Lovely stay in a sleepy little seaside town. Cottage was great with every amenity imaginable included. Quiet location only meters from the beach. Reception staff were very friedly and helpful and gave us some discount vouchers to use at several of the local eateries. The town itself was pretty quiet and pretty well shut down by 6pm, so not suitable for party animals, but great for a quiet, romantic getaway.

The spa in the room was excellent. Management were extremely obliging allowing us to get into the room a bit earlier as the weather wasn't too good.

I loved these cottages they were in close proximity to the ocean and the cottage themselves had plenty of room to unwind and enjoy your stay. The property surrounding the cottages is well kept. The folder on the table contains plenty of information to ensure you ensure your stay and find places to eat. I only wish I had stayed longer.

A quiet place to stay in and good for self-drive traveller, the cottage is a little old-fashioned but acceptable. I think the best part should be the friendly receptionist, thank you very much, lovely ladies.

This was a lovely and cute self contained room with a small kitchenette (fridge, toaster, microwave, kettle). There was also a corner spa, shower, dorma window and tv, which could swivel and be watched from the couch, bed or spa. The room required navigating some steep stairs which was fine for us but may not suit others. Checkin in and out was easy and staff were lovely to deal with.
4.0
Not impressed. The room had fluff/dirt all over the floor and toenail clippings on the floor around the table, we were given another room which was a downgrade to what we originally booked and paid for. There was no compensation for the downgrade. The replacement room had a pair of ladies Dirty underwear just under the bed and dirty dishes in the drawer, there was also brown scum around the shower which wiped off with a finger. The reception lady was made aware of the issues when we checked out, her reply was 'oh thats no good' and that was it. Definitely overpriced for the condition of the rooms.

Friendly owners who answered questions and provided assistance when requested.

The photos on the website give the impression of quaint little cottages and from the outside, which is correct. However, we stayed in Dove Cottage and when we entered the property, it was VERY tired and had a grubby feel about it. The bedroom smelt like stale urine but may have been damp carpet or similar? The fittings were mismatched and the overuse of grab rails, shower chairs etc gave the place a nursing home vibe, rather than a holiday home atmosphere. For a cottage that sleeps four, there is only one towel rail positioned directly over the toilet, and no additional freestanding rails as provided in other placed we've stayed.
We tried to use the ironing board and it was so cheap, unstable and rickety it felt as though it would fall apart. There were three dirty coffee mugs and some other mis-matched crockery and cutlery and the whole place looked like it had been fitted out through Op Shop purchases. The receptionist barely spoke when we checked in (certainly no real info on the local area), and only gave us a dribble or milk in a jug for three people which we used up with an afternoon coffee. We had to go and ask for more for our morning coffee and were treated as if we'd ask for an organ donation. Overall - just yuck and we couldn't wait to check out - so glad we only booked one night!

The cottage was super clean and located close to town. The electric recliner was a nice touch and the lady at reception went out of her way to assist with directions to tourist locations/places to eat and tips. Would not hesitate to stay here again. The oyster shack is only a 10 to 15 minute drive to enjoy some beautiful fresh oysters.

The property was quite quirky and homely. It was quite old style but the management have kitted it out well with facilities. The only real issue was being totally at the mercy of noise from adjoining units. I hadn't realised that the unit I booked had another upstairs so we could hear footsteps from above all the time and also when the upstairs neighbours were filling and running their spa bath....luckily they were reasonably respectful about timings.
