Wasn't the worst hotel, but I wouldn't rush to stay. Room was huge, but a bit dated and worn. Also, it was extremely hot everywhere in the hotel.

The « stage » is set! I am so happy we booked this gem. Stylish and spacious rooms paying tribute to various German artists. Staff was most helpful with attractions, restaurants and directions. Breakfast was delicious and abundant- top notch all around and will definitely return. Marco

Totally worn out hotel in the citycenter. The waterpressure was so low, that it took 30 minutes to shower, Allthough i skipped washing my hair.. which I initially was intending to do. Everything is worn out and the old windows don´t stand against the noicy envioroment. Read: VERY NOICY! There was hair in the sink and on the bed sheets. Plus for a greatbreakfast and the location.

We will be back! We have been coming to Stage 47 for around 10 years. It is about a 5 minute walk from the Station - so very convenient but also a short walk to Königs Allee and the Altstat. The rooms are very comfortable. There is parking close by but we did not need to use on this occasion. There is a lovely sitting area near to where they serve breakfast. There are lots of places to eat nearby.

We stayed one night here at Stage47 and for what we paid it is quite a good deal. Not the best location, quite loud and rough area but not too bad. Big rooms which is great and bed was comfortable. Breakfast standard so I would recommend book without. Overall a good hotel. A typical +++ hotel. Not 4.

This property is just in need of some updating. The carpeting was in pretty poor shape and the upholstered furnishings and headboard were a bit tired. I didn't feel the place was entirely clean. The pillows were very smelly and it was difficult to sleep. The shower was good but limited amenities. The staff was very welcoming and friendly.

Great Movie theatre inspired hotel. Enjoyable stay for us. Central spot close to the rail station for us to travel to Cologne for the day and a visit to the Xmas markets. The room was spacious for us. However - the only downside is that the extra bed for our 17 yo daughter was too small (in length). I felt the room was catered better for a couple rather than a family. Apart from that everything was great.

VERY transitional neighborhood. One side was sex shops, run down cafes and homeless people and the other side was nice middle class shopping and dining. The hotel itself was very dated with old fixtures, shag carpeting, no view and a LOT of street noise.

This is a very convenient and comfortable place to stay, within easy walking distance to train stops and an easy drive to the airport. My one and only reservation about my room at Stage 47 was the shower. Crammed into a corner and raised high (of course, it’s Germany), it opens with two doors that leave big gaps with no seals at the bottom, which lets enough water through for a seal to swim in. Luckily, towel service here is great. And then, trying to get out is a real trick. Unless you hold onto one of the glass doors for balance, you’re going to slip. Every morning was an adventure.

We absolutely loved our stay!!!! We were a family of 3. Two adults and a teenager. Our room felt spacious by European standards. across the street, there was a wonderful huge grocery store with prepared foods, homemade pastries, and coffees to go. We had a car so we just kept moving it around the block though the parking signage is very confusing. The wonderful women at the front desk helped answer our questions. They were great and helpful. We used the electric scooters around the area that was so much fun. As everyone mentioned, the location is fantastic. Lots of wonderful restaurants minutes from the hotel. Shopping centers close by. We even managed to get a pedicure about three blocks away. There is a beautiful waterway close by and it is gorgeous as the sun is setting. Flocks of parrots flew overhead. Who knew parrots would be in Germany! If we go back to Düsseldorf, we will book again. We loved it that much!!
