The check in was nice. Room was a little run down. It was priced about $50 more that Marriotts nearby that offer streaming. They had a sauna which was cool but half of the stone warmers were broken so it didn’t get that hot. I kinda wish I’d taken my money elsewhere but it was a bed.

Quick overnighter. Was very impressed with the amenities and design for the price. Was obviously a renovated old motel, but the design was so original. Bar with drinks/coffee/snacks. Activity lounge area, firepit seating. It was great. Only negative was doorjam in bathroom looked too have some water damage. But the place was perfect for my needs. Exceeded my expectations.

Appears to be an older motel that has been updated. Rooms are adequate. Beds too soft. Front office/bar is really cute and staff is very helpful.

Very comfortable place, conveniently located a short walk from campus and Pearl St. Would definitely stay here again.

Flipped. Poorly. A fresh coat of poorly applied paint does not refresh this sad motel. Would not stay again.

TOO HARD TO GET IN AND OUT OF THAT PLACE.....WEEDS AND TREES BLOCKING YOUR DRIVING VIEW..A ACCIDENT WAITING TO HAPPEN...HIGH PRICED FOR A TOILET ...SHOWER..CLOSET AND SINK ON OUTSIDE..IN THE ROOM....NASTY....

I stayed at the hotel for two nights. The staff at the hotel was exceptional! I accidentally forgot my key in the room multiple times within 10 minutes of checking in and they were happy to make duplicates of the key. On the day of check out they were also able to accommodate a later check out time which I really appreciated. The hotel is also within walkable distance to Pearl Street which has a ton of coffee shops, restaurants, and shops. It's also conveniently located to a grocery store and other chain restaurants on the other side. It couldn't be in a more ideal location! The one piece of feedback I have is I wish I knew their lounge was going to be completely closed due to all week events. I think it's something that customers should be notified of.

Fun, fabulous and friendly. Great value too. Would highly recommend!

Honestly, just pay $20 more and stay somewhere else. This place feels like an old motel with a cheap facelift (it is). Our room was a little dirty and the lights didn't work half the time?

The common areas and the vibe are great! The rooms need major renovation.

I really really wanted to like Basecamp Boulder, but I don't feel the cost reflects the experience.
Pros:
- It's a short walk to Pearl St through nice areas (10-15 minutes)
- There are places to eat nearby (Snarfburger and cafes)
- The people who work here are all super friendly and helpful. We got a lot of great recommendations for the local area
- We had a room with two queen beds which was spacious and had cute art/decor.
Cons:
- Noisy. Basecamp is an old motel with a facelift and while there was no one screaming or partying we could hear people in the room next to us who were talking at a normal volume. We could also hear/feel footsteps as people walked past the door. There was also a construction site directly behind our room. We didn't get much sleep unfortunately during out visit.
- The room needed some TLC. The paint was chipping all around the door, parts of the walls and ceiling, there was almost no silicon around the bathtub, the carpet had stains and some of the towels/linens did too.
- Other small issues include: no coffee/tea in the room, the ice maker was broken during our visit, the wifi was a bit selective of when it worked / didn't.
We paid around $650 for 2 nights which didn't feel like good value based on the experience. If this was $100 / night, the issues wouldn't matter as much but they are charging nice hotel prices for a motel experience imo.
Unfortunately, at the end of the day I think if we went back to Boulder we would stay elsewhere.

Great place to stay if you’re in town for a Colorado game! Very cute and well maintained. Some minor cons were our room didn’t come with a fridge (maybe I missed that when booking), the construction outside our window, and no hand soap in our bathroom. They give you a number to text if you have issues, but it doesn’t answer anyway so best to go to the front desk.

Very nice staff and they take pride in the establishment. We recommend this place.

Basecamp postures as fun, and it is (sort of). A makeover of the two-story motel of yore with a nice commons area, bar, fire pits, ping pong (we enjoyed), and climbing wall, typical expectations require careful management. Card-activated door lock required some finessing. Barely worked. Unreliable. Window blinds broken. Television only worked on one-channel. Coleman cooler instead of refrigerator (fun but not FUNctional/practical). Hallways smelled of dog-urine. Really wanted to like this place, the concept and its convenient location but it came up a bit short. On the plus side, staff was kind and supportive, beds were comfortable, and showers worked well.

