Stayed 4nights visiting family. The toilet ran all the time. I had to take the tank lid off & fix the chain - after a while that quit working. The shower insert was a poor fit and crackled all the time. The bedding seemed clean enough, but the carpet was greasy looking.
Not the worst for the money, but definitely not best.

On the plus side, the front desk was super nice and quick check in. The not so great side, there was long blonde hairs still on the side of the shower and the tv didn’t work at all. I was told a manager would reach out and never heard anything.

I booked a room for Friday night and the front desk clerk recognized that there were two credit cards on file. The first night was on a Wells Card/Paypal. The other card was chase for Friday and Saturday. She realized there was an error and agreed to delete the card Chase/with two nights instead, she kept it on there changed the latter to Saturday night and charged us even though we didn't stay on Saturday night. Once I realized she had not cancelled I repeatedly called/no answer/or VM/and texted and no response until 11:59/asking did I want to cancel and charged me. Then blamed expedia...I trusted the clerk and my husband and I are seniors and despite repeat effort to address the matter especially since I trusted her. They charged us and offered nothing, but to waive any overage fees. Why didn't she tell me to notify Expedia instead of making me believe she would cancel it. I trusted her.

My landlord decided to tear down my apartment building and I had to move and had to spend a couple weeks staying at local hotels until my new place was avail. I stayed at the fairbridge because of the price. Room was not bad, the stay was fairly nice, I decided to check out some other hotels but eventually returned to the fairbridge. I came to my room after work and pulled the sheets back and bed bugs scattered. I notified the hotel staff and took photos, they quickly moved me to another room, no comp was offered. I checked out the next day and returned a couple days later after paying online for a room. When I checked in, I was told there was a DO NOT RENT notice on my account due to drug use in the room. Shocked I asked them what they were even talking about as I do not and had not use drugs, they claimed the house keepers found evidence of drug use but would not tell me more. They claimed it was possibly my guest however I did not have a guest in the room they claimed found drug use evidence. The manager claimed she couldn't reverse the DNR after the house keepers puts it on the room which I find very hard to believe. They would not tell me what they supposed found and I was out the money I paid for the room. This is outrageous and I believe it's because I found the bed bugs. I would not recommend this place to anyone ! I've never been so disrespected in my life by a hotel.

We have always appreciated the value, location and cleanliness at the Fairbridge. Not so much this time. Floor was filthy, ants, tub dirty, mold and the light didn’t work in the bathroom and the breakfast service was subpar. Would have relocated but we were unable to do so due to it being Homecoming weekend. Feel bad for the staff being put in the position of having to make excuses for the poor conditions at the Fairbridge. Will rethink our next visit.

Very clean which made up for being a bit out of date. My only real disappointment was the lack of gluten free choices but I don’t feel that is something I expect either. Thankful for the yogurt tho!

Hotel is old and very dirty.
It seemed the sheets were washed in my room but the floor was not cleaned. Cracker fragments and other things strewn on the floor etc.

The staff are very friendly and helpful and it has adequate parking. Shopping & golf are nearby
The hotel though is horribly outdated and in need of a full renovation.
Carpets & furnishings are older. Overall it feels sketchy. Room felt a bit dingy. Elevator and doors gotta be 40+ years old and are all tired. It offered a free breakfast..I checked in late and chose not to go.
I would stay there again, but I’d check out other options first.

It was good when asked if there were any places to eat within walking distance they knew some places and we could go shopping within walking distance as well a very good experience.

The staff was very kind and understanding of the fact that we had been on the road for a long time and just need a clean, comfortable and affordable place to sleep before we gor back on the road. The breakfast was good: waffles, biscuits and gravy, muffins, hard boiled eggs and yogurt, and more! All that, plus coffee, juice, milk, and water! It was plenty and it was better than we've had at a number of other hotels. We did the math on what we saved on buying breakfast for four at McDonald's or Perkins and it just made sense. Of course, the Fairbridge was relatively clean and quite comfortable. We all slept well and ate well before going back on the road.

