First this place has the best location.Rialto bridge is basically right outside. There’s a tiny alleyway you could cut too and it takes you like 30 seconds and the aqua bus stops there too. It’s 8 minute walk to San Marcos Square if you’re not distracted by all the beautiful shops around. But be warned everything else is as the other review describes… the beds are uncomfortable, but firm and if you’re sleeping in a 3 person room do not expect much space, a moldy smell. There’s no elevator and lots of stairs. Furniture and bathroom is very outdated, but expected for Venice at this price point. They try to be as accommodating as possible when we first checked in our bathroom had a nonfunctioning toilet and they were able to switch us to another room, there is no screens on the windows and the AC was not on anymore because it was already end of October. They gave us a fan and we had to crack the window open because it was very stuffy. The streets are very loud as there is a restaurant right downstairs below our window. You have to use earplugs to sleep, also it’s in a very busy area so there’s gonna be noise. However, for the price, I would definitely stay here again for just how amazing the LOCATION!! We request a water kettle which was unavailable for the first night, but they found one for us for the second night and that was really nice. Clean towels, very basic toiletry amenities. Again, I can’t stress enough how it is conveniently located.

I can warmly recommend this hotel due to its location in the center. One minute from the Rialto Bridge and five minutes from Piazza san Marco. We stayed three adults in the red superior room - a bit worn, but clean. There is a hairdryer, but bring hair and body shampoo 😉 We spoke with three different people at the reception, which is staffed 24/7, and they all spoke good English and were really service-minded, friendly, and accommodating. The breakfast was okay, but they could improve on clearing and cleaning in the breakfast restaurant. But we all agreed that we would love to come back.

The hotel location was perfect for walking and the water bus stop for all of Venice was right there. The beds were comfortable, room was small but normal for Europe standards. Bathroom could use some work.
3.7
Great spot for a single night and quick stay. Very easy to find and easy to get too from the Rialto stop. The staff was great. We booked a room with sleeping for 3 but received a room with a single bed. Overall fit our needs.
3.7
The location was perfect right next to rialto bridge, walkable to most places. There were many restaurants and supermarkets around. The hotel seemed it was renovated not long ago. Gives vintage vibe. It’s only stairs no lift that was not a problem. The staff were friendly the check in was great. We even got one of the rooms upgraded. When we go back to Venice we would stay there again.
3.7
Very bad room service ! Bathroom wasn't cleaned and bath towels weren't changed during 3 days. Wifi signal very weak and almost not available.
Neighborhood's noise is highly audiable.
Staff is not very reactive.
The hotel is near of ponte Rialto, very good place.
3.7
Air conditioner was insufficient (did not get below 81 Fahrenheit), mold in the shower, cracked floor tiles, doors to patios were not able to be secured.
3.7
Good stay
3.7
No AC. Dirty. Staff well aware the ac did not work. Small dirty room with no closet or clothes dresser. Vent blew outside air into room. Vent and walls black from exterior air polution. Crap.

I love this hotel

Location was great. As for the hotel itself, the air conditioner wasn’t working properly and we had very hot days, besides that there was only extremely hot water in the shower…not cold (which is ironic since it’s summer and the air conditioner wasn’t working I expected to have a cold shower but it was burning hot). Also the wifi signal was horrible at our room.
At least we had a clean bathroom and room. But yeah, facilities weren’t that good.

The hotel is very convenient to the Rialto bridge. There are plenty of options for dining and shopping.
Our room was ok until.... On our second night it started to rain... In our room! We woke at 1 am to water pouring from the the fixture in the bathroom and water pouring down the walls in our room... Literally it was raining in our room! I have video to prove I'm not exaggerating.
I explained that we needed to be moved because it was raining inside our room. He consulted his computer screen for several minutes and we took a walk up several flights of stairs to the third floor to look at a room. It was dry... Lol! But, we needed a room for 3 people as I had previously told him and this room could not accommodate 3. So, back downstairs we went. He consulted his computer again and then told me he needed to talk to his boss. Ok... I went back to my room with the crazy leaky ceiling.
He finally comes back with 2 sets of keys. They were putting us in 2 rooms... Room 11 on the second floor and Room 15 on the third floor. He told us we could leave our things in our original room, Room 3. We did our best to protect our belongings and take a few things to the newly assigned rooms.
In the morning I asked if they would adjust my bill due to the inconvenience. They waived the 21euro city tax but felt nothing further was due since they moved us to new rooms. But this was our last night. Very annoying that they didn't make an effort adjustment to my bill.

Well situated near Rialto Bridge

Easy checkin and excellent location. Older style but clean and tidy. Thanks for the great stay 😊

Great

We stayed 3 nights, the place is not great, but is not bad either. What we loved is the easy convenience to get to places by walking short distances.
3.7
Very comfortable beds. No shampoo, soap. Mold in shower but good for a quick stay
3.7
Firstly the service was really friendly, some nice people at reception.
The location is very convenient, super central and hidden down a side street so a bit quieter.
The hotel corridors feel very outside inside, and you're certainly setting yourself up for a "where did I book" experience for a bit.
Once arriving in the room the rooms are clean and tidy, however my bathroom was quite ropey, needs some repairs such as repairing the shower head holder, the door framing, the bath tub (about 1/2 size bath) had lots of damage over the years. It felt a bit like a hostel bathroom.
The bed for me was near rock solid, and this was a superior room, I wonder what the standard rooms are like.
3.7
The hotel is amazing and literally right in the middle of everything. I loved my experience here. Michele was amazing to us and treated us like family. I definitely recommend staying at Graspo de ua when visiting Venezia!
3.7
Good location. Near everything.

