The employees were friendly and helpful; I won't knock them for that. My issue is the quality of the rooms. Everything had been cobgobbled together, a coat rack behind the bedroom door was hanging by one side, the window handle was missing, so they had a stick in the window slide to keep it "locked". It was just run down and janky AF. Insanely high water pressure though. Five thumbs up for that. I've been to worse hotels, but only one specifically that I can remember, and I'm 37 for reference.

Room was ok, hotel was old, parking and area a little sketchy
3.7
The property is run down and is a dump.
3.7
Newly reconditioned and job well done.

This is an economy hotel, but it met all my needs as a traveler. My room was spotlessly clean and the bed was comfortable. All I needed was a place to sleep, so the fact that the room itself isn't fancy was fine with me. It did have a microwave and a mini-fridge, which I didn't use. The breakfast choices were minimal, but enough to give me a fast start to my day. And the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was surrounded by other commercial buildings on a main road full of shopping centers, stores and chain restaurants. It was the perfect location for my travel plans: five minutes away from the Canada Duty Free entrance to the Blue Water Bridge and five minutes away from Michigan's interstate highways.

We stayed there a month or so before this trip and all went very well. The only issue we ran into this time was that there was no hot water on the second night of our stay, and again the morning we left. Grabbing a shower in cold water is not something we like to do.
3.7
Completely adequate for the price and purpose of visit. Traveling for work, 1 night stay. Arrived at 9pm, left before 7am. Front desk staff was wonderful, had waffles and coffee in the lobby for breakfast.
3.7
The person at check-in was very friendly. Our room was clean and the bed comfortable. It looks like the hotel could use a few more updates. We only needed a room for a night so it served the purpose at a reasonable price.

Convenient and super nice staff.

We really enjoyed our overnight stay in Port Huron. We loved how quiet it was. Although we didn't get to enjoy it, the courtyard was a very nice perk. Although an older hotel, the room was recently renovated and the beds were very comfortable. I liked that hotel staff was available 24/7 and tea and coffee were available 24/7 as well. One criticism I have is that I wished that the stairs leading up to the 2nd floor rooms were better lit. The person I stayed with has some vision struggles and he commented that some reflective tape on the stairs would make a huge difference. Other than that, it was great!
3.7
Disappointed there was no table and chairs in the room, despite a space for one, or a place to hang clothes. Also, the room was far from dark at night, as there was a 6 inch gap between the drapes and window, letting in light from the outside lighting. No way to block the light as there were no hangers available in a closet.
3.7
Landing pad for rehab/court ordered temp housing and vouchers. Frequent drug use/deliveries and prostitution. Sketchy sales staff and surprise arbitrary pet and checkout!/check in fees. Stay away from here.
3.7
Great place, excellent service
3.7
Faculty was decent, love that there is no smelly carpet but our floors were not mopped. Bed was very firm , but that's a personal preference thing. Had to ask for help to turn on the bathtub faucet, which they responded immediately. I think it was a fair cost for the facility. Biggest disappointment was the lack of a pool, which is advertised on there page. False advertisement, at least.
3.7
From the outside the hotel looks old but the room was large and clean. Not a lot of parking but would stay there again if in the area
3.7
This is an older property undergoing solid revisions. We stayed in the recondition suites and found them to be excellent. I do not have information on other rooms.
3.7
Upon arrival turned down bed covers and found black hair and dead bugs on the bottom sheet. Slept in other bed. At 6 AM neighbors starter talking very loudly. The building reminds one of a converted barn - walls are paper thin with zero insulation. Never got back to sleep as this continued for 1/2 hour before I yelled at them. No amenities - coffee, iron, etc. Note in bathroom stated they only provide clean towels every three days. We reserved 2 nights which we were charged for upon arrival. For all the reasons stated above, we decided to leave after one night and asked for a refund of night 2. After detailing our experience, they refused because their POLICY is no refunds without a twenty-four-hour notice. STAY AWAY!

