The landscape is beautiful. The amenities are nice. The was some wear and tear and the resort is likely going to need some updating soon. I loved the in-suite kitchen and spacious bathroom. The shower head needed upgrading but it worked. I think I could have overlooked all of those things except for the fact that my bedroom lights didnt work which was frustrating trying to get dressed for an evening out. I rates higher because of the service, which was excellent. The spa was overpriced and the the massage was mediocre.

the ground was kept in an impeccable condition. the lights on the resort at night looked beautiful. The rooms can take some updating.

The property is in a beautiful setting however, it needs some updates. Service was horrendous. Only one server at the crowded pool, no one ever answered the front desk phone, staff was rude and acted put out when I finally got ahold of them for extra towels. They charge high rates because they know they can. I can’t say what we paid for equals what we received.

It's very convenient for mountain walks, bike and hiking trails and white water rafting.
The spa treatments are outrageously expensive compared to similar hotels with spas. I was also disappointed in the dining options both in-room and at hotel restaurants which seem to just cater for families.

Stayed for two nights. Plenty of amenities to enjoy. We enjoyed the pool with the bar. The food at the breakfast buffet was great! The food at Sandy’s pub was really good. We utilized the free shuttle to and from the Palisades and the drivers were amazing.

Everything was good, the only downside is the restaurant, bar, and pool close too early. Would have loved to eat at Six Peaks Grille, but it closes at 8:30pm.

This was an almost perfect place. From the rooms to the view and all the activities available. The only downside was the food.

Beautiful property. Just a few things felt a little outdated. Most of the staff were very friendly, kind, informative but there were a couple that could have done better and helped me feel more accommodated.

Beautiful property! July 4 was a busy weekend, but the staff were amazing. By the pool Hannah was amazing. Checked in with us every time she walked by. She was friendly, professional and always went above and beyond! Jess was amazing too! Always there when things needed to be done! Housekeeping came every day and did an amazing job! We ate in the buffet every day. Dumplings were delicious! All the staff pitched in to provide excellent service. We also loved Sandy’s Pub!

Great stay but very uncomfortable sofa bed and I’m pretty sure our room had bugs or bed bugs. We all came back bit and itchy

Property’s Huge!! Really nice, clean, friendly staff and people. Lots of activities for couples and kids. Hotel dining was decent food wasn’t the best and pricy. Hotel also has a $50 parking fee and addition $30 overnight fee. I feel a hotel of its category and pricing should already offer/include parking with booking. But other than that it’s an experience I’d recommend.

The Resort is beautiful but too hyped up too expensive just to stay here. There is nothing special about the swimming pool or walking trails. I arrived at 530 my room was not ready the check in person was not at all sorry about it all he said was ur room is not ready but by the time u park ur car hopefully it will be. This person did not tell me how to get to the parking place or how to come back in very unprofessional. None of the employees smile or try helping you with anything. There is a cafe inside the Resort water is 9.00 . No amenities offered. Will not ever stay here again and will make sure friends dont stay.

we had to wait 30 minutes to get our table cleared and menus handed out. I am a super patient person but, that was bad. Good food and friendly servers and management. We will give them another try down the road.

The site is located in one of the most beautiful parts of the Sierras. We were there on business pouring our wines for a benefit tasting. The frustrating part was we were locked in to a price 7 days before starting and the rate went down almost 150 dollars we couldn't get a response from Hotels.com and the hotel would make no adjustment

This is a beautiful resort. The views were amazing. The staff and service were great. Were there a day where restaurants were closed. The bar option was acceptable. Be aware there are plenty of mosquitoes. The staff is great to remind you about the mosquitoes. You don’t make bad decisions like eating dinner on the patio at sunset.
We will be going back

The lobby was open and had spectacular views!

Beautiful resort in a secluded area with the designed facilities that naturally blend in to the environment. There is a chair lift right next to the guest rooms. Shops with cute clothing items are pretty cool too.

We stayed for a night and the staff was very friendly. We got early check/in and a complementary late checkout. Please mind that this was off season so they were probably operating under capacity and were able to give us these options. Food was a little pricey but tasted good. Great staff and pool amenities.

Young lady checking us in was very uninterested in the difficulties walking long distances for my husband, who has Parkinson’s. She did suggest getting a wheelchair from the valet, and then she put us in the last room / farthest away, on the 4th floor…

For the money, this property has so much to offer. My son and I flew in for the last weekend of ski season. We paid less than $300 for our room. We skied, swam, rode bikes, rode the water slide, etc. Because the ski in and ski out lift was closed because it was so late in the season, there was a very convenient shuttle every 30 minutes.
I have stayed at very high end posh resorts. This property is as gorgeous as any. Truly breathtaking. One would expect a property like this to be a Four Seasons or Ritz. Again, for the money, this resort could not be beat.
For those used to Four Seasons’ like resorts temper your expectations. The customer service is run of the mill mediocre Hyatt. Dont expect your room to be tidied unless you request. There are signs all over with the number to send texts for the concierge. The first time, it took them 30 minutes to respond. I sent the second one at 630 am this morning. It is now 145 pm, we are at the airport, and still no response. LOL. But again, I paid less than $300 and would expect to pay $800 of at a Four Seasons.
With service expectations properly adjusted, we would absolutely come back again. It was a pleasant surprise to stay at such a spectacular property at this rate . . . even though umbrellas were nearly nonexistent at the pool and we had to get our own drinks.

It’s a very beautiful resort with 3 restaurants, pools and jacuzzi. Not to forget the spa!! We loved the grounds, biking and hiking pathways. Our suite was clean but didn’t feel upgraded. The beds, furniture had an old feel and so was the case with hallway carpets. Otherwise it’s a wonderful property.

Love the amenities. Didn’t like that there was a bed bug upon our arrival. Plus a woman woke us up screaming her lungs out this morning at 6 ish am.

Beautiful property. Enjoyed the walking trails. Front desk hit or miss on friendliness. Close to ski resort and Tahoe City. Enjoyed having kitchenette. Rooms a bit dated but very well kept and clean. Would definitely stay here again. Beautiful spa and fitness area.
