Everything is good just the toilet light keep going off by itself and u need move or dance ,then the sensor will capture you then the light will on back,customer from 1 level up very noisy

Hotel was very convenient to the train station, 20 minute easy walk to old city. There are 5-6 stairs to get to reception and elevator. A few restaurants were within a 5-10 minute walk. Our room was on 1st floor and very small, closet space for hanging was very limited and only 3 hangers. Bathroom was very small as well, very small counter space for toiletries. The shower was a rainfall type and very nice. Beds were comfortable but the pillows were not. The room was very clean. Breakfast was just okay for 14 euro. 2 types of cereal, white bread for toast, croissants, whole fruits, scrambled and boiled eggs, bacon, orange and apple juice, coffee. The price for the room was good compared to most hotels in Salzburg and it met our needs just fine.

Great location for us. Walkable to main train station (8 min), walkable to food and shopping (5-10 min), old town (15 min). All our tours started within 10 min walk. Clean room, friendly staff, rooms were small, but great for the price. I would recommend.

Room was not all that great and unclean. Breakfast was terrible with flies on the food though the person managing was fast and quick. Everything was close by including station and points of interest. Will think twice to recommend.

We had some issues with the reservations (thanks to Expedia)…but the staff at the Lasserhof were very accommodating and went out of their way to make things right! The hotel is a bit dated in ways, but I love the “mom and pop” feel and personal attention of the staff.

The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed. Once stepped into the hotel, it’s smelly. The worst part was our room with mouldy and dust, heater and hair dryer with dust and green n blue mold. Bathroom ceiling and wall were mouldy too. We asked if there was any room for the second nite to change, of course the answer was NO.

A 3-star hotel if there ever was one. The good: location very close to Old Town, hotel staff are very helpful and breakfast is satisfying. The bad: room floor was very dirty and your socks would be black after an hour and heating did not work well

The hotel was a short walk away from the train station but this means a bit more of a walk to the old town (easily doable though, even with children). The breakfast was good and filled us up for the day ahead. The rooms were ok, however looked a bit tired and dated. Ours didn’t have a kettle, which was surprising, and there was no ventilation in the bathroom, which meant mould spots were inevitably visible. For a couple of nights it was fine but I doubt I’d stay again.

Stayed three nights. Chose for convenient location close to old town and parking, given difficulty to find more central hotels with parking. Whereas we parked in the multi-storey car park across the road the first night (hotel does reduced price tickets = €16, we were able to park the following two nights for free outside the hotel, as it was the weekend (free from 7pm Friday). Front desk welcoming and helpful. Big rooms with high ceilings and balcony. However, pillows were essentially non existent, and the beds were uncomfortable, meaning we found it very difficult to sleep. Note that you need to insert your door key into the air conditioning unit for it to work. Breakfast was ok but the buffet could have done with replenishing more regularly. Be there early if you want a croissant. As we were driving, we managed to see all the non central sound of music locations without doing the four hour+ tour, although best do some research in advance regarding how best to approach each, as not always obvious, plus we were able to take our time at each, including those in the old town.

Very friendly manager and staff. Rooms had all that you need for a comfortable stay. Great buffet breakfast with my booking. Close to train station, lovely walk or bus 22 will take you directly to the old town.

It was clean, the room was very good except for 2 things-the bed was not very comfortable, and there was a lamp which must have had an electrical short circuit as it flickered constantly. The breakfast was excellent, with helpful and friendly staff. Very convenient location, desk staff helpful and friendly. Great value.

This hotel is in good location, walking distance to Mirabel garden. The room is smaller from the picture in the website but is sparkling clean. It should have provided a kettle, I always drink hot water during the clod night. Overall are good. I enjoy staying here.

I booked a twin room for single occupancy but the photo that was displayed on the room details was nothing like the one i actually had. I had a tiny room with a single bed, it was quite smelly (the cushion stank), the wires were showing on the ceiling lamp and the shower tray was cracked. This room should not have been rented as these are H&S hazards. On the positive note, the hotel is only a short walk from the station and the breakfast is nice, but i would not stay there again. It was a disappointing experience.
