Amazing location with paradise-like pool, beach, bar, restaurant. Staff is wonderful. Delicious breakfast, afternoon tea and cocktails included. Small things below what's expected in this category: weak AC, slow shuttle, limited TV options

Beautiful location.

Excellent hotel. All rooms fab
Slightly let down by only having one evening restaurant and not enough choice on menu. Food was good rather than excellent
But rest of hotel is superb

Location is amazing with a stunning beach front but this rather shabby hotel is in urgent need of a complete refurb. Neither restaurant offers good food or choices - at breakfast there were no berries nor fresh juice despite being on the menu. A late delivery of just grapefruit arrived only just in time for a small glass. My fish carpaccio at dinner looked and tasted like veal and the duck overdone. The room was spacious but also in need of updating and despite your claim that we had booked a room with a bath, none of the rooms come with baths. We would only consider returning once the promised new rooms are built. Apart from the beach front area this was disappointing.

Overall care of guests was top quality, food and accommodation excellent

We've had a difficult few months and needed a place to recharge our batteries. We found the perfect place! Beautiful beach inviting to just beeeing - ordering cappuccinos and pina coladas and several times we opted to eat our lunch on the beach rather in the restaurant (which is on the beach anyway). It's so lovely and the staff are so friendly and helpful. We really loved our stay and our two sons (19 and 14) enjoyed borrowing the paddling boards and kayak. There's a free boat to Nelson's Dockyard or in the evening it's $10 american dollars for a taxi. We swapped dinner for lunch a couple of times and went out for dinner instead of eating in the hotel.

Fab staff in a great beach location. Food is mediocre at best and it needs imaginative management and some investment. Will look elsewhere next time. Instant coffee in the rooms at this price?

I stayed for a week on my own. The room was enormous, very nicely furnished and with a large balcony. The food on site was great, although a little overpriced. The beach I beautiful and private. I would consider staying again.

The Inn was absolutely delightful! Spent a 7 days there for our honeymoon and it was perfect in every way for what we wanted.
The suite was impeccably clean and housekeeping service was regular (minimum 2x a day; more or less if requested).
We had half board which covered all you can eat breakfast (included hot food and continental) and one of lunch or dinner (either of which was a full 3-course). Menu is varied enough that my wife and I had something different off the menu for each course every day.
The service during meals and on the property was among the best, if not the very best, I have ever received in my stays across.
Could not recommend this place more strongly. Ideal for couples looking for a quiet getaway.
Note: we travelled in July, which is during the slow season and so it wasn't busy at the Inn. We appreciated this.

Overall, gorgeous rooms, setting, and grounds. Staff was overall very attentive. 99% of occupants were from UK, with lots of returning customers. If you are looking for great beach experience, this is not the place to go. Also, average age was probably 70 yo -- not a place for newlyweds/younger generation.

My husband and I just got back from the Inn and it was absolutely beautiful! The room is extremely clean and the food is very good (this coming from a very picky person). The staff is very friendly and willing to accommodate your needs. The only downside is that the food can be pricey and you can run up your bill up if you aren't on a meal plan! Overall it was a great experience and a great honeymoon :)

An amazing, chilled out 5 star resort. The staff are very friendly, extremely well trained and attentive to your every need.
You will not be disappointed staying here.

We have very mixed feelings about the Inn. It's in a lovely location and most of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful but it's very stuffy, has some silly rules and the service was very patchy for a 5 star hotel.
It started with the shuttle service which you are totally reliant on to get to the reception. The first two days we called it it just didn't arrive and we had to chase it up 15 minutes later when it was obvious that they had just forgotten us. I read the hotel services book and it said that ladies had to wear dresses for dinner (who knew?). Having packed only a few dresses and expecting to wear silky evening trousers I called reception just to check that would be ok. I was told it would not be ok and that the hotel prides itself on its elegance so only dresses for ladies and long trousers for men. I wasn't too happy about that but imagine my surprise when we arrived for dinner and there was a table of 20 all of whom were wearing shorts (both sexes) and polo shirts (both sexes). I realise it was Sailing Week but why was the receptionist so adamant that I couldn't wear silky evening trousers!! Then when we asked to be shown to our table they didn't in fact have one set up for us even though we had booked for 8pm so one was hastily set up that was on a slope so was rocking around and was much smaller than all the others. It wasn't a great start to our first dinner at the Inn!
No space for any more detail but I think you can get the general gist!

This hotel is beautiful, quiet and calm. Rooms are great, food is good and the beach is just amazing. Definitely going back to this place.

The hotel is in a beautiful location, and our room was lovely. However, the quality of food in the main restaurant, and somewhat inconsistent standards of overall service lets it down.

We spent our honeymoon at The Inn. It was exactly what we needed - slightly tucked away, well maintained beach, lovely pool, great food, great staff. We stayed in a beach cabana, which is literally on the beach. Although the room is quite small, it was more than sufficient - the view and proximity to the beach more than made up for it. I highly recommend The Inn to anyone looking for a relaxed or romantic getaway. I would definitely go back.

This has to be one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at and I certainly hope to return.
In a quiet secluded location yet only a short complimentary boat ride to Nelson's Dockyard one of the main sightseeing attractions on Antigua. Only a small hotel so service is very personal. It has everything one could wish for.

Stayed at the Inn during a visit to the island for the Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta. This is a small, quaint resort with an intimate feel. My suite was spacious, lovely and well-maintained. The resort staff went out of their way to ensure guests' needs were attended to and offered helpful suggestions for activities. It appears many of the Inn's guests are families and couples that return year after year. The amenities aren't elaborate like you might find at a larger resort, but if you want a hassle-free, relaxing stay with great service, I'd highly recommend the Inn.

The Inn at English Harbour is situated in an ideal position if you want to get away from crowds and relax. It shares its priavte beach with a neighbouring complex of single apartments, although the beach directly in front of the hotel is for Inn residents and guests only. No vendors on this beach. The surrounding area is very hilly and a car makes travel much easier although the hotel arranges taxis very easily. Shirley Heights and Nelsons Dockyard are minutes away.
The food was very good but the menu somewhat limited, we stayed a week and so the menu may change. The staff were very friendly and certainly contributed to the overall enjoyment of our stay. The hotel offer a free water taxi to Nelsons Dockyard, which is a must for lunch.
We wanted a week of quiet and relaxation which is exactly what we got.

The Inn at English Harbor is one of the nicest places I've ever stayed. Quiet and private, with lush grounds, beautiful semi-private beach, terrific restaurant. Room was large and well appointed, with a large private deck. Highly recommended.

The Hotel over time, has been re-done to good effect. The service was friendly and the atmosphere relaxed. The hotel itself is in two levels, requiring transportation up and down a hill which was promptly provided. Although the hotel could use better internet and phone services, the main purpose is to relax and the hotel works.

The Inn at English Harbour is a really nice hotel, with a great setting on a fantastic cove. The hotel staff are really friendly, the food is delicious and the beach bar is a great place for lunch and a cheeky daiquiri in the late afternoon. The pool is really nice, although the tarmac round the edge needs some renovation. There is access to sailboats and kayaks as well. The restaurant menu could be a bit more varied but given the hotel is only 5 mins by cab to Nelson's Dockyard, this is not really a problem. A great hotel and relative to other venues we saw really good value for money

Have never been made to feel more welcome - especially our children [3yrs and 7months respectively] who recieved special attention. Although we were the only couple at the hotel with children we felt completely at ease thanks to the caring attitude of every member of staff. Our stay couldn't have been more pleasant.