Beautiful. Close to the beach

Place was under renovation so understandably it’s not the cleanest, but our room was in acceptable condition. We stayed for 3 nights. The courtyard looks very clean and well maintained. Staff seem genuinely polite and concerned for our satisfaction. I would stay there again for sure.
3.7
The outside of the property needs a lot of paint, cleaning, etc. the inside was a delightful surprise, our accessible room was clean, newer, well equipped, and comfortable. We will stay here again if we are in the area.
3.7
It was okay for what it was.
Staff was nice at least.
Room barely seemed like it was even cleaned and just thrown back together to look nice enough, didn’t make our stay very comfortable
3.7
All was good especially the staff Kathy was very nice and helpful. The room was nice I did notice in bathroom no towel bars or hooks at all but other than that very nice stay I would defiantly stay again.
3.7
The staff was friendly and nice. Our room however was dirty and the smoke detector was missing. I understand this isn't The Ritz, but they could at least clean enough so there isn't hair and scum build up along the floor trim in the bathroom to the point you don't want to be barefoot, have second thoughts about using the shower and strip the bed to check for bed bugs.
3.7
My stay was comfortable. For the price rooms were clean, staff friendly. Looks as though they work hard to keep up the premises.
3.7
There was only 1/4 roll of toilet paper and no spare. No hair drier. Bathroom door was dirty, but room was clean. Staff very helpful.
3.7
I had a special need patient and they were very accommodating
3.7
We had an executive suite that did not have The basic essentials like, no hair dryer, no trash can in kitchen or sitting room area, no iron or iron ironing board, there were dead bugs on window sills, we had on white socks and our socks were so dirty after 2 hours of walking the room. The Australian lady at front desk was very nice at the check in. I know we paid a lower price but this was unacceptable.
3.7
The charging ports in each bedside table did not work. All 6 of them. The bedside tables also had severe wearing where you could see pressboard under the veneer. The couch in the room was tattered with holes and the bathtub faucet was not secure and just kind of bobbed around, it made it difficult to lift the knob to turn the shower portion on. The connecting room door did not lock properly. The staff was amazing, though, and the bed comfy. Due to the overall shabbiness I won’t be returning.
3.7
The staff was great and the room looked neat and tidy. There was a very nice outdoor area with comfortable chairs for people to use. The hotel was easy to get to and close to Birchwood Mall and the other shopping and dining options there.
Unfortunately, the people staying above us were very loud, so it was difficult to sleep, even with a sound machine. We also found mould on the sheers when we opened the curtains in the morning.
3.7
Exterior of the building looked terrible, stairs were in need of paint. It was a hot day when we arrived, air conditioning was not on in the room, there was no fresh air circulating
3.7
There was mold in my room and the pillow cases smelled like piss. I am not happy with my stay and I really am upset.
3.7
Clise to shopping
3.7
Nothing special. Hot shower and a place to sleep. It was just for an overnight stay
3.7
Great suite!
3.7
No refunds having to cut stay by a day. Having to always ask for washcloths and towels. Fitted sheets did not fit beds , to small for tall mattress. But was a least comfortable. No coffee pot in room , every place we've ever stayed coffee pot is available in rooms ..Had to ask for hand soap for room.
3.7
Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
3.7
very good Thank you

Kathy and Rashed were amazingly kind and helpful at the front desk! Despite things being busy neither of them got flustered or impatient at any point in the check in/check out process.
3.7
Adequate and affordable.
3.7
For a one night stay it was comfortable and clean - we were surprised that there wasn't much of a breakfast, only coffee/hot water and pastries - not what we were expecting but it was something anyway - I had a bagel and hubby had his coffee and a muffin. We also realize a lot of the chains are r=still recovering from the pandemic and can’t get staff and supplies at a reasonable rate. Still a good one night stay for sure, easy on and off the interstate system. If in the are again, would stay.
