Hotel needs maintenance on a lot of little things. The door to the room 217 had to be pulled toward you to get it open. The elevator sounds like it could grind to a halt at any moment. The water faucet in the tub was so tight (to keep it from dripping) that I couldnt hardly turn it on or off. There was no hair dryer available when I requested one (even though its advertised as such online). The card reader on the main lobby door was broken for after-hour entry, so I had to walk around the building to find another entrance. I am 62 years old and have major heart issues. I was scared at midnight to walk around the building for safety and medical reasons. After being at the hospital with my very sick husband for 10 days, all I really wanted was a shower, a bed for 1 night to sleep in, and the ability to dry my hair before going back to the hospital, but I got many added steps back the the front desk to ask why my door wouldn't open, needing a pair of pliers nearly to turn the faucet on, no hair dryer to dry my hair, and even more steps around the building at midnight to get in the building. Although I appreciated the price of $62, it could've been a much better stay with just a little maintenance.

The room I stayed in was appropriately priced for what I got. I saw no sign of insect issues and everything appeared to be clean. The bed was comfortable and we had no problems with noise from the hallway or from other rooms.

Room 224 had a fridge that didn’t work and only one lamp that worked. Was moved to 220 and one table was missing a lamp and two of the three other lamps did not work.

I checked in at 8:30pm on a Saturday night. The room was decent. A bit outdated as far as pug ins. The floor was clean (laminated) overall the room was decent. The hotel smelled like marijuana. After getting settled in my room the room above me was making horrific sounds. It sounded like kids jumping off the bed and running in the room. I am assuming due to laminate floor the sound barrier is not very good. But I called the front desk. The guy was nice he came to the room and said he would go upstairs and ask them to quiet down. He also said he would be getting off at 10 which was in 15 minutes. He failed to tell me there would be no one at the desk or on the property if I needed something. The kids finally settled down around 11:45pm. And yep they were back up at 6am the next morning. I had full intentions of expressing my concerns when I checked out. Little to my surprise there was no front attendant from 10pm to 11am. Check out is 11. So if I wanted to wait around I could have. I ended up taking a video and you can hear the ceiling cracking every time the kids ran across the floor above me. Not a good night for sure!

Room was very clean and well kept, staff was beyond friendly! Place locks down at 10 for security so you have to have your key card to get in. Comfy beds, nice air, hot water, everything we needed.

The first night the room above us had people stomping around all hours of the night. The walls are pretty thin. To be fair it was the 4th of July. But it was definitely excessive. Staff was friendly and the rooms were clean.

The first thing that happened when I checked in is I was informed they no longer provide breakfast of any kind, and that the rooms don't have dishes, glasses of flatware anymore. The room was dirty, and the attendant insulted my hometown. He spent 3 minutes telling me how terrible it is, and he feels sorry for me.

Horrible and disgusting, there was a tissue in the peephole and dogs running loose in the lobby. I literally was scared for my safety. The worse place I could even imagine. I went directly back to the lobby and said I am not staying here and handed back the key.

The property was nice. Very well maintained for a long term stay. All staff was friendly and accomodating. Did not like upon check-in, for a room i already paid for in full, being told that there are no longer dishes in the rooms to cook with and theres no longer breakfast. No way of getting coffee or food unless you leave the property. Vending machines are sooooo expensive. Whole reason in choosing this place was so we could cook our own meals. The bed was ridiculously small and uncomfortable. It was supposed to be a queen felt more like a full. Had a flat sheet in place of the fitted so that was a nightmare. No one to get ahold of till after three at the desk. The living/bedroom was spacious and clean. The TV was super small. The bathroom was extremely small and very inconveniently set up. The tub only half drained and the shower pull post stuck so you had to be strong to get it to full shower. Other than feeling like i got jipped on the kitchen and bed not horrible.

Would’ve left the hotel but I had a very important family engagement to attend, drove from Dallas to be there, checked in and was about to shower and realized that there were no wash cloths. So I called the front desk and told them and they promised to send some up right away, but it never happened. Called several more times and the same promise was made and still never got them. Had to have family member bring me some towels just so I could make my engagement on time. Definitely need a refund for my troubles with this hotel, but other than that it was average.

I kept finding long black hair in the bathroom and on the bed. I have short brown hair. The bathroom was way to small. I had to close the door in order to use the toilet. The only time I saw any staff was in the evening to 10 pm at the front desk and there was only one guy.

When I went to check in, the employee told me there was an extra $27 fee for our dog. This fee was not disclosed at the time the reservation was made. She said the owner of the hotel doesn’t mention it on hotels.com because so few hotels in Springfield take dogs so they can charge whatever they want at check in and people will have to pay it. I have stayed here before and the fee was much less. I’ll never stay here again for this reason, and because the public areas of the hotel are very dirty.

I believe it was sound proof - very busy but quiet. Room had full size refrigerator with freeze, Actual small kitchen with electric range and sink. Need to bring your own cookware/utensils. Also a microwave. Would stay there again.

Helpful friendly night staff. Easy parking and access to room. Clean, comfortable room with limited amenities. Easy to control heating/air-conditioner. It appears this area considers "Breakfast" one coffee urn one hot water urn and small muffins and or granola bars, with no tables, chairs, or even counter space to place your items on.

Lance, who checked me in, was excellent. He should be considered a true travel industry professional. The room surprised me with no supplies that one would expect in an long-term property. Not even a plate, fork or anything. One complaint is the towels were thin and tiny. But for my purposes it worked out ok.

This was the worst service I have EVER received at a hotel. Upon arrival, I was told our room and several others, had water damage. During the process to figure out our room, which I prepaid for, the front desk employee, Ambrose, was rude, cursing, refusing to let me speak to management or provide me with their information, and escalated to threatening me and ultimately abandoning the desk and refusing to give us the rooms she originally said she could accommodate us with. The police had to be called so we could initiate a refund. During this process, the hotel has a recording all of it unfolding. It was very dirty in the lobby and we were told they do not offer a full breakfast, which is in the description, only breakfast bars. I would not recommend this property to my worst enemy.
