From the ferry ride we received a text informing us the hotel had a driver at the dock to pick us up.
At check in we received Rockstar treatment.
The room (we have 3) are all clean bright and well decorated.
The restaurant is fantastic.
The beach and pool are both nice and well staffed.
We decided to extend another day to enjoy the property a little longer.

Very quiet

The property is very dated for the price you pay and the gym is unusable and should not be advertised. It smells and has no air conditioning. Breakfast quality is average but the restaurant staff are lovely.

It was a older hotel and it did NOT deserve
a 5-star rating

We had a lovely stay at punta molino! So Nice to have a own space at the beach. Super good service! The hotel feels a bit old, but very fresh and luxury. Perfect for a couple of days in Ischia.

Love the Island of Ischia and booked the Punta Molino not knowing it. The hotel was great. Their staff were helpful and attentive from the beach staff to the concierge. The rooms were constantly cleaned and the views at breakfast spectacular. The hotel is located a 5 min walk from the main strip, but is tucked away in it's own grounds so it feels calm and secluded, perfect for a romantic get away.

First, I need to note that the people are very nice . Sadly it’s an older hotel with old everything to match. Hard bed. A/C won’t go below 80°! And shades don’t block light. Even though I got a free upgrade, I left early. Also the absolute worst massage. It was free and I still ended it early. Was just a woman quickly rubbing oil on me. So uncomfortable. Asked for deep and she said she didn’t do that the hotel itself looks like it was beautiful 50 years ago. And hasn’t changed since.

So. There were definitely positive aspects - the service was mostly excellent, and the grounds of the hotel were lovely- from the gardens to the pool to the beach. Breakfast was also quite nice. The decor of the hotel was hard to get past - very tired, old 1960s kitsch. The gym was also Spartan and had no A/C. The biggest issue was that my room smelled strongly of smoke- it was clearly deeply embedded in the sad old furniture, because the hotel had just reopened and the smell was strongest after I came home from dinner and the maids had closed the door to the balcony. When I asked to switch rooms, the front desk said that the smell was merely from a nearby guest smoking on an adjacent balcony- which was clearly not the case. Also, the A/C didn’t seem to work.
If this property had a major renovation, it would have a ton of potential- until then, I’d skip it.

Breathtaking view.. very convenient location, nice beach area, very friendly staff, great breakfast and bar menus. Dinner a la carte has room for improvement

Property has an amazing location which quiet and close to everything you need at the same time. Hotel needs some renovations to be better aligned with 5-star property. Food in the restaurant for dinner wasn’t good and it was impossible to find a la cart menu in English. Bar options and breakfasts are really good. Personnel of the hotel is amazing and trying to make our stay as pleasant as possible

Beautiful hotel right on a small beach. Each morning, I enjoyed a delicious breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea, then took a flight of stairs down to the beach to go swimming. Very friendly helpful staff. Beautiful immaculate room with comfortable beds. Wonderful AC -- I was actually too cold but left it like this, enjoying the option to be cold :)

Punta Molino was a wonderful place to stay! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious with wonderful options and the grounds are lovely. The only caveat to a 5-star review would be for the spa. I got a “rest and relaxation” massage and it felt like the masseuse was just rubbing oil on me with no pressure. She didn’t speak English but I tried to gesture and use as many Italian words as possible to explain that I wanted her the apply more pressure to no avail. It was the worst massage I’ve ever had. She also started the massage with me on my stomach on the table with a pillow propped up for me to lay my head on. This made me have to turn my face to one side and crooked my neck up in an uncomfortable, hyperextended position. I finally took out the pillow and figured out a way to lay my head straight down, but the first few minutes were awful. I don’t know if this is just how Italian massages are or if it was the specific type of massage I got, but i would definitely steer clear of that one. Another thing to note is that the crowd is definitely an older one....most guests were 60+. This definitely isn’t a party hotel so if that’s what you’re looking for, stay elsewhere.

The staff were incredible and couldn’t make you feel more welcome & pools were lovely. Would definitely recommend staying here. Ischia itself is a quiet island, which is exactly what we were looking for with great food and wine and the locals are warm & welcoming.

amazing spa; small beach but nice sea. Great garden, quier

Excellent location, but very tired. Hotel hasn’t been renovated for decades. No key cards for your rooms, just old fashion keys which you suppose to return to front desk. The beach is very small , and I mean VERY small . A lot of nice spots get prebooked by the people who are checked in before you, and they get to keep it till the end of their stay.
When I tried to complain about it , the response was that it’s not Miami Beach. The average age of hotel guests is over 60. And that’s sets the tone .
The receptionist Yelena was great and very helpful

No hot water in bathroom on several occasions. Went unshaven on last day.Wi-fi not operational 3 days of the stay. Lovely thermal swimming pool spoilt by poor cleanliness. Floor not swept/washed for 3 days with plastic wrapping debris/muddy footprints left unattended. Spa looking a little jaded.Service absolutely superb especially in restaurant and front desk. Lovely locale with delightful views from small secluded beach area. Easy stroll down to the harbour and fabulous food. Delightful gardens. Secluded area. A very restful and enjoyable holiday.

