I will NEVER stay here again! Our 1st room had lights out. Second room smelled liked it hadn't been opened or used in awhile.
I'm 5'4" tall and had to bend over to wash my hair in the shower. My husband said the showers camping were better. The towels were what we use as rags at home to clean with.
Getting back to our room our Saturday,
room hadn't been cleaned. After walking to the desk and asking for clean towels, I walked back to our room, I was followed by a drunk man.
When I stay in Red Bluff again I will pay the extra $200 and stay at the Comfort Inn.

DIRTY, un professional staff
0.5 / 5.0
Pros: easy to find and friendly staff
CONS: room was very dirty. stains everywhere: the floor, the walls, etc. the pillow had lipstick stains. I killed a few bugs. It was a non-smoking room yet it smelled like smoke and the bed had cigarette burns.

Terrible. Definitely not worth $90/night. People hanging outside right next to the rooms and parked cars until 11:30pm playing soccer and drinking. The room was dirty: heavy dirt and shoe marks all over the walls, dried, spilled coffee on the toilet lid. The TV didn't work, there was a phone with no connection - there was literally no telephone cord to connect to it - I guess that's one way to prevent guests from calling the front desk to complain. The amenities listed say there is a coffeemaker, which is technically true I guess, but there is no coffee or cups provided. The microwave and refrigerator were on a power strip that was daisy-chained to one on the wall that you had to manually turn on (fire hazard). No sprinkler system if a fire did break out. I couldn't sleep, didn't feel safe there with my kid. Left as early as we could. Beware.

Good

Our stay was ok except for the abundance of people living at the hotel and the kids coming up to us begging for money. I felt like we were in the projects

There was not much to like. The area was not safe. Had people hovering in the stair wells. Many bugs flying around the lights outside the room. We had to open the door and get in as fast as possible or we had a room full of flying bugs. The air conditioner was wall mounted and you needed a chair to reach the controls. The TV was disconnected and had to call the office to get it fixed. The room furniture was very very old. The toilet wouldn’t flush until I took off the the tank cover to free the fill up valve. The ad said River view? No you had a view of the trees on the river, could not see the water. Pillows were big and hard, like a petrified marshmallow.

The pictures on Hotels.com are misleading. We booked 3 nights but only spent one night. There were feral cats everywhere on the property. The pool water was sketchy and the pool furniture was broken and/or not comfortable. People live there either long or short term. No coffee in room and a terrible/nonexistant selection in the lobby.

Nice room. No frills. Exactly what I wanted for a quick stopover. Reasonably priced for what I got.

Pretty sure the rooms downstairs are smoking rooms. We are here in May so can have the window wide open, otherwise I would not be able to sleep. Good value for the price; just an overnight stop on a two-day drive. (The river walk is across the bridge.)

cheap and large room and bed but the room is dirty and smell. The AC is loud but keeps the room warm. The door key doesn't work and the area is unsafe with a few homeless people hanging around Deny next door and in the parking lot. For an extra 10 or $20/night, I would stay elsewhere.

Mold and filthy! Had an allergic reaction within a day and morning with being unable to breathe, throat was closing!! Unclean & unhealthy environment!

We just needed a place to crash on our long drive down to SoCal. Definitely should have paid a little more to stay somewhere else. Only received one key and no other paperwork at check in. Thankfully I remembered the room number I was told. Not positive the bathroom was cleaned because there was still a razor from the prior guest. The window was wide open when we got into the room so it was freezing. There was no screen on the window. The tv and cable box were all unplugged and unattached. Parking lot is very well lit so it helped not feeling so sketchy. Front desk was friendly but no one was available the next morning when we were ready to check out.

Good spot to stay. Affordable and quiet. My room had a water leak from the roof but nothing a trash can couldn’t fix.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable lots of pillows! They had k cup maker in room for morning coffee which was nice. The only thing that was wrong was the TV was broken and we had to switch rooms then that TV was broken.
Weekly rate made it affordable.

Right on the river and close to Main Street, this lodge is a great value for the money. Also has a pool, which was not used this visit.

We rolled into Red Bluff in the early evening. The drive was extremely hot, with temperatures around 110 degrees. When we entered the room, it was like an oven. We cranked up the air conditioner as high as it could go and went to sleep. Mid morning we woke up to a very chilly room. I didn't expect the room to be cool, but keeping the air conditioner on low would have worked. Also, the TV was complicated. Staff instructed us to pull the TV away from the enclosure and punch a button on the back. This should not be necessary. Aside, from that, the room was spacious and clean.

The handle on the toilet is broken off and one towel rack is missing. There was only one set of towels. The tub was slippery. There were only 2 pillows and no extra blanket.
1.0 / 5.0
Staff were friendly, but the room was not clean. Could not get ice, as no bucket or ice, bed sheets too small, not enough towels. But it was cheap, so we put up with it for 1 night. Would not come again though.

Door was mis-aligned and extremely hard to close, bed too soft, air conditioner was noisy and didn't cool the room well, no coffee either in room or in the lobby (during check-in, clerk stated that both were available).

We only had to spend one night. Bed was clean and fine. Pool was great. But room was pretty dingy, hole in bathroom wall, no coffee in he room and no breakfast as advertised. Would not go again.
