The bathroom was not clean. The shower had hair in it and the toilet was not very clean. We had a non smoking room but the odor of cannabis was overwhelming. We stayed for a hunting trip and for the price I can't really complain. I guess that's why it's a cheap place to stay.

it was clean enough. it was a step above a hot sheets motel.

Sketchty, and outdated
Cobwebs, falling down ceiling plaster

Please do NOT advise anyone to stay there. The room was so filthy I spent two hours cleaning and spraying for bugs. The bathroom had burn marks on the sink and light switches. The towels and wash cloths were unusable because they were stained and dingy. I didn't have a broom to sweep the dirty floors. A couple was fighting and yelling call the police. Others were just arguing and yelling. Will never stay again. Please do NOT recommend the Cambridge Inn. They will not help you or refund your money.

This place was extremely dirty, especially in the bathroom.

Very average hotel, decent size room, good service. Good value for the money.

I was given the wrong keycard for our room number, come to find out that the room was completely out of order and the front desk couldn’t get the door open. He then needed to guess with multiple key cards for other doors that were nearby until he found one that worked. As we were walking back outside of the room we could see someone completely black out drunk on the floor in pour hallway (and he was homeless). As we got to the entrance of the building on day 1 there was throw up on the floor and the next day after it was still there being completely ignored by the cleaning crew. Our shower curtains had mold on the inside of them and the room was only lit u by 3 lamps that needed to be turned on manually. Our bathroom door wouldn’t shut due to the door being slightly bigger then the frame of the door.

Dead bugs throughout the room. Stains and hair on the bed. I'm not picky but this room was so gross I turned around and found another hotel. I'm still waiting to learn if I can get a refund. Find any alternative to staying here.

Large property, exterior remodeled, but interior and large parking lots need work. Convenient liquor store attached.

What an absolutely disgusting hotel. Dirty and stained bed sheets. Dirty floors. Marijuana being used throughout the entire hotel and you could not escape the smell. Bugs on floors in doorway poor lighting and security risks. Wires hanging out of 1970’s era chair cut my hand.
I can’t even list it all. Save your money and keep driving.

Tied for worst hotel experience in 40 years... Shower curtain was covered in mold and mildew - a health hazard! There was a homeless woman apparently living in the halls and stairwell that would not move out of the way for us to use the stair. There was no one at the front desk when checking out between 8 and 9am. And someone had spent the night on the couch in the lobby.
I attempted to contact management through Expedia and received no response.
Avoid this hotel!!!

Desk clerk was very nice. Hallway carpets were dirty, carpet in room was stained, coverlet on bed was stained. Beds were surprisingly comfortable. Bathroom sink finish was pitted, large black mark in tub. We were also unaware that there were unhomed families residing there. Lots of noise in the parking lot late at night. If there had been anywhere else that had available rooms in Cambridge, we would not have booked there.

You get what you pay for. Basic accommodations. Room had damp smell. Lighting in room is harsh and florescent. Wifi is terrible. I would not recommend unless you are desperate.

This place is a health hazard, the sheets were dirty, full of hair and bugs. There were cockroaches all over the room and bugs. Nothing worked in the room, not the phones or the TV I wasn’t able to reach anyone who worked at the place I couldn’t sleep at 5 AM. I had enough and went to the front desk. The door was locked And the person who worked that night was sleeping on the couch

The room seemed clean. The problem was the overall look and feel of the property. Very old property. Probably has had a few owners. No locks on the outside of the main entrance doors. I did not find an elevator. We were there for the Ironman race. While other properties were full, this one had very few occupants. We did not stay a second night, for which we paid, because there was only one vehicle in the parking lot besides us. Although the room was fine, the property did not seem safe. I would never go back. The staff person at the front desk was friendly.

Hallway smelled like smoke. Room smelled fine but was noisy and very dirty. Multiple cigarette burns in the sheets that I only noticed after already having slept in them. Crumbs and chips on the floor when I came in. Refrigerator did not work. It was a cheap stay for the night, but next time I’ll probably fork over the extra $50 to stay at the Holiday Inn down the street.

Dirty hotel. Very poor condition. Rooms not cleaned well. Please remove this hotel from your list of hotels in the area.

The police had to break up noise and disruption - need we say more.

The property is old but it's clear the staff cares about it and keeps it as clean and neat as possible. My complaint is that the other "guests" were so loud I had to wear earplugs to block them out. There were arguments, doors slamming continuously, and a baby was crying well into the night with adults who thought the best way to quiet the poor child was to tell the baby to "shut up". Also, there was no remote control for the TV in the room.

Place was a dump . Very dirty. Ok for just overnight but wouldn’t stay any longer

Horrible location, if you like sleeping on plastic covered beds it’s great. Overpriced, dirty sinks, just don’t stay there.