This hotel does not deserve to be considered a 5 star, not even a 4 star. It is a 3 star at best. Although there are some good features about this hotel the problems outweigh the good. -the newly washed towels always smell like rancid oil. -you cant take a comfortable shower because the water temperature is constantly getting much hotter than you set it and then much colder and this continues throughout every shower you take. -the so called spa has one worker on site. We booked a manicure for my girlfriend and a pedicure for myself, which we asked to have simultaneously done at 12 pm and when we arrived the spa was empty. When the lady finally arrived she informed us that it would be one after the other. We didnt have the time do we cancelled the appointments. -the safes in our room and another couples room traveling with us were not screwed down to anything, therefore not offering any sense of security. -on one of the days the maid turned down my a/c and left my balcony door unlocked and partially opened. -on my last night there my a/c stopped working. All in all I was glad to be leaving from my 4 night trip to Ischia. I would not stay here again and not recommend this hotel to anyone. The hotel does have a couple of good service oriented people that Id like to mention. Ciro, the gentleman that picked us up in the shuttle at the port and Martina that works in the outdoor bar.

Didn't enjoy our stay - found reception rude and unhelpful . No point in getting a premium room as u will be disturbed by the music unless you are in bed after 11.30 then the breakfast tables get laid at 6.30 so u are wide awake again . I will say lovely room and view but no
sleep. Like being back in the 80s when people get up at the crack of dawn to put books towels etc on the beds even though some don't even turn up during the day. Very amusing island itself is perfect and position of hotel is good they just need to make more of an effort to some guests

VERY GOOD HOTEL. CONVENIENT LOCATION. BEAUTIFUL SERVICE. The staff was wonderfully attentive, not imposing.
A buffet breakfast was served on the terrace and offered all possible variety of products. All products are fresh and delicious and the restaurant service is superb. The room was amazing with a nice balcony and a beautiful view.
The hotel overlooks its own private beach with ample chaise longue, overlooking the neighboring island of Procida and the impressive Castle of Castello Aragones. In the evening, at the piano bar, we had the opportunity to listen to very talented musicians and got a real pleasure from their singing.
In general, the atmosphere was relaxed everywhere, and all the staff were immaculately presented and friendly. We always had help from employees on any questions and advice. Thanks to all the hotel's STAFF for their attention to us. Thanks to them, we had one of the best vacation and we will definitely return to our next summer.
The best recommendations for all.

Nice hotel right on the beach with everything you could ask for. You choose between the pools and the beach. Spa and restaurant on site. The breakfast in the morning was very good. Had a clean room that was quiet and away from the front part of the hotel.

Wonderful hotel/spa on the coast with termal water open pool, next to a regular pool and with other termal facilities. The rooms are spacious and many with terraces. Cleanliness is excellent. The ample surrounding grounds are very well kept as a garden/park.The in house restaurant is first rate and there are other very good restaurants very close by.Prices are adequately high but well worth the experience.

We had a great holiday, hotel room was great although just standard room.
Nearby on the port is very good fish restaurants. Also the beach restaurant next door to the hotel is great and very welcoming. The Waltons garden is well worth a visit (Mortella)

We had a very enjoyable week at the hotel in mid September. Weather was great. Very friendly staff, nice location. Hotel very comfortable in a slightly old fashioned style. We were half board and had very nice evening meals - first course of four is an amazing buffet, followed by a served pasta course and a main course and then a sweet buffet. Nice beach and plenty of sun beds to go round. The pool attendants will keep the same beds for you each day so you don't have to get up early with the beach towels! Would go back again.

A fine hotel with many good features, helpful friendly staff, good setting, nice pools and reasonable private beach But dont stay here if you want peace and quiet It seems hotel policy to have random music in the terrace restaurant and even in the spa areas; music emanating from the outdoor restaurant is very loud late at night. Considering its meant to be a spa hotel for peace and tranquillity their music policy is bizarre. The rooms have an antiquated air conditioning system which pipes stale cigarette smoke from one room into another and a rather noisy plumbing system The private transfer arranged by the hotel from Naples airport to the hotel arrived 90 minutes late with no apology or discount offered by the hotel In summary a good and friendly hotel if you are not sensitive to piped music and outdoor restaurant music late at night. But if you want real tranquillity try somewhere else

Charming holidaymakers island But its a certain type of holiday, no Macdonalds & 'pub row' here, instead exclusive boutiques, great ice-creams & the chance to see & be seen in a constant stream of fancy outfits. If you like wearing earings on the beach - favour sparkly tops and high heels, love trad italian food this is the place for you. The hotel builds on this with old fashioned charm - waiters in white dinner jackets. Everyone has Half-Board and settles down to a 4 course meal each evening, and heres the complicated bit - if you want this type of experience, truely the hoteliers style is 50's throwback (The talented Mr Ripley was filmed on Ischia) then you'll love it. But if you are looking for different dining choices 'in hotel', several lively bars on site its the wrong place for you. The hotel doesnot offer water based activities aside from pools & beach. The hotels got it right due to its v close proximity to the local shops/cafes. 3 mins from the sea with its own beach 5 mins from 'town'. We loved it.
