The hotel managed the COVID factor very well indeed with visible extra cleaning taking place both inside and the pool areas (sun loungers). The room was very comfortable indeed and again kept very clean. We felt very safe and both guests and staff adhered to the mask wearing protocols. The hotel is well positioned as we like to walk into area rather than step into them but is only a 15 min walk to the main strip.
Food at the evening was exceptional both in quality and choice. We went half board but we had the option of having lunch rather than dinner which gave us the flexibility of eating out.
Plenty of nightly entertainment available with a variety of acts and black jack and pool tables.
Staff were very helpful when needed and we experienced nothing that would keep us from revisiting.
Would recommend the sea view rooms and the higher the better.

Enjoyed adults only , so was. nice and peaceful . Nice hotel but requires some updating in the rooms . Food buffet was ok lots of choices but some food was bland. Staff friendly, entertainment in the evenings which was ok. Lovely big swimming pool but was so cold , needs some heating.

Beautiful place. Excellent food. We stayed half board - the variety of food for both breakfast and evening dinner was excellent - so much variety and beautifully laid out. Each evening, there was a different theme for dinner so eating was delightful.
Our room, whilst specious and with a fine sea view, was a little dated but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have no problem recommending this hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing holiday.

An amazing hotel. As the hotel is on the sea front, there are amazing views from the property. There is a path leading from the hotel, along the sea front, that takes you directly to Playa Blanca which is a beautiful walk. Staff were extremely kind and helpful, peppery was spotless, A/C in room worked great, and the food was good too.

The hotel could do with freshening up in places but what makes it is the staff. There is a friendly atmosphere and it feels stress free. Food is good with enough choice for everyone. There are facilities to be active or just relax and the beach or main town are within walking distance

Fabulous adults only hotel, approximately 15 minute walk from resort centre. All inclusive option with premium branded spirits ( purchase option before arrival as more expensive in hotel ). Stayed in room 416, a double room with seaview, on the same floor as reception.
Excellent food quality with different themed night every evening. Live entertainment every night in main lounge, plus in lobby bar, a pianist, guitar vocalist or sax player.

This is a huge hotel, 350 rooms, so if you are looking for a quiet breakfast, this is not the place for you
The room we received was disgraceful: the furniture was broken, the bathroom old, a smell of cheap detergent
After asking, the room was upgraded to a better room
The use of the safe and the fridge in the room requires extra payment

Very relaxing. Lovely surroundings and very well maintained. Pool was very cold - much colder than the sea water at the local beach so we went there instead! Excellent food quality and choice but lacking in quality of wines, bar service and seemed quite short staffed all round. Watch out for additions to your bill! We were charged for 2 safes (even though it took 3 trips to Reception to get the right combination lock for the safe!) and for 2 towels!! They were added to our bill on the last day ( they said it was a deposit!) Seriously - I don't understand why the towels are not readily available at pool or in the rooms! We needed translation service to understand what the charge of €40 related to! Queueing at reception seems ridiculous for a hotel of that standard. Overall, with a slightly different approach from management this hotel has potential to be best in class.

Weather a bit of a disappointment but when we asked for an extra blanket and heater it was there and on the bed for the duration. Great facilities, room well proportioned and hotel well positioned to Playa Blanca (about 1.5 miles) walk along a beach promenade. We walked this most days. Hotel facilities and staff made this holiday; a wide choice of food/snacks always available. Try to miss the rush hour and the experience is even more pleasant...prices were very reasonable for a 4* hotel. The only downside for such good inclusive facilities was that we were asked to pay for the room safe...could not quite understand the logic here and it seemed just unnecessarily penny pinching. Apart from that could not fault the whole experience and will certainly return.

We had a relaxing and comfortable 10-day holiday in this excellent hotel. We wish we could have stayed longer and hope to return next year! The evening entertainment in the Disco Bar could have been better but the daytime activities were well run and very enjoyable. Housekeeping service was also excellent and our room was spotless! The main restaurant had a varied selection of good food for breakfast and dinner (we stayed half board).

We have stayed here before and always recommend The H10 Timanfaya Palace to everyone. The whole hotel is clean and decorated to a high standard. The service is excellent. The restaurant is fantastic and food is of high quality. We like the location, which is a short walk to lots of shops.

A great resort, very comfortable. We had a nice large ocean view. Food was good, but all buffet style unless you pay extra for the restaurant. I recommend half board so that you can spend a meal outside the resort each day. I stayed here with my girlfriend in early December, we are both 25, and I would say that we were the only ones in our age group for most of our stay. The resort is popular with 50+ at least during that time of year, but it did seem to get younger as we moved toward Christmas and kids got out of school.

This hotel for couples! The building is impressive, clean and in good condition. The location is great, right on the coast with walks to resturants, shops and cafes along the coast in both directions. The staff were friendly and helpful. We booked for bed and breakfast (the breakfasts were lovely) however I would not recommend half board or fully inclusive as the self service 'cafeteria' atmosphere in the main resturaunt is not very relaxing or romantic!
The pool area is lovely with two pools and plenty of sun and shade. The gym was not good - no treadmill, old machines which I couldn't adjust, and no air conditioning so very hot.

The best thing about this hotel for me was the food. A fantastic selection which was different event day meant we never got bored. The weather was not fantastic whilst we were away (first week in Jan) which meant that we could not take full advantage of the pool. The pool itself looked very inviting and there were plenty of sun beds. In the summer I imagine this would be fantastic.
There were lots of demonstrations and activities each day to take part in, we especially enjoyed the tortilla making demonstration and the sangria making demonstration. There was also plenty of evening entertainment.
The hotel staff, especially the restaurant staff were outstanding, very attentive and friendly and helped add to the overall experience. The restaurant had plenty of seating and there were always seats available.
The room was very comfortable and clean with a massive bed and spacious bathroom. I really enjoyed my stay here but I would recommend avoiding the winter months as the weather was not great. All in all a wonderful holiday thanks to everyone at H10 Timanfaya Palace Hotel.