We waited almost 30 minutes to check in. No one was at the check-in desk or the office. When you called the number provided at the front desk for service, it rang at the front desk and no one was there to answer. When someone finally showed up, she noted that she was the only person on staff at the moment in the entire facility. The manager needs to be present on site if they cannot staff the facility appropriately. This poor girl should not be expected to do the work of three or more people. She was friendly and upgraded us, which was nice, but I would not stay here again. Very poorly run. The room was not very clean. We had several bugs in our room and our sink was clogged. The carpet was dirty. It was super overpriced for basically being a cheap motel. Good location, which is about the only positive thing I can note.

Overall ok. Bummed our tv never worked and desk sent me a text with things I could try to
Get a signal.
Ice machine broke and hot tub heater broke “ a few days ago”.
Liked the convenience to CU boulder.

We had to change rooms, the power went out. These rooms are like a days inn 40 years ago. No remodeling has been done. The internet was intermittent at best, movie apps would buffer or not work at all. I had to buy $40.00 additional data from my phone carrier. I never saw a maid in the 3 nights I was there, I had to go and get towels. The only good thing was the snarf burger joint right next door, and a 10 minute drive to Pearl st mall.

Basecamp Boulder is a really great, fun property. They have a cute coffee shop that even offers drinks at night… and has fire pits & smores kits. They also have ping pong & a rock climbing wall. The rooms are spacious!

I booked this property as it was within reasonable walking distance to Peral St Mall in Boulder. The cost wasn't cheap, by any means, and the amenities fell a bit short for what I paid and envisioned. For example, when I returned in the afternoon after a full day of hiking, my room hadn't been cleaned, erc and I had no clean towels. I lumbered back to the main building to inquire about the status for cleaning and was informed that they don't make up rooms until the customer checked out. Really, I asked?? I'm here for 6 nights?! They then said that I needed to request every day if I wanted the room addressed. I informed them at that time that, yes, plan on cleaning my room every day during my stay. Again, they reiterated, in a polite manner, that I still needed to come back daily to make the request. The gal handed me towels and was on my way back to my disheveled room. When I returned back on day #2 after a long. Hot and sweaty hike, my room, once again, was unattented. I had to mope back down to the main building and the same gal was working. She appologized and said they woukd clean it tomorrow. I said, absolutely not and I would prefer it be cleaned today. To her credit, she did have housekeeping go right in to clean but I ended up waiting in my vehicle for them to complete, which was not my ideal plan. To compound matters, they were supposed to provide in room coffee for every day of my stay. After day 1,they didn't replenish it and each day I would ask, they were

Pictures make it look better than reality. All in all, it is convenient to most things - but truly just a run down motel with a little lipstick.

Cute outside, awful inside. While trying to be cute and kitschy, for the price the property was bad. No coffee in rooms and no coffee in lobby unitll 8 am. Cost be $25 to door dash coffee. Ridiculous. The carpets are worn, the decor dirty, the tub uncaulked. It just looked like an old, crummy motel - not worth the $400 a night.

I was surprised by the rock wall, ping pong table, and overall concept of a rec center at a hotel. I left wondering, "why don't all hotels have this?" Would stay here again and highly recommend to friends and family!!

If you want to meet the nicest staff in Boulder - stay here! Everyone I interacted with was lovely! The property is really cute and the rooms are really fun decorated. Feels pretty rustic but nice. My only complaint was the bathroom - it was just small, but let's be honest....how much time are you spending in your room in Boulder?

The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful! Made me feel very comfortable staying there. It's a great place to hangout at. Cozy fires at night and you can grab a drink from the bar and hangout outside. The club area is cool as well because they have a lot of games, rock climbing wall, comfy seats, pingpong, etc. I went to the hot tub in the morning and it was clean and peaceful. Rooms were clean and even came with coolers to pack drinks and ice available to fill them up. Really loved this place it was a great vibe!
