All was lovely
Took long time to get food at restaurants
1.5
Staff were polite, courteous, friendly...a few more than others.
We liked having a little patio by the infinity pool.
The constant barrage of loud music, outdoors, in eating areas, bar areas, even in the indoor pool area (with showing of movies above the pool and the pool area cluttered with lounge chairs and volleyball net above, just WAY TOO MUCH!). You just couldn't get away from the constant noise. Very difficult to just sit, walk anywhere and enjoy peace and quiet and beauty of surrounding nature.
Also, food service at Water's Edge Restaurant was very disappointing.. for 3 days in a row, we waited for upwards of an hour or more for our breakfasts to arrive. We were told the kitchen was backed up with many orders. If that was the case (though we were among few customers in early morning), the management should look into hiring (or managing kitchen staff) better.

We had a wonderful stay for Thanksgiving: the swimming pool, the game room, plus all the seasonal activities were really appreciated by kids and parents!

There was a champaign cork under the TV stand and the robe were chincy. We were both expecting robes (there were none until we asked) and the ones that came were thing and not luxurious.

Pretty pools
Bed in room was broken. Wasn’t able to have it fixed until the second day, late in the afternoon. The frame was busted and the board under the mattress was broken in half. We were told we would have a new mattress because the mattress had buckled in the middle. That never happened.

Location, on the water
Their definition of handicapped accessible is grab bars in the bathroom. The shower/bath was not accessible (regular bathtub). They also need to be honest online and tell people that the handicap rooms do not have a balcony where you can sit and do not have a waterfront view. I was told that they couldn't make any promises which meant to me that there was a chance we could get handicap accessible and waterfront. There are no waterfront handicap rooms and that needs to be directly stated on the website in aditiin to stating exactly what acommodations there are for handicapped people.
4.5
Comfort, family atmosphere, amenities.
Cost of food at restaurants.

It was very clean. They think of everything! Multiple food stands, activities and games for kids, great relaxing spaces for adults.
The buffet could be a little better

Location, view
Was advertised as a disability room. It is far from that. The toilet is too low. The shower was movable but placed in the highest position which I cannot reach. There was no shower stall. Just tub which I could not get in because I can,t lift my new knee that high yet.

clean, staff very helpful

Nice view and big room
Too many kids in the pool and hottubs so we could not use them. Everything very overpriced.

THE STAFF WAS PLEASANT AT ALL TIMES. I ENJOYED THE SPACE AND CLEANLINESS OF THE ROOMS. THE VIEW WAS REALLY NICE.
I WASNT AWARE THE PROPERTY WAS GOING THROUGH UPGRADES. THERE WAS NO NOISE. HOWEVER, THE MAIN PART OF THE HOTEL DID LOOK OUTDATED FOR THE PRICE. I WISH I KNEW THIS PART.

Location, Comfortable Room, Staff, Dog Friendly, Great Breakfast
We returned after a few years for a needed relaxing weekend. I was mostly looking forward to sitting in the hot tub and my husband was mostly looking forward to a spa visit. The “hot tub “ was lukewarm both days and not only that a woman had a baby under 1 years old in a diaper IN the “hot tub” on Saturday. We went on line and called a week and a half before our arrival to schedule a massage for my husband and nothing was available until well into the next week!!!
We were able to get a reservation for dinner in the Waters Edge Grill on Saturday night but I wish we didn’t! We had to wait 45 minutes past our reservation time and the corn chowder soup of the day and my ribeye steak was literally inedible. I could barely cut it with a steak knife!
We talked about having a family reunion at this Hyatt Regency like we used to but now I’m not so sure! It’s a shame because it’s a beautiful property!!

The breakfast was excellent as well as exercise area.
There were no entertainment offer at location.

Resort was even better than anticipated. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Loved the pool and both outdoor hot tubs were open. Plenty to do and tons of quiet spaces if you just want to sit and read or look at the water.
Only complaint is that the food in the restaurants could have been better for the price.

Clean, spacious rooms, great location.
Substandard food at the restaurant; lack of response to the request for foam pillows, noisy environment (dogs and young children).

Can’t see anything particular stood out that I liked. Sorry.
it was cold, and just didn’t seem like a friendly place to be

The food at the Waters Edge Grlle was horrible! Whoever was in charge Christmas Day should find another career! The rockfish was the size of a McDonald’s fish sandwich wit no flavor. What is was serve with was disgusting! The crab cakes were the size of crab balls, over fried and dry, no flavor at all. I’m very surprised the Hyatt would would operate this way. This restaurant should be shut down!
CLOSE!!

This would have been a perfect 10 except for two things. First, I reserved a water view room and got a view of the parking lot. So tired when we got there that we didn't raise a fuss. Second, the fire alarm went off a couple hours after arrival and we had to evacuate into the cold. The staff told us nothing nor did they offer any compensation. What happened? Did they need to offer a free room voucher? No. But a cup of coffee or hot cocoa would have been good.