What did we like?
It was convenient to Downtown, Shops, Restaurants and easy to get to the Race (Ironman)
The Toilette and Shower where clean. Complementary Soap, Shampoo, Conditioner, Toilet Paper was provided
What didn't we like:
1) as we were a bit (1:30PM) early.
We knew check in was at 2PM, still we tried to see, if we could check in and there was no body to be found, at the reception desk.
We waited for 20min and still no one came. So we left for Lunch to try back later.
2) At first Sight, the Room seemed clean.
We then, checked the Room, while unpacking our luggage, then we noticed, dirty Pillow Sheets with Hair and Stains on it.
The Drawers from the Cupboards, where dirty insight.
All Surface areas, where spotty and had water rings, from previews ??? Hostel Guest ???
The Bathroom Sink Surface, was also spotty and slimy.
The Bath Towels had Stains, where old and paper thin. We couldn't properly dry ourselves.
Solution
We did exchange the Pillow Sheets and also got my Disincentive Wipes out, to clean the surfaces and made it work for our 2 night stay.
The surrounding back Parking Lot was shady, with ppl hanging around, you could tell, they probably do not have a Room there, or maybe they did, as the overall conditions of our Room, made us think that.
NOTE :
We usually do not expect much and are contend with a lot, but when you pay for a Hotel Room, it should be turned around and cleaned after the last Guest.
We did not experience that at all.

The place was not that clean the only had the bedspread and one sheet, there was cigarette burns in the bathtub, we stayed there because it was the only place we could find that was convenient to the Iron Man race, they had audacity to charge us $120 extra per night versus the normal rate. We didn’t even stay the third night because he just couldn’t sleep in the bed again I would never come to this place I would not recommend it. I will definitely be looking for some type of compensation.
The guy at the front desk all the very nice every time we needed something it was like pulling teeth

The room had a horrible smell. No option to set a do not disturb sign on my door but it didn’t matter because in 3 days I was there the room was never cleaned. The sheets and comforter smelled so bad to the point I had to use my clothes to cover myself up. The room doors/walls were so thin I could hear the man next door to me snoring. Do not recommend at all!

Place was a total disaster. The man working the front desk was very nice, but overall the hotel was a disappointment. Despite being in a non-smoking room (marked as such on the door), the entire room REEKED of cigarette smoke. The toilet didn’t flush, there was no bathroom trash can, no towel rack, and no shower curtain liner (and the shower curtain was not only dirty, but was backwards and not fully on the rings). The floor was linoleum which made for a very loud room, and light poured in from under the door at night. There were holes in both the comforter and the mattress, hair on the bedding, something (poop? Chocolate? Booger?) smeared on the walls, a dead phone line, no wifi, a dead cockroach on the floor, and our smoke alarm beeped from low batteries. When we went to the front desk to ask for new batteries, none were available and we were advised that “since you aren’t smokers, just remove the battery since there is no danger” which I think is illegal?? Overall it was a place to stay, but at what cost. Won’t be returning.

It was convenient location clean and friendly staff.

The room was clean, but the building common areas were filthy. This is what I would consider a functional hotel…I had no problem staying overnight there but would not bring my family.

This property was much better than the online reviews. The room was very clean. The bathroom and shower were in good condition. They provided soap and shampoo and even vacuumed and changed our towels while we were out on the second day of the stay. However, there was a broken outer door. The room I stayed in had a musty oder from water leaking from a fridge on to the carpet. These are simple fixes. Good value for the money. I would return with friends.

This was a filthy place. My shower had hair in it, the floor was littered with hairpins and dust bunnies. There were no blankets for the beds and the bathroom sink was foul. The toilet barely fushed.

I have never been the victim of such false advertising. The condition of this place was something you would see in a Third World country. Department of health should be notified and this property should be taken off of your website. My plan is to get in touch with customer service because I have pictures to prove my experience. The pictures on your website to know justice to the condition of this awful, awful, awful place. I checked my bed for a bed bugs, so worried as I have for my son, and for myself. The smell of smoke is gagging throughout the hallways. Shower curtain is disgusting and falling apart and half hanging. The paint is peeling off the handrails and the doors. They’re terrifying, stains all over the bathrooms near the toilet. The hallways are so disgusting and scary that I would not leave the room without someone if my life depended on it.

The smell was terrible and there were dead bugs all over the bathroom. But the staff was friendly and they even called when I mistakenly left a tablet in the room.

When we arrived the lobby was completely empty. We walked the entirety of the location and there was no one there at all. After about 15 or more minutes of waiting a car pulled up and the front desk person finally showed up.
Without even apologizing or acknowledging that he was absent, he took our reservations. Upset but tired, I took the keys and went to the room. As we arrived to the room, we saw several dead cockroaches right outside of the door.
As soon as we came in, we saw even more cockroaches that were alive crawling throughout the room. Immediately walked out and asked for a refund. Without even arguing he immediately issued the refund, which tells me he must've already known about the issue and was hoping I didn't notice.
Terrible customer service, very dirty location.
