The room was disgusting. Stains on the carpet and pillow cases. Toliet seat was so worn you could see the orginal color. Desk chair top, the leather was ripped. Shaddy people coming and going through the side door that was ajar so anyone could just walk in. And a lot more!

The room was absolutely disgusting. The pictures on the site are not what it actually looks like. The are catfishing with the pictures. Place was very sketchy.

The room was very ran down. The carpets were filthy. The bed sheets were stained. The chair looked like it would collapse if you sat on it. The main room light switch didn’t work.

we tried checking in and the desk clerk said she had no reservations for us so i. called hotels they. called the hotel and tried to line it out and the hotel over booked and sold our room to someone else from the desk clerks own mouth and we had to get our money back and go elsewhere don’t ever stay here it’s nasty

Dirty bad experience bad service they treat us like a criminal or something they went and knocked in our room at 9 am and checked out it’s at 11 am I told the guy in front desk that we was staying one more night even though it was dirty but we was tired of long trip and we just wanted to rest and the guy in front desk ask for me to come downstairs with him to pay another day I told him I will as soonest I put my shoes and clothes he told me no if I want to stay one more night I have to pay now and that he will wait for me outside my room until I get my clothes and shoes I told him I was feeling uncomfortable with him outside my room that he can charge me on my card I have used that he don’t need me to go downstairs right now it’s not even check out time he told me he is going to call the cops than the cops showed up he made me feel uncomfortable we came to Topeka for my dad funeral and he treat us like a criminal so when the cops left and I pay another night one of the house cleaning guy knocked on my door and ask to talk to me than ask me if I was willing to help him out with something he needs help with I was confused and I ask what it was he ask me if I can meet him in one of the rooms I feel scare and did not feel comfortable than I close the door on him and told my husband we left from there asap bad experience will not recommend

This location does not even deserve a 1 star rating, it was so bad! Entire hotel smelled of weed (reservation was booked for a NON-Smoking room), window in room was wide open upon entering room (it was after Midnight when we checked in), room was NOT cleaned, did not have any towels in it at all & was gross to say the least. We booked this reservation last minute due to an overnight road trip for business & needed somewhere for a few hours rest & to be on the way. Ended up sleeping in truck due to the horrible conditions of this hotel. I would have requested a refund, but since it was booked last minute it was a non-refundable reservation. Would NOT recommend this hotel anyone to stay & HIGHLY UNSATISFIED!!!

There was a terrible smell in hallway and the room. I was afraid to walk in the room without my shoes on as the carpet was full of stains. The comforter had several cigarette burn holes. I was kept awake most of the night with doors slamming shut constantly and loud voices in the hallway. I had reserved for 2 nights but checked out in the morning as I left for a grief retreat (son died 2 years ago), and the guy was vacuuming the lobby and told me to just leave the card on the counter. I told him i was supposed to stay another night but chrcking out, and he acted too busy to talk. Attempted getting refunded for the 2nd night as I was paying for a reservation somewhere else that was a lot cleaner, but they refused to refund me. Don't waste your money and spend just a little more somewhere else. Have plenty of pics, but it will not let me upload any.

Filthy towels. Dangerous hair dryer, no battery in smoke detector. Brown streak on wall ??? Awful toilet seat. No drain stopper etc. Filthy carpet.

When I walked in my room there was a chair in the way and I almost fell. Then when I went to lay on the bed it was sunk in the middle so bad I had to put pillows in it just to try to get comfortable and the springs were also poking me. There was no phone for me call front desk, and I am handicap and could not walk that long hallway and stairs again I was to tired. When I left in the morning I told man at the front desk and all he said was it will be better next time, and I told him there WONT BE A NEXT TIME.

This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The bed sank in very badly in the middle and you can feel the springs. This bed should be in a dumpster not in a hotel where people stay. I will never stay here again and I advise anyone who reads these reviews not to either.