Overal we had a lovely time during our stay. But, it would have been nice to receive a detailed welcome pack as we found that comunicating with staff was a little difficult.
We would have also liked to know of the costs of meals if we were able to book, as on this visit we did only book b&b, but, would def, consider half-board to fully inclusive next time.
Some staff were a little vague although again maybe due to language barriers, And Some, especially the waitresses and entertainment staff were 'EXCEPIONAL' which made our holiday memorable, huge thanks to them and hope they are still there next time we come xx

We booked this hotel for a short 5 night break before Christmas and although our room did not have the best view (partial seaview) it was modern, clean and comfortable. We had booked for the cheapest room and were pleasantly surprised by the standard and size of the room. The only negative thing I could say, which was not the hotel's fault, is that at times the couple next door had their flat screen t.v. on a little loud.
What we were the most impressed with is that on arrival we noticed that there were no kids! We later found out that the hotel was being offered by Thomson holiday company as a couples hotel. For us, this was wonderful news.
The hotel has 2 pools, both impressive to look at but cold! There is an outside jacuzzi too, which more people were in so it must have been warmer. There was a reasonable gym and sauna too, and activities were organised if you wanted to take part.
The hotel is on a lovely promenade where you can walk either way for miles beside the sea. It is a lovely quiet location but only about 15 minutes from a much busier part of Playa Blanca if you want it.
The food was plentiful, all buffet style, and there was enough choice for anyone (including my fussy vegetarian husband).
We found the drink and food prices were cheaper than those outside of the hotel, which is very surprising. The one meal that we did have out cost more and was not as nice as the ones we had in the hotel.
We will definitely be returning.

Lovely hotel and great location close to flamingo beach and. Few shops/restaurants. The reception staff were very helpful and the breakfast was great with lots to choose from. The only downside was lunch in the pool bar was disappointing and no tea/coffee facilities in the room. The rooms were also quite dark so hard doing make up and hair in the room while the bathroom was being used by my other half.

Very pleasantly surprised. We had a fantastic holiday and enjoyed the Timanfaya Palace Hotel. The room and sea view was great and the service very personal and friendly. There was a little decorating work taking place near reception but this had no relevance to the atmosphere or the rest of the hotel at all. Breakfast and food in general was lovely. The pool area and sunbathing wonderful...very comfortable and great views across the sea. Playa Blanca is about a 15 minute walk via the coastal walkway or you can stop en route for coffee... a further 15 minutes or so takes you to the Rubicon Marina which has a great selection of restaurants, shopping and a market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The airport is about a 35 minute transfer away. We aren't disabled but did notice that there was really good access and help for people who need this....ramps, swimming pool hoist, lifts etc. Altogether we really had a very relaxing holiday and would definitely come back here again...not something we would usually say as there is so much world and so little time!!! Hope you enjoy your time as much as us.

Stayed for a week and thought that the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The outdoor spaces were well maintained and very nice to use. The overall design of the hotelwas quite good.
The choices for breakfast was large but the quality was variable and the options remained the same all week.
The main pains during the stay were;
1. The surely and uninformed reception staff. They really wanted to be somewhere else and were not welcoming during check-in, did not give accurate information about Lanzarote tourist attractions, and then kept us waiting to check out when there was no one else to server.
2. Due to the thin walls and tiled floors, guests returning to their rooms in the wee hours did wake us up almost every night.
3. The limited wi-fi areas (no in room wi-fi) andslow internet speedswere annoying. Also you need a seperate log in foreachdevice you wish to use the wi-fi on.
4. The charges for the fridge and the safe in the room were quite unwelcome.
The main pluses were;
1. The ocean views.
2. Free parking.
3. Clean, comfortable rooms.

We have just returned from a great holiday to the Timanfaya Palace, The food was fantastic and there was a great selection and plenty to go round. the location of the hotel is great if you want a relaxing holiday it is right on the beach and about a 15 minute walk from the resort centre, so if you want sun relaxation, great facilities and good food this is the place for you

If you're not willing to get up at 07:00 to reserve a sunbed forget it !! A ridiculous situation when 100% of sunbeds are reserved with towels and only 50% in use. You escape the road rage of England to have it replaced with sunbed rage !!

The location is good, however I recommend to rent a car to see the island, its really worth it and it doesnt take long. Nice beach 100mts from the hotel. Its small but nice. All the seafront full of restaurants and shops. Easy to find anything. The service in the hotel is fantastic, all the staff is really friendly and helpful. Many facilities at the hotel. Various ways of entertainment, sports, music,... Very good food to be a buffet. Really happy in general. The hotel itself is really nice.

Exactly what you would expect of a 4* hotel. Dining room gets a bit crowded at peak times but otherwise good. Fair choice of meals at dinner and breakfast. Buffet service might be an issue if there were a lot of kids about. Superb location on seafront with great pool area but you've got to be early to get the best sunlounger positions. You can walk from the promenade by the hotel all along the sea front through Playa Blanca village to the Marina approx 3 miles away. Plenty of places to rest and drink along the way.

It's simply great - comfortable rooms, in a peaceful town just few yards away from the beach, surrounded by beautiful scenery, lovely food for every taste, very friendly, helpful and smiling staff. You are also given a chance to go on various tours to see the most gorgeous sites of Lanzarote. If you want to be looked after like royalty, this is a place to stay!
