar terrace. The staff at reception were lovely and very friendly and warm. Breakfast was generally good as well. The adventure mini golf was excellent. Pool and spa also of a great standard. Plenty to do and we had a great time..

Celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary. A fantastic stay, staff were fantastic and very friendly, lovely room with an outside view across the golf course. A really lovely stay.
4.2
Views were outstanding but cleanliness of room not as expected.
Shower vent very dirty only hot water in the sink area no cold to clean teeth!
TV remote not working had to turn off by the switch.
Reported to reception but no one came to look at the faults!
4.2
Stayed for a golf birthday celebration overnight. Food was excellent. Rooms clean, beds very comfortable, good views of the golf course.
I guess we were unlucky for the evening meal - l asked upon arrival in the restaurant to sit at a window table as there were 4 unoccupied, only to be told they were reserved, fine but it would’ve been nice as it was my birthday!
After 45 minutes no one had sat at those 4 tables which was disappointing, considering the restaurant was quite empty.
So having been shown to a table where the air conditioning was blowing directly at me, we requested it be turned down - We refused desert as l just wanted to get out of there asap to warm up.
Later we reported this to the Restaurant Manager who said her staff were in training - however there’s no training for common sense & basic customer service which should’ve prevailed here - We were offered a glass of Prosecco as a token apology jesture which was kind but the night had already been spoiled.
In contrast the morning breakfast staff were very helpful, especially young Harry, a celiac himself understood my gluten allergy requirements. He was very kind, attentive & nothing was any trouble, a big thank you Harry.
The Golf facilities, spa, pool etc. are brilliant, there’s something for everyone. Anyone visiting Ufford Park is sure to have a wonderful experience, enjoy!

This was our first visit and I have no doubt we will visit again when in Suffolk.

For a romantic spa stay, this was the worst, dated, unclean, cheap hotel. The shower had big sewerage smell, was blocked so the bathroom flooded 2 min in to showering, maintenance and cleaning came to sort but were in our room while we were trying to get ready for our evening. The espresso machine was clogged and flooded the desk area. The gym changing area was worse than a council gym, no shampoo, no conditioner, no shower gel even!! the pool was out of action and I specifically chose this hotel for the gym and pool as I am a personal trainer, havent had a weekend off work since October 2023 and love to keep fit and active on rare weekends away for special occasions such as this. The breakfast was cheap and basic, white or brown cheap economy bread, one coffee machine that had a queue at the entire hour we were at breakfast.
4.2
No cash accepted.
Hot glasses put in cold water to cool -- beer put in wet glasses -- result flat beer.
Ale served at larger temperature so cold there was no taste.
Staff appeared poorly trained no scanning of customers in the restaurant.
Food very expensive quality of food average.
No impressed unlikely to book again.
4.2
The hotel was excellent, oue deluxe room large and comfortable with everything you could need, we eould recomend the hotel and we would return in the future.
4.2
Lovely location but need some updating is how I’d summarise our stay. Pool was out of service which we weren’t told about until we arrived which made the spa aspect almost redundant. Bar service was very very slow.
4.2
Stayed at Ufford Park for wedding off site. Informed 2 days before that spa was broken. Wasn’t offered any compensation but friends were offered 20% off and other perks. Place is tired. Room clean and has everything you need but basic. Restaurant/breakfast area is badly designed with things all over the place. Staff all friendly and helpful but seems really disorganised at busy periods. Lots of queues for coffee as only one machine. Food good for quality of hotel. Not really worth the money paid.
4.2
Young lady on reception is brilliant and very helpful!
4.2
Everything was lovely! Our room, the staff, food & service! All first class! The only reason for a 4 star was because the pool is still out of action as was on our last stay! Really hope it will be open again soon.
Also had some lovely treatments. The therapy rooms are lovely and its clear there has been lots of recent improvements in this area. Will definitely book treatments again.
4.2
Pleasant stay a pity the pool wasnt avaliable and had 2 single beds instead of a double. Staff pleasant service a little slow...
4.2
Lovely location. Comfortable room - lovely, genuine, helpful staff - thank you.
4.2
Spa weekend with friends. Unfortunately we were contacted the night before informing us that the pool and spa were shut. The staff were helpful and friendly and a credit to the hotel
4.2
Lovely venue. Friendly staff. Room was clean & bed was comfy.
