The room smelled and didn't have tissues or cups. I put on the heat and it made the room smell bad. Had to turn it off. The halls are in need of repair and overall appearance was poor. Also would not let me check in early which was a first for me. Other hotels always let me check in if the room was clean.

When I arrive to my room, there were roaches running around and a foul smell. We immediately left. When I tried to get a refund they told me I would have to call Expedia. Expedia has been trying to get in touch with them, they won’t answer phone, now manger has said I can’t get a refund. I will b calling the health department, public housing and making a complaint with Wyndham corporate offices. No, I didn’t get any photos, I ran out. I don’t sleep or stay with roaches. When I approached the desk, I told her what happened and she didn’t seem surprised.

We had to go here because of Hurricane Milton. If every place around was not booked up i would have walked out as soon as i walked in front doors and saw how filthy it looked. The bathrooms off the lobby were like going into a sketchy gas station bathroom that are outside you know the kind that never are cleaned. They had no paper towels and it had a hotel bar of soap placed on the wrapper for the soap. It was really dirty the toilet also was loose and leaky. A different customer said thet saw a roach in there. The room key cards kept having to get reset in order to work for all the customers because every day at check in and check out they reset all the room access and therefore it blocks your key card from working twice a day even though you made your reservations for a 2 night stay it resets everybodys room keys regardless of how long your stay was. The room we had was clean enough i felt ok sleeping in there but i would not use the bathroom without my shower shoes just because even though it was not gross it was not the kind of clean you expect. It was subpar clean. The "free" breakfast consisted of room temp potatoes and brown and serve type sausage links toast and bagels and a waffle maker. No eggs no fruit. So we get there when they say breakfast starts and you would expect at least at that time the creamers and plastic ware would be refilled. They never were refilled. Always only 4 individual creamers left a few forks etc. Plates were foam so cant microwave food.

We tried to get an early check-in but didn't know that it was not available until we arrived. We did receive our deposit back but it was disappointing we didnt know sooner. The room was another issue, #234 was very dilapidated, however we were going to tough it out as it was Gameday and we were in a rush, but my wife ended up killing 4 roaches before making a thorough analysis of the room and found other issues that help us decide that it was not habitable for us, especially with a 7 month old. We ended up moving to another hotel.

This hotel was terrible. So many things wrong: sheets looked dirty, no trash can in room, trash can outside was overflowing, tv didnt work, roaches in room, near lobby smelled like weed, breakfast was a bagel - no juice, no fruit, nothing in the breakfast fridge. Very disappointed. Dont stay here.

Got there, people smoking dope in the parking lot. Went to check in, they told us they overbooked and had cancelled our reservation. Thank god, because my wife wouldn’t have slept on the sheets. Unbelievable. Looked likes hotel for homeless people.

The hotel is old and dirty. It needs to be torn down or completely renovated. I paid for early check in and there was no early check in. They are obviously understaffed, I literally had to stand around and wait to checkout because the only employee was literally doing everything. And it was expensive!!!

Room dirty. No smoke detector, just wire. Dark and garbage unemptied in hall.

The picture they used to promote the room was taken right after it must have been painted with professional lighting brought in. The rooms are better than the outside looks, but it's still pretty low quality. Better than the worst in Gainesville, but far far away from your average expectations of a hotel. It's a motel, not a hotel.

The hotel was very dirty. The lobby was run down and I had to wait for 20 minutes for someone to come to the desk for check in. Unlikely to stay at a Baymont again.

DO NOT STAY HERE! The staff was extremely rude & didn’t care that our room was filthy, they actually asked us “then why are staying here if it’s that bad?” When asked for a new room, they said they were oversold and we could sleep outside in our car. Staff showed no empathy! The furniture was falling apart & the bathroom had black mold all over the ceiling. The towels had pubic hairs all over them & when asked for new towels we were told no. There seemed to be some shady business going on outside our room, making it feel very unsafe. I will not be staying here again!

I recently tried to stay at this hotel in Gainesville, Florida, and it was the worst experience ever. The place was completely unsafe, and my room was never ready. The bathroom was filthy with stains on the sheets, and there were bed bugs under every layer of sheets. When I showed them a picture, they told me to contact Expedia for a full refund, but they only tried giving me $50.After contacting them they tried telling me the hotel is convinced that it was just a aunt. This was not an aunt there were a bunch of them all over the sheets and even if it was an aunt it's disgusting and deserves a full refund. THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN! I never spent the night in the room and had to sleep in my car. I'm beyond disappointed. This place was unsafe and the dirtiest place I've ever seen. The smell was unbearable, the bathroom downstairs was leaking water everywhere, the lights were dim, and the person at the front desk was the rudest person to speak with. Avoid this place at all costs!