This was a good place to stay a little older but exceeded my expectations

I checked in at about 12:30am to disgustingly run-down, dirty room. I left at 5:30am as I couldn’t sleep in that room. Old, dirty carpet, nightstand and counter tops. Comforter looked worn. Latch on door was broken off and never replaced. I was traveling thru in the early AM, at least 3 at the hotel room doors were left ajar which was odd to me at that hour. I did not feel safe with that and no latch on the door. TV went in and out so watching a show was not an option. And I was charged about $170 for this room.

Very nice hotel. Older on the outside but very clean. Nice room spacious. Seemed very safe. Staff were very friendly and helpful. For the price and excellent place to stay one night passing through town. 4 miles off of I-90.

Room smelled like urine, there were holes punched in the bathroom door, and the toilet was cracked. We only stayed because we had no other options.

Old run down hotel

The property was a relic from the 70’s. It was difficult to tell whether it was not clean or it was just wear and tear from 50 years of wear and tear. The halls were very dark due to the old dark wood. The free breakfast was great: fresh and good variety. The staff I interacted with were nice and helpful.

There was a very friendly lady at the counter to greet us and check us in. Our room was close to the elevator because we had mentioned while registering online that we had walking issues. The room had plenty of space to walk around in, microwave, fridge, ironing board, tub/shower with shampoo & conditioner that were in a more elegant bottle than normal, plus a face wash bar of soap. Everything was very clean. Nothing was able to get lost under the bed because of its design that reached to the floor. Beds were very comfortable. Our window faced a street that had some construction on the road going on from 6 pm-6 am, but we didnt hear anything except when we first went to bed. Continental breakfast (waffles, boiled eggs, biscuits/gravy plus the cereals, breada/muffins & yogurt- with tall dispensers for each plastic silverware item) was in a nice, large dining area. Food was great! There was a spacious area with couches, chairs and a TV near the front area; which I'm sure some older siblings had been using for their 10-day stay. There were other amenities, listed on their page, that I didnt use. The inconveniences were that we couldn't seem to to get a TV station very clearly, and we had a lightbulb randomly flashing on and off in the bathroom (whuch we didnt report until we checked out).

The wifi and tv services were very poor - but cutting in and out and freezing up. The breakfast was average at best but the room was bright and clean with an onsite person taking care of cleaning and keeping things available which was good. The front desk people were very efficient and friendly.

Just here to sleep and the room was clean and comfortable.

We had some vehicle issues and had to have our car towed back to the hotel and we were able to put it in a area that we could get it up on a car hauler. Sunday morning we had family coming to get the car and we were going to be later than our check out time and the General manager was so good to us he extended us by noon which gave the time to check out. Would I stay there again. yes I would great staff at your front desk and the breakfast was good. I give that General manager Kudos he was a real blessing to us
Blessings to all and thank you Bonnie Stone

The staff was very nice but this is probably the single dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

Needs some overall maintenance, little disappointed with the room. Broken lock, hole in bathroom ceiling. But a/c worked great. All outside doors did lock, a couple breakfast options. Felt it was a little over priced

Don’t stay here unless there are no other options. Staff was nice but hotel is very dated. Door didn’t latch shut unless slammed, broken tiles in bathroom, bathroom door looked like it was kicked in. Best part of the hotel is The Notorious PIG bbq place right next door, delicious!

Lobby and room were very clean and comfortable. The rest of the hotel is pretty run down and in need of remodel. Breakfast was muffins, cereal, and biscuits and gravy so we ate elsewhere. Staff was pleasant and knowledgeable.

The property was very run down and not maintained. For instance door handles were missing, the carpet was very dirty, the halls were dark and dirty. Our room smelled bad and the air conditioner was VERY loud. The bathroom off of the lobby did not have paper towels the entire 2 days we were there. We paid for two nights but decided to go home and not stay the second night.
