I expected little from a 2 star hotel but was pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious and clean and comfortable.

There was no hot water at night or in the morning. The hallway had a horrible smell.

In fairness our stay occurred right after Hurricane Helene ravaged western North Carolina so things were not normal. My mom's house was without power for 2 weeks and this was the first hotel we stayed at. The internet was down, for which I don't hold them accountable. The thing that I got upset about was the check-in process. Their computers weren't working- which I also don't hold against them- and the clerk was checking people in using the phone. Initially he rejected my attempt to check in saying I needed to use the same credit card I booked with, which I was. I had to pull up my booking on the phone to prove it. Then, when he was checking me in with someone over the phone, he was shouting out my credit card number in the lobby where there were other patrons standing around. This made me really uncomfortable and I will most likely will have to have the card replaced. The check-in process took about a half hour. That said, the hotel was clean, the room was comfortable. It's right next door to a Waffle House and a Hooters and another hotel. It's easy to get to and has plenty of parking. It was relatively quiet.

This is supposed to be a 4 star hotel and believe me they charge as if it were, but…The stairs to the second floor were filthy with food spills and trash. My room was old with a few poorly constructed updates that allowed dirt to fill the crevices. The floors in the bathroom were sticky. The bed was somewhat comfortable but the pillows smelled of dirt and sweat. I tried to pull up the bottom sheet to check for bedbugs, but the mattress cover shredded as I lifted it. I wanted to have ice for my water, but the ice machine was filthy as well. I took a picture of the ice shoot to see if it was clean, but no, it was thick with black mold. And to top it off, I woke up to a large water bug crawling toward me on the floor. If I hadn’t just driven for 12 hours and exhausted, I absolutely would’ve gone somewhere else. It’s a shame that they take advantage of weary travelers that way. I told the front desk and didn’t even get an apology.

It's an old hotel with paint to cover old stuff. You can see the oldness along floor and wall, especially in the bathroom. The shower head position is very low, about 5 ft. Water splashing between the shower door and the shower tub onto the floor. The floor under the tub must has been rotted because when you're in the tub, it feels smushy under your feet and feel like you're going to fall through the floor.

Never again. I arrived at night as a single female traveler and immediately felt sketched out. There was someone at the front desk complaining that someone tried to break in their room the night before. The room itself was gross and extremely damp. The carpet, the bed, everything was damp. The smell was awful. The bathroom and carpet had gross stains everywhere. And a random thing, they don't have full sized pillows on the bed. I'm confused because I picked this place off all of the good reviews. Don't stay here.

I stay here at least once a week and usually have no problem but this time Theo ER night lady was RUDE. The check in guy Chad was great. When I got up at 5am and went down for morning coffee the lady was snappy and snarky. I asked if there was more creamer and she said “No” I said “ this just isn’t my weekend” and she said “ EXCUSE ME?” Sheesh lady. Go get some sleep.

Is a motel for one night if you are passing around the area and you need to sleep, Customer service was fine and there are some fast food, restaurant around the motel which makes it convinient.

The bathrooms are phone booth size. Our room ok. My son's room : (1) Toilet did not flush ( no water ), (2) old food in the fridge, (3) phone disconnected, (4) tv would not turn on, (5) no toilet paper, (6) no shower curtain. Management had to visit room 3 times as these issue were discovered, interrupting chill time on all occasions. Desk would not offer compensation because we booked through a third party. Not what we paid for for sure !

The hair dryer in the bathroom had yellow gunk all over it, our bed spread had stains all over it, everything was dusty, shower was very nasty, the lady that checked us in said they had a military discount but wouldn't give it to my husband even though he is active duty, then proceeded to charge us an extra $50 for what? She never told us what it was for. Overall wasn't good, wouldn't go there until everything was super clean. Nobody wants to sleep with sheets that have stains on it or use a hair dryer with god knows what on it.

My room had a live roach in it as well as droppings in a whole different area of the room. Took pictures showed the staff pictures waited the whole 2 nights just to be told they would not give me a refund because we didn’t want to move to another room. Who wants to move to a different room after traveling almost 10 hrs with 2 service dogs on top of luggage. If one room is infested then the whole property is infested. I have evidence in my pictures as well as with Expedia who authorized them to give me my refund. Then the front desk manager was rude about it! I’m not happy I want my refund for both nights as well as we didn’t even stay the first night because we got there way after midnight so we only stayed 1 night. We are extremely passed unhappy and frustrated. This is unacceptable. Won’t ever book with them or Expedia again for any hotel stays won’t be staying in a hotel for a trip again.

I liked that I felt very safe. The room was clean and orderly every day. The hotel was very convenient to my meeting place and the directions were very simple.
The hair dryer did not work and had to be replaced. The air conditioning did not cool the room unless you set the thermostat much higher than you wanted. Very few handicapped parking spaces. I do not appreciate having to pay for a reservation I made for the wrong date. I think that should be forgiven if I keep a reservation on different
dates.

Bathtub didn’t drain at all so we stood in 6 inches of water during a shower. The bed had a huge sunken area on one side, making it very uncomfortable. The breakfast was very sparse not many options at all and they were out of some items by the time we got there at 8 AM.

Front desk check in and check out were both easy and pleasant. Bed super comfortable. AC worked great. Felt safe as a single woman in a hotel. The only thing was the breakfast was BAD> Old apples, fake eggs and under cooked sausage and for yogurt they had ACTIVIA, that stuff is to make you go to the bathroom, ughhhh,,cheap.