Positives:
Shower was hot,
AC was cold.
Negatives:
Cracks in the exterior of every pillar we walked past,
Pool had a strange film on top of the water and looked stagnant enough to breed mosquitos,
Floodlights outside our room and no curtains meant it was bright enough to read a book by with all interior lights off,
Fridge did not work,
A burst pipe flooded the lobby and delayed our check-in by two hours,
The computer system double-charged us for the room,
Desk manager never checked us into the computer system, an oversight discovered when another couple was given keys to and entered our room, and oh yeah,
COCKROACHES IN THE ROOM!
I understand that this was a college football weekend, which would explain the $300 charge for one night anywhere else... which is exactly where you should stay.

Roaches in our room, torn lamp shades in room, green pool, property in state of general disrepair! Do not stay here!

Simply put, this was single worst place I’ve ever stayed at. This includes a German youth hostel that had to be entered behind a dumpster. Mold/mildew, live bugs, flooring warped and separated, and the list goes on. I could share additional facts, but I think the point has been conveyed. I should have been paid to stay here, not the other way around.

Absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Will never stay there again. Filthy. The lobby was dirty, the elevator was old and dirty inside, the hallway to the room was dirty and the room was absolutely filthy and the bed sheets didn’t look clean. The shower was gross and the water didn’t drain. I booked two nights and stayed 1. Absolutely disgusting.

Looks more like a motel than a hotel, during my stay there were a few individuals walking around the building and it looked like they were scoping the area, didn’t feel safe at all, people hanging out in the parking lot and sitting on side walks

Refrigerator did not work. No outlet for the microwave. Coffee pot was disgusting, grounds left in it and full of mold. No fan in the bathroom, made the entire room very damp and musty. A lot of tenants live there full time. Pool was very dirty and had items of clothing in it. Athletic room was used for storage of olld mattresses. Breakfast very limited and k

This use to be a pretty nice hotel, with a great breakfast, over the years it has declined into a long-term motel. Needs lots of repairs to many to mention. Not worth the price anymore. Sorry to see.

This place should just be bulldozed. Absolutely filthy and more of a large crack house than a hotel. We checked in and were very concerned given the filthy entrance and lobby. And it only went downhill from there. We checked out five minutes after checking in. You would be better off just pitching a tent under a highway overpass. Also, the manager was nowhere to be found.

That was the worst situation I've ever seen in a hotel. It should be condemned!

Staff was nice, that was the only good thing. Dirty dirty dirty! Cockroaches, the floors were filthy , the bed sheets had stains, cracked floors, doors, walls. “Safety” lock doors at the entrances of the hotels did not work. The elevator felt like it was going to crash and then was down for a day. They allow pets and with the paper thin walls I could hear people’s dogs bark FOR HOURS throughout the night. My hair dryer broke and they had no replacements, trashes around the hotel was stacked up and never taken out. I wish I could have left but I already paid and was in town for a lecture for the weekend.

I used Expedia to reserve my room, i reserved the executive room, 400 sq ft with king bed. When I arrived they asked me if I meant to reserve a handicapped room and then told me the only room they had available was a small room with two double beds. It wasn't bad, and we were able to make it work, but it wasn't at all what I paid for. The breakfast was ok but if you aren't in the dining room when they put it out, forget about it because they aren't making more. My room was on the third floor and my wife and I thought the elevator ride up to our room was going to be our last, when the elevator reached the third floor it started bucking and groaning like the cables were about to snap. Scared the hell out of us! The following morning we went down and got coffee and took the "Elevator of Doom" back up to our room, and yes, it started jumping all over the place again, the coffee spilled everywhere and we both received burns on our hands from the coffee. So hopefully they get that fixed before a kid gets hurt on it.

Very dirty. People were living in the hotel and it showed. Not a nice place to stay, especially for a vacation. Stay somewhere else. Mold in shower. Scuffs on walls. Baseboards of the room looked like they had never been cleaned. Guy was passed out drunk in his car with his door open in the parking lot. Photos online are not accurate. No one was ever at the front desk. Called and went down there two different times. It was so dirty we thought we brought home bed bugs.

I like that the parking area are lit and with cameras. Property is old and in need of some huge repairs and cleaning. Poor customer service. We asked for extra pillows and was told that someone will bring it over to our room but none showed up. The first room that was assigned to us was still dirty, has not cleaned yet by the house keeper. The second room still has used towel hanging behind bathroom door. Never again.

Our room had dirty towels left on the floor and the towels in the bathroom had stains, trash all around the property, it is a shame that this place would be associated with Wyndham