Hotel did not look like the pictures showbusiness. The reception were very outdated - looked cheap and not very welcoming.
We had free breakfast inkluded, and when we arrived at the buffet at 9 o’clock everything was gone, and 1 server were working. He wasn’t very polite, and ignored every question we had. For instance, we asked for more cups for the coffee, since everything was used, and he just made us feel not very welcomed.
We are breakfast elsewhere the rest of the tour.
The room was very very very old. I had to check under the bed before even wanting to go into it. Almost no bedding and the hardest madress i have ever slept in. The Walls were dirty and had old holes in them, and throughout the week we could hear people in the rooms next to us, since the Doors didn’t close propperly.
TV didn’t work, and there were no adds in the room like coffee machine as seen on the pictures.
Overall a very very dissappointing experience for such an expensive hotel.

Great place - highly recommend to others
3.7
The room was clean and the style was traditionally Italian in decor. Overall a nice place to stay in central Venice. Close to shopping, restaurants, boat rides all within walking distance. The only problem is that the hotel is on a tiny side street and very very difficult to find even with the incomplete directions provided by the hotel. I walked around for 2 hours and asked several people before I was finally able to find it.
3.7
The room was lovely and super cute and the location was perfect. Right by the water ferry and the bridge. Only complaint was the four flights of stairs to our room. Lol way worse with luggage too. It was just the two of us and we were there for two nights.
3.7
Great for the price and taking in account is Venice. Good place to stay
3.7
We had a short stay in Hotel Graspo de Ua, but we had a great experience, they delivered good service and the room was clean.
3.7
Fantastic location and would’ve been a really nice stay but our roof in our room was leaking and the carpet was wet and smelt awful and the dripping kept me awake all night which isn’t great as accom isn’t cheap so a bit disappointed
3.7
Mould in bathroom
Next to public toilet
Dark and dingy
No room to move
Looked tired and dirty
€350 was way to much
Avoid
Only good thing near main bridge and staff nice
3.7
Its ok. Very friendly staff, but it is an old building and it is not good isolated. You hear everything specially the cleaning staff in the morning they are extremely loud. But location is great and the room offers what you need.
3.7
Property near the Ferrovial system. Great location. Decent value but they can try harder to help the customers enjoy Venice better by cleaning the bathroom and room. It looked dirty and the bathroom smelled.
3.7
Terrible experience. Pictures were deceiving. When I booked the hotel room , it shows totally different pics than the actual room. Bathroom was leaking and smelled liked sewers. I hope I get my refund. Had to walk thru hotel trash to get to my room. Owners was not at all helpful in finding better room or changing our room.
3.7
Horrible property, will never recommend anyone to stay here. Pictures on website are deceiving, had to walk through hotel trash to go to our rooms. Bathroom was leaking and had sewer smell. Dirty linens. Owner did not do anything to make it better. Kept saying we are fully booked.
3.7
The staffs were very friendly and helpful
3.7
Great location for the price, and great accommodations. We loved the victorian look.
3.7
Hotel staff was very nice but hotel is in very poor condition. Rooms are small and hotel is very run down. Wouldn’t stay there again.
3.7
Room was old, small, and expensive. I'm not at all overweight but could barely fit in the shower. I do not recommend staying here.
3.7
This hotel is crumbling.
It’s a 0.5/5 stars maximum, should not have the rating it has.
1) Mold on the walls and shower. Not good if you have allergies.
2) No hot water in shower despite multiple complaints.
3) Shower was clogged and even when it was fixed it was still slow draining.
4) The hotel staff is very rude and unresponsive to our request to fix the issues.
Would never stay again nor advise anyone to do so.
3.7
Pros: Great Location (near Rialto Bridge)
Cons: 1) Not stable supply of hot water and fluctuations of water temperature in shower; 2) Bath drain clogged; 3) Broken bulb above the unit entrance (reported 3 times - never fixed); No room service provided and no garbage removed from the room for a few days; 4) Super-UNCOMFORTABLE sofa bed. We don't recommend this hotel.
3.7
Perfect position from Rialto bridge and San Marco square
We stayed in the apartment.. very costly .. no plates cutlery cups glasses bottle opener but the worst was no hot water after we’d been travelling in the heat all day .. staff were very friendly and did their best to help us settle in .. carried bags etc finally fixed hot water but it still ran hot and cold EVERY shower .. our second bed wasn’t made up when we arrived. I had to offer to do that to have it for first night but PERFECT position
3.7
Hotel was clean but very very outdated, the walls looked very old, furniture, elevator, showers, everything.
The only good thing about this hotel is the location, it’s very good.
Also it’s a hassle to get to your room, they give you 3 keys in total, and they are actual keys not cards, and you have to open one gate, then walk a few feet, open the door, and then get the elevator or stairs to your room and finally open your room…. They use some old style keys, so sometimes is very hard to open the door, I was like 15 minutes stuck trying to open it.
