The room was clean and cozy, staff at the front desk was very polite, overall amazing place to stay. Definitely will come back.

I’d pay close attention to the mediocre reviews. The photos did not represent the unit we stayed. The unit was dark and tired. Bathrooms were uncomfortably small and the shower space was the smallest I’ve ever seen. It takes an awkward approach to exit the shower in the tiniest of spaces.

Condo was dated but well kept and clean. Front desk was extremely helpful with every question we had. A little dark even when lights were on .kitchen table and bathroom vanities were much lower than norm including the toilet. The area was beautiful and the free shuttle was outstanding. Get the # to call for shuttle and arrived in minutes for your transport. Obviously very hilly and walking down sidewalks fine but was nice to have a shuttle home to condo. They also provide to and from transport with tip including for you but you need to contact them before to find out what taxi to use at the airport arrival. Ask to arrange transport back to airport. Off season parking free if you rented a car. Many choices to fine and lots of shops for clothing and ski equipment. Nice outdoor spots heated as well. I give it a 4 star only because it is dated by very clean and has seen many many visitors.

The team at Laurelwood is super friendly and has been extremely helpful with all the questions we had and they went out of their way to make our stay memorable.

At first glance my room seemed very nice and comfortable, but I ended up having a terrible night there. The was absolutely no insulation from any sound from the room above. Based on pictures I thought I would be on the top floor, but I ended up on the second floor. The people above me were extremely loud until 1am, stomping around and slamming bathroom doors constantly, and also slamming the door going in and out of the balcony non stop and it echoed and made my whole room shake, I literally couldn’t sleep. It sounded like they were in my room being obnoxiously loud. I was getting up to go to Maroon Bells at 5am so was trying to sleep around 11pm. Also my bed had 3 different kinds of hair on the pillows (men’s hair, women’s hair, eyelashes), and the bed smelled like old milk. I ended up trying to sleep on the couch most of the night. There is also no a/c, which is fine but it was cool at night, but because I had to sleep with my windows open I heard the people above me even more as they were outside talking fairly loud half the night. Extremely disappointing, both the lack of cleanliness for the bed and the noise from others, it was unbearable.

First time at this complex and it did not disappoint. Friendly staff with an easy check in that proved to be helpful when I was missing an info sheet in yhe unit. Clean, cozy studio unit with moveable partition to create a bedroom. Well equiped kitchen but the only bowls available were not microwave safe and top rack dishwasher safe. Felt strange to not have a full set of dishes that could be used in the microwave or anywhere in the dishwasher. Patio area was big enough for 2 with the grill and it was perfect. Love the ski lodge interior enterances! Very quiet area and units as I didnt know there was anyone around me unless I saw them in the hall. Will most definitely be back as well as reccomend this property to anyone.

Let me start by saying that I love Snowmass village. Laurelwood has a great location, but sadly is not so great. And now for the issues. The unit does not have AC as is very common in the region. Windows open and a fan make it a perfect temperature. However- there was construction of a new building literally 15 feet from this unit. Construction noise to be expected, but loud music, talking, yelling-- it was impossible to be in the unit during the day with the windows or door open. Luckily we were gone during most of the day, so was not that bad. But now a bigger issue that never should ever have even become an issue. We arrived late one evening, and had a reserved pass to Marroon Bells early the next morning. My husband got up early that morning to take a shower. He could not figure out how to get the shower head to turn on. To put it in context- he is a contractor and does understand plumbing. So we called the after hours number to fix it. They said someone would call within 20 minutes. No one did. When we got back 6 hours later, I stopped by the office to get it fixed. He pulled out a laminated illustration showing where to pull down a ring under the faucet. When I asked him why dont you just tell people this on check in, he shrugged and said because some people don't have a problem. Obviously if they keep a laminated illustration handy in the office, this is not an uncommon problem.
So-- you have SO MANY OPTIONS in Snowmass, just go elsewhere.

Our unit had wonderful furniture for us. Nice bed and chairs but the condo unit next door is under construction. Those guys start working at 7am and they definitely wake you up! We are early risers but it was still annoying. Also, upgrade your toilet paper - one ply isn’t enough

Checked in after hours and left early next morning. That process was very easy

We really enjoyed our stay. Ian at the front desk was so thoughtful and offered to move our room due to construction occurring behind our original room. The other front desk staff were also accommodating and gave us plenty of information about the area from a local perspective. Thank you all!

Our unit was a little tired and oddly overdecorated. It had a weird smokey smell.

Excellent location with great views, close free parking, super friendly and informative front desk, and spacious yet cozy. The studio condo was really well laid out and it had a home-like feel. The shower was awesome, as was the bed - which are two things that I scrutinize any place I pay to stay!

We stayed at same property last year but in a different condo much nicer then. This condo was very dated and furniture needs to be replaced. Right outside this condo adjacent building is being renovated. Construction noise from 7:15 am until late afternoon every day except Sunday. Construction worker play music loudly add day long as well.

The only thing we didn’t like was no ac but it got cold at night so it wasn’t too bad

Location is great! Accommodations are adequate ... nothing special about the unit or complex and very cramped space because they jam too much or too large of furniture in a very small condo. No place to put luggage other than the floor and fireplace hearth. Decent value proposition for the price paid, but the pictures make it look better than it is. Don't go expecting great views off the small balcony. I will probably pay more for a nicer place next time.

This was a great place to stay and spend a few days for a family with kid.

Clean and well appointed unit with lots of pans for cooking and plenty of serving utensils/glassware. Only issue was the lack of an elevator since I had a large amount of heavy materials with me for work. An incovenience but may be more of an issue to the less mobile.

Snowmass is high and Laurelwood is high above.

It was a nice stay. We were able to relax and enjoy the scenery. Very few people around us so it was quite.

This condo is clean and has a kitchen with all the utensils you need. It’s close by the village where restaurants and shops are located but it’s a work out walking up the hill. They offer bus transportation but we didn’t get a chance to use since we only stayed for 2 days. Parking is included which is great.

Location is great and communication overall good but unit is noisy. Construction right across unit, bad smell, roof has noise all night (birds, rodents). No Ac.

The room was great with a full kitchen, nice balcony, great bathroom, and a two minute walk to Snowmass mall for shopping and restaurants. Easy to catch the bus right across the street from the property. We definitely look forward to seeing at Laurelwood again.

The person that checked me in early morning didn't seem open to a lot of questions but otherwise my room was comfortable, quiet, had a fully equipped kitchen and was very clean. the property is also a 5 minute walk from several dining options and a few shops

Third time at Laurelwood - a well managed lodge with ski-in … and also ski-out if you don’t mind walking fifty feet in the snow. The staff are super nice and helpful. The units are roughly the same layout - just some more renovated than others. Shops and restaurants are a short walk downhill (and back uphill), however the free local buses are consistent if you prefer. All in all, a solid booking.

Perfect spot in Snowmass for everything. Great places to eat and drink and easy access to Aspen basecamp
