Our check-in process was easy.
The facilities are quite nice, aswell as the breakfast, although their rate was different on a following day. There was AC in the room, but ended up turning it off as it did not function.
Reduced parking was not great, but the alternative of INC nearby worked for us - person on the hotel gate buzzer could have been more welcoming…

Great food and very comfortable. We were attending an award ceremony nearby in the convention centre.

Worst checkin staff I ever came across.
Really rude, told me we hadn’t got a booking when we did, wouldn’t accept the email copy of the booking.

I got to my "superior" room which cost over 300 EUR per night to find that there was no desk. Not great for a business trip. Apparently some rooms have desks but the hotel was full that night so there were no other rooms.
When I complained, someone tried to call me the next day and offered to move me for my second night. So despite the problem the service was pretty good. And it was very good in other ways as well.
In terms of the room, it was small and looked out over an air conditioning unit. So I am not sure what it was superior to.
The staff at the hotel and the food were great.
So, although you can apparently ask for a desk in advance, I would not stay here again on business, but I would do so for leisure. And maybe come to the restaurant even if not staying there.

Really nice hotel, extremely friendly smiling staff, both in reception, and breakfast restaurant and nice size of room and refrigerator, too - excellen. And cleaning staff, too . Enjoyed my stay really much, and would love to visit this hotel again soon.

No complaints, all good apart from a noise every half an hour (from don’t know what), so sleep was constantly disturbed. (After specifying for a quiet room when booking)

Stayed here for three nights while on business in Dublin. What a find. Fantastic location, staff, bar, food, gym and pool, rooms. Cannot fault the Hotel. Only place I will stay next time I return. Well done. A1

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel a great deal. Great fitness center, nice rooms, and within a 25 minute walk to the city center and many sights.

The front staff (especially Philip) was very helpful and accommodating in helping us change our room and in general. THANKS!

Decent hotel but construction next to it starting at 6:30am!! The room was hot so I put the fan on and it seemed to make the room even hotter. Good location and amenities otherwise. Was ok but prices should be slightly lower while Construction on as disruptive to sleep!

Nice rooms….. very clean….. efficient staff
Biggest downside is car parking is 200 yds offsite and not the easiest to access

I cannot recommend the Spencer Hotel more highly. From the friendly reception staff to the cleanliness of the room, to the food at East restaurant where again we encountered attentive and friendly staff. The hotel’s convenient location to the Bord Gáis Theatre (where we were going) was a real selling point. You would not be disappointed by a stay here, I wound most definitely book again.

Had the best stay at this hotel for Taylor Swift. It was buzzing, cocktails were delicious especially the Swiftie on was a nice touch! Breakfast was gorgeous too. Deffo be back here !

Expensive, we upgraded to a superior room with balcony. Building site opposite our room with lights that shone strait into our room all night making it difficult to sleep. Spencer you need to be aware of guests and their comfort.. very poor!

Pleasure overnight to attend a concert in Dublin

The hotel is nice and the staff are friendly and helpful. The food was lovely and we also used the spa.The hotel is near to two museums which is good, but about 20/30 min walk to the center. One of the main negatives for me was that the hotel is fronted by a busy road, and so of the rooms have patio doors which aren't actually fully flush in their frames so the noise is louder than we would have preferred. Couldn't comment if the rooms without balconies are quieter. Our AC also wasn't working so the room was boiling.

Nice hotel, lovely staff, walkable - a good spot in the city!

Very comfortable stay and easily accessible to museums, airport.
Very dissappointed with the bathroom facilities, no make up mirror, very low lighting, one bathroom for quadruple room. Shower stall very small.

A great location, with the Dublin Express airport pick up & drop off directly outside the hotel. Our room included a little balcony overlooking the side street which we wished we had more time with our stay to sit and enjoy it!

We had a very enjoyable one night stay. Our experience at check in was especially good. We had arrived early but realised that our room might not be available as it was a Saturday. We returned an hour later and were told that the room was not ready yet. However, Tommy overheard our story and was able to get us a room….. he was very kind and helpful.
Our room was comfortable if a bit too warm. Breakfast on the next day was very good especially the fruit. One small complaint was that we couldn’t get a bottle of the hotel water. We drink a lot of water at breakfast.

The property is rather new, and the rooms are comfortable
