This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. Parking is plentiful. Check in and check out we’re fast and efficient. Room is huge with a nice sitting area. Didn’t utilize the breakfast this time, but in the past it was a nice addition to the stay.

The staff was excellent + friendly!!! The elevator needs fixing. It makes a noise like a dying dinosaur every time it opens + closes. Every. Time. All. Night.

Elevator was next to our room, elevator was very squeaky and loud. Room was smelly of what my wife thought was cigarettes. On headboard my wife wiped off a white substance near her pillows. Microwave dirty. Very dated and paint in room peeling from patches. Pulling in we thought we had the wrong place. Looked to be an abandoned building. No cars in lot. Realized we were at the right place after entering. Only there for one night, no intentions of using bath as we were just there for concert. Bedding was clean so instead of arguing for money back we decided to hell with it knowing not to book there again for future trips.

This is our repeated stay, we also stayed at your hotel last year. We rated the hotel 5-star last year, but to our disappointment, we can only rate the stay as a 3 star this time due to the unacceptable housekeeping services. Here's the recap: Night 1 to Night 3, our bed was sloppily made, the employee just pulled the comforter over the bed, and that was it. Night 4, the bed was made perfectly. Night 5, our bed was not even touch at all. Overall, the cleanliness of the room is very questionable. On a side note, the front desk staff was responsive, friendly, and just awesome. The free breakfast was good.

Great place to stay. Easy access to hwy and shopping. Rooms are spacious but would use a bit more lighting. Free full breakfast included. Very delicious!

I chose this property because of the very high ratings and reasonable price. It is an older property showing some age, not that big a deal for me. My biggest issue was that my room smelled musty and unpleasant. So much so that I worried that my clothes and bag would smell bad for my work event the next day (no one at work noticed). I could not tell if the odor was from the carpet, walls, etc. The bed was clean with modern sheets/comforter, so I felt comfortable sleeping, but I did not enjoy the experience.

It’s kept clean and neat. Breakfast served was excellent. Swimming pool area was heavily chlorinated. Unfortunately, the smell could be detected all the way to the 4th floor.

The bathroom tile grout needed to be clean. The shower curtain had unforsaken stuff on it. The headboard to the bed had other people's greasy heads fingerprints and God knows what on it it was untirable and gross. However, the pillows were great the bed was comfortable and the rest of the room was enjoyable. Would I stay there again absolutely not. I would not recommend this for anyone to stay there. The elevator was extremely noisy opening and closing going up and down unbelievable. The man at the front desk that checked us in sat talking to someone else that was in his earphone in another language. This was while he was checking us in. Which I feel is inexcusable and disrespectful. The breakfast was the absolute worst I have ever had in Hotel chain. Everything was cold. The oatmeal was soupy. To say the least. And it was a very limited breakfast menu. The biscuits were dry and the gravy was supper. When we tried to have cocoa When we arrive there was no hot cocoa in the machine it was just water with God knows what in it. Overall we were not very satisfied with our stay. Other people need to know this.

It was much cheaper than any of the motels downtown. It was on a busy street, but set back enough that it was quiet. Parking was easy, checkin and out was simple and fast. We had a nice big suite that was clean and comfortable. We’ll stay there again

Rooms were dirty and pool room was so chlorinated I could barely open my eyes. Never experienced anything like that before. Chlorine only releases the “chlorine smell” when the water is extremely dirty.

All day furniture except the bed were old and kind of dirty. The floral was so squeaky we couldn't sleep between 1:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. because the people upstairs were awake and walking the floor was squeaking so terribly fell like it will collapse any minute

I stayed at this hotel with 3 other friends for 6 nights while we attended a music camp at WMU. All we did was sleep here, as we were at the university from 8:30am until 10pm every day. It was pleasant enough, decent breakfast, and all but one staff member were friendly and helpful. Nothing luxurious, but good value for the money. We will probably stay here again next year.

We enjoyed our stay and plan to stay again next time we're in Kalamazoo. The pool was excellent and the bed very comfortable. The only issue I had was that the sheets seemed like they could have been dried a bit more before we they were placed on the bed. The room was spacious.

Spent the weekend her with our family for graduation at WMU. The pros: easily accessible to freeway. Safe neighborhood. Close proximity to Western Michigan University. The cons: Looks good from the distance, but the closer you look, you start to notice all of the repairs this place needs. The bathroom doors won’t stay open, so they get very hot and humid, and they are small. We woke up the first morning to water all over our floor, dripping from the room above. I notified the front desk and I’m not sure what they did about it, but it didn’t drip anymore; some follow-up would have been nice. There was water all over the tiled floors from people walking around after getting out of the pool. Saw someone slip and fall because of it. Breakfast was your basic hotel stuff. Nothing fancy, could have used more fruit besides oranges and apples. Overall it was so-so, a place you would expect to spend no more than $125 a night, so for the condition I think it was overpriced.
