Excellent(247 Reviews)4.2
Excellent hotel. Staff were very nice and happy to help. Good quiet location, no problems getting a sun bed at all. Beach is next to pool area and is a mixture of sand and pebble. Breakfast was the "usual" buffet type. Both cooked and cold. It was of a better standard than the some other 5 star hotels we have been to. It is less than an hour from the airport, cost us less than 40 euro. If you are after a peaceful hotel this place is great!
4.2
We got upgrade to 2 tween beds room as a queen size room was so small even for 1 luggage plus bed was not queen size it was double. Heavy smoking smell on 3rd floor corridors. Old furniture, old comforters, not working floor lamp, no tea cattle in the room. Room looked like 3star motel. I'm so disappointed for money I pay for 5star hotel.
4.2
Staff is friendly, happy, helpful-a 5 star staff. Lobby floor also beautiful-5 star. Dining room is outdated, a design from the 1960’s. Breakfast was ok, frequent waits for refills. Coffee at breakfast is awful. For a reasonable coffee we had to wait for the bar to open and get coffee there. Room in need of remodel: plank floors turning up at the edges, toilet seat broken and yellowed with age. Shower curtain, no glass-a 3 star feature. The room AC was excellent. On the beach the first chair I sat on was broken, and the next chair had a torn cushion. Summary- We enjoyed our stay and the wonderful staff. Some of the hotel is very out of date on style and there are a lot of shortcomings on maintenance.
4.2
Wonderful staff, large rooms with balcony. Awesome swimming pool and bar. Few feet away from the sea.
4.2
Excellent location. Pool and beach area are the highlight of the hotel.
Highly recommended for families and couples.
We also liked the proximity to the local coffee shops, restaurants as well as the several cool beach bars nearby.
The food options at the hotel are plentiful and we loved the drinks. Reception staff are very professional and Konstantinos treats you like family!!

Excellent experience

Would come back

We stayed there while visiting Cape Sounion and enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable room with a great bed, and the location and view is hard to beat. The beach is also fantastic. Our only quibble is with the towels, which were a little small and a coffee machine would be nice, but those are small issues. We’d stay there again.
4.2
Nice hotel, clean, very good service at blue restaurants. Reception is ok, problems with English-speaking. The rooms are old but maintained. Pool & beach are great. Breakfast is so-so. Ni e plsce to relax.
Nothing to do around the hotel.
4.2
Beautiful, modern, clean hotel. Very large room with stunning views. Breach restaurant lunch was delicious, dinner was a big miss (how does a chef mess up basic pasta when they say that's their evening specialty). Skip dinner at the beach. Breakfast inside the hotel was very good.
4.2
The hotel has a great location to some of the biggest attractions and airport, the property has a very nice pool and beach access, only down side is the parking lot is very small. Also recommend add some Greek beer variety to the pool bar they only have lager.
4.2
Nice hotel. It was a little dated but clean. The beds were not very comfortable. We chose this hotel for our last night in Greece because of proximity to airport and the nice pool to let kids play before a very long travel day back to the US. When we got to the pool at 6:15pm, we were alerted the lifeguard was off so no one could swim. We talked to several people and eventually they let us swim at own risk, which was fine. Everyone was very friendly. Breakfast was delicious.

The room is long but narow. The bed to close to the cupboard, so hard to use it. The bed itself is very comfortable, under eiderdown we slep very well. The nightstands is large, but no bin, and no outlet for charging. There is sofa, but uncomfortable. The bathroom is spacoius, there is a lot of space aroung the washbazin. There is a tube, wich is qute narow. Teh balcony (see view room on 3th floor) was extremly large, but no sunbade on it, only seats. The building is very simple (boring), but the garden is beautiful. The pool is open from 9 to 18, not heated, in may it was app 20C, like the meer. The panorama to the bay is beauty. Next to the hotel there is an orignal greek taverna, so we di not tested the restaurant of the hotel. The breakfast is a good average, but not five starts. The hotel on the main road, but not noisy. On the opposite side of the road there shops, petrol station, tabac etc. But the building are really owfull. A little bit forward on the road to south there are a lot of nice restarurant, beach and motel.

It is a nice location and I enjoyed my stay there

Lovely outdoor area and great staff. Room was a bit tired. Shame no English TV channels. Fantastic sea view.

Although my wife and I went to one night it was excellent. We enjoyed every moment

Every thing was good

The property has not been updated for over 10 years. The Hall way rugs are stained and old looking. The Service from the Staff is not good. Get used to hearing "it's Not possible"
The only good thing about this hotel, is the views.

This hotel is a very exceptional resort. Very clean, the people are very welcoming and it’s right on the beach. Would definitely stay here again!

It was amazing. Great location . Beautiful beach with clean water.

