The room was very comfortable and spacious for 3 people bathroom was lovely and clean nice supply of towns and extra pillows. Check in was easy and simply Lovely staff when checking in a man and young girl really friendly. Unfortunately didn’t get to eat here or drink.
The parking is shocking I would suggest the hotel should start taking car regs for people booking in as some people who stay here think they are above everyone else and if they drive a fancy car will park on purpose to take up 2 spaces so you can’t park next to their Mercedes or pouches.
The night porter ‘mark’ was the name he gave me. Was so rude ..what was mentioned to my friend who checked in before us (as there was 3 of us) was that if we needed anything when we arrived back late to the hotel E.g sandwiches drinks to ring down and he would look afters us .. well we got a completely different treatment. We asked for sandwiches and was simply told rudely No kitchen closed. We chanced our arm for drink and was met with the same answer No bar closed (we didn’t mention if it was alcohol drinks or not) we didn’t get a chance to explain the drink we were looking for we were lucky we had brought our own soft drinks from the shop traveling up from cork. Paying 390 for 1 night 3 people I have been to much cheaper and expensive hotels and was never in my life met with the rudeness of any night porter like this in any hotel always so accommodating and pleasant to deal with.

I didn’t get to utilise this hotel as adequately as I would like as I was staying there following a medical procedure but of what I saw of it, it was spotless , well located and my partner said the food was very good. Great that there is parking also

Room was excellent
Had the Irish Fry. It was not great. Rashers and sausages were a little overdone.

We stay in this hotel a few times a year - we can see the standard of food/room has gone down. We had a family dinner in the restaurant- the quality of the food and service ok- toast masters had a large booking and had speeches- they were very loud- I complained to the staff to be told they are- no way should an event like that be in the same room as people trying to have a family dinner- I complained next morning and was told nothing we could have done - very disappointing stay -