We laughed at how bad it was. Bathroom counter duct taped together, had to wake clerk up, carpets so bad we threw the bed spreads on the floor to walk on. I would attach pictures but cant figure out how. Yes I took pics

The property was absolutely disgusting. It smelled horrible, the rooms were extremely dirty and smelly. I checked into one, I immediately returned to the front desk. They showed me 4 other rooms and they were the same. It appeared that the hotel caters to crack addicts or worst. A few of them wondered in the hallways.
Extremely unsafe both because of the drug addicts but also in terms of the cleanliness. It is extremely filthy and smelly

This hotel is great…….. if you like crackheads to literally meth up your trip! This reminds me of a hotel the people on Law and Order SVU visit when they are investigating a horrible crime. To be honest it’s probably worse. Now because of this dive hotel I can count on my wife bringing up “that night in Topeka” and I’ll instantly lose every argument. I’ll never forgive myself for this!

The bathroom had plaster around the shower that was cracked, no face cloths, only 1 towel. There was a cigarette stuck in the bathroom vent along with an air freshner

It was so terrible,holes in the walls,bed dirty,no toilet paper, television didn't work,no breakfast, advertising was false no towels for everyone,my babies was so disappointed it was a little dirty.i couldn't climb the stairs.

You definitely get less then what you pay for. It was filthy. I had to go up front to ask them to change the sheets and pillows they were stained and nasty. I reserved a smoke free room it was not. The entire building smelled. I wanted to leave and go somewhere else and just loose out on the money but my husband refused. The TV didn't work we had to have the clerk come and fix it and she did not she said she'd have to send someone else and no one ever came. With the power of Google I reprogrammed the TV myself. The side of the bed was covered in cigarette ash. The bathroom vent had a car air freshener clipped to it. The amount of unsavory people in and around the building was very much noticeable and in your face. And if your booking to use the washer good luck with that it was constantly in use by the people who reside there. The people above us must've owned a full size elephant with the amount of stomping and banging going around. All around horrible experience don't recommend it at all. The only thing positive I can say is it didn't have bed bugs but you still won't wanna lay down on that bed without a tarp.

Property appeared to be mostly original from the early 90's. It needs a complete remodel or torn down. The room was extremely dirty. I don't understand how it's still listed on Expedia as a Super 8.

I stepped into the room and tripped over a chair left directly in front of it. The room was so hot until 2 hours later that i spent time in my car cooling down. The sheets were dirty. Blankets were ripped. Breakfast was cereal. Juice machine didnt work and no sugar for coffee. There just wasn't anything good to say.

Just terrible it stunk stains everywhere on walls and floor. I asked for easy accessibility and they had stairs everywhere but we were exhausted and sick so we just crashed in our clothes. Left as soon as we woke. Breakfast was also a mess or ?

Photos do not match reality, dirty floor, bathroom with crumpled towels, dirty sheets and blankets, damaged walls, horrible smell, door with damaged lock. Me, my husband and my son arrived tired after 12 hours of driving, to check out at 12am and it was impossible to stay there, we had to look for another hotel.

This hotel is not up to a Super8 franchise standard. My room does not have a smoke detector (it is missing from the ceiling mount), the carpet has many stains, all of the towels are old & dingy - not even sure they are clean, and the building needs many repairs.
I cannot recommend this Super8 hotel for anyone traveling through Topeka, KS - spend more $ and stay anywhere else in the area.

Most uncleanly hotel we have ever seen. We booked a room but never stayed. Got a room down the road so lost money for sure.Sheets and pillow cases appeared to not have not been washed. Large stains on all linens. Super strong smell of smokers. Grounds around the hotel littered with trash.

Clean, friendly, professional, respectful, and the pool was just as clean as my room. Hotels in this area at this price are more than hard to find. 2 BIG 👍. Keep up what your doing.

Staff very friendly. Room had problems. Dead bolt busted, refrigerator not working. Breakfast was terrible. Out of juice, waffle machine broken, only cold cereal, while we were eating some the milk ran out and no one replaced it.