The property should have a gift shop for guests. Nothing much around the property

It was nice stay no complaints whatsoever

I can't say enough great things about our stay here. The staff is very friendly; there are restaurants onsite, and the pool and sea are amazing. We got a sea view room, and the view was spectacular. We didn't want to stay down in downtown Athens in the hustle and bustle of things but wanted a more relaxing atmosphere. The beach at the resort is a private beach so there is plenty of space and chairs/umbrellas for guests. There is a pool bar where you can order drinks and lunch. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants this type of vacation. Here are a couple of things to keep in mind:
- I am from the US and am used to the service staff stopping by regularly to check on me, see if I want anything else, read the room, and figure out when I need my check. This isn't the case here. They pretty much leave you alone until you ask for more service. It is just something to get used to. So, if you want another drink or to order something more, you have to flag them down.
- We had the hotel arrange a ride from the airport to the resort for us. BEST DECISION EVER! The driver was super nice, and he primarily only works for 3 of the hotels out in the coastal area. So, he was available to us whenever we wanted to arrange a ride for other things. We scheduled 2 different tours with him to the Parthenon and to the Temple of Poseidon. One was 5 hours and he only charged 140 and the other was 3 hours and it was about 80. He also took us back to the airport.

Great property and location

Everything was perfect the hotel has private access to the sea , the issue no gym at the hotel but you can run and swimming instate

We traveled through Greece and stayed here to relax before returning home. The hotel was lovely and the staff were generally helpful. We chose this hotel because it stated laundry was available. It is not. That put a damper on our first day here. Otherwise the room, pool, sun beds and breakfast were a lovely way to end our time in Greece.

We chose to stay at the plaza resort hotel the last four days of our trip in Greece. Overall, it was a good experience. The best part was the beach and the convenient beach access. The breakfast was OK. Decent selection, but the eggs were cold every morning. Weirdly we were unable to leave the AC in our room on without leaving our key card (were only given 1) in a slot on the wall in our room. So the AC was only working while in the room. Luckily, after a quick phone call to the desk we were able to get an extra card and avoid this issue. The biggest turnoff was someone at the front desk tried to tell us that we wouldn’t be able to go to the Poseidon Temple in the morning as previously arranged with the hotel and that we would have to wait until the afternoon due to a strike. This sounded off and we could not find any information about a strike online. It was more like this was said because they had an arrangement with a taxi driver and getting a percentage. Be aware that most restaurants within walking distance are tourist traps. If you want to walk a few minutes further into the village, there are great authentic restaurants. If you are looking for a quiet beach getaway, you can see past some of the flaws it’s a good choice.

Great experience and lovely staff! Highly recommended!!

I cannot say worse things for this hotel - it smelled like cigarettes around the entire establishment, the bedding looks like it hasn't been replaced since the 80s, it took hours to get our food from the beachfront. Even the area around the pool is a slippery tile so it was extremely unsafe for our children and a few of them slipped. I highly encourage people to reconsider when selecting this hotel.

This is a great hotel, especially compared to the price. Its one of the few hotels in Greece that I actually agreed on the official stars (4.5). The staff is wonderful, and very service minded. The restaurant has really good food (and staff) and so does the beach restaurant which does serve a quite big menu. We had city view rooms, they are not big but it works. Clean and with friendly cleaning staff making sure you get the right amount of towels etc. The only thing I would say is that the shower solution (in a bathtub) is not really 4.5 star and somewhat dangerous for old people. It will cost the hotel very little to put a mat in every shower and a different shower solution so I would recommend them to do that. Other than that a great stay.

The Plaza Resort Hotel offers a true five-star experience. Our rooms were very spacious, clean and comfortable. Our view of the bay was picturesque, the pool was perfect, the bay so clear. We continually reminded each other that we were is paradise! The dining at the resort was outstanding as were the local establishments about a 10 minute walk. Delicious fresh local fare. Perfect relaxing beach vacation!
4.2
Good resort, beautiful beach, great access to other beaches, quit area, nice rooms, and friendly people. It was missing a gym.
4.2
We had a fantastic stay at the Plaza Resort! Staff was very friendly and helpful with travel! Rooms were clean , beds were comfy , food was tasty and the air conditioners were top notch!
4.2
My husband and I spent a week at the Plaza Resort in Anavyssos. It was absolutely beautiful! The grounds are GORGEOUS: green grass and trees give way to a fantastic pool and amazing beach side! The breakfast was delicious, inclusive of fresh fruits, eggs, greek yogurt, etc. The staff was beyond polite and eager to make our stay a pleasant experience! I would highly recommend this hotel and can’t wait to visit again.
4.2
I loved everything! Staff was amazing! Went above and beyond to help with all your needs.
Rooms were clean and so comfortable! I would go back in a second!
4.2
Overall good hotel, but definitely not a 4.5 star. Located in a good spot if you’re looking for great beach!!! Friendly & helpful staff, but lacked experience due to poor management & supervision, especially during breakfast. Rooms can use some updating for the prices they charge & poor wifi service.
4.2
excellent weekend city break just outside Athens on the beach
4.2
I expect to have few more facilities in 5 stars hotel
Gym is first
Mini bar in the room is second and cofee machine is the third
4.2
Nice hotel. Nice beach and plenty of bars down the beach. Food ok. They had no fish in restaurant prob because of bad weather . Great location. I hour taxi to Acropolis in Athens. Friendly staff.
4.2
they hotel is beautiful as the sea is suitable for kids. though, this hotel is not very organized and the staff is not well informed. I was disappointed with the staff service and attitude.
