Worth every star, clean and well organised. Perfectly located between the beach and the centre. The rooms have a fan but no A/C. That’s not necessary at all, because it hardly ever gets over 30 degrees. Parking close to the hotel is very hard, the large parking is 3 minutes away.

Stayed 2 nights and had poor sleep on both, one directly caused by the hotel processing a very early alarm call to the wrong room! The bathroom is only suitable for small children as the design is so poor that you cannot enter without banging your hands and you have to open and close the door to access the toilet which is very low and positioned so that you have difficulty in avoiding banging your chin on the edge of the vanity unit and banging your hand on the loo roll holder

This was my 5th stay at this hotel and they never fail to impress. The room was spotlessly clean daily, the bed is large and super comfy and the breakfast selection is vast, so something for everyone. I will return again in the future I hope!

Great hotel with a lovely salt water pool. Good breakfast buffet and plenty of sun loungers. Room was clean and well kept but would have benefitted from air con. The pool bar was ok but cocktails weren’t great... I’d go off site if you want alcoholic drinks. Easy walking distance to some fabulous restaurants and sea. Parking around the hotel can be tight but luckily we managed to get a space each time.

Location was not good. Too much noise from the streets. Sound proof within the hotel also not good. You could hear all the noise coming from above and below. No heating in the room or any thermostat to control the room temperature. Mattress cover was ripped to pieces. Although there was a TV, there was not a single English speaking channel. It was all in Spanish.

This hotel has everything going for it. Plenty of outside space, lovely clean rooms and public areas. A friendly but discreet personnel who are very helpful and eager to please. A great location and not so big to feel impersonal. Delighted with it choice, would definitely recommend.

Enjoyed my weeks stay, had a pool view room, my room was good size with large bathroom,nice and quiet. Friendly staff, 5 minutes only to beach. A couple of mini markets very close by. Within 5 minutes walk to restaurants,cafes and bars. Fairly quiet resort,but enough to enjoy,if you enjoy loud dance music you won’t find it here(good). Week I was there last week of August,very few British around,loads of Germans. This part of the island does get a lot of cloud cover but temperatures still good. Overall a good trip.

This is our absolute favourite place to stay, and we have visited multiple times. No idea why it isn't a 5 star hotel! The staff are wonderful and very accommodating - on our way back to the airport early in the morning they prepared us a picnic to eat on the way there as we were too early for breakfast. The rooms are very recently renovated and so comfortable. The food is amazing, always tasty. I truly love this place, wish we never have to leave.

Delightful hotel, wonderful staff, well presented rooms, very pleasant dining room, exceptional breakfast. Difficult to fault this lovely hotel. Very close to restaurant’s and bars, nice and close to lovely beach. The hotel has a beautiful swimming pool. The only thing that could have made it perfect is if the pool had been heated! This did not stop me enjoying swimming though.

No proper bar at hotel,couldnt even get a Bloody Mary as they didnt have tomatao juice!!!Breakfast is a bun fight,not enough tables.When you did get one table cloths were dirty.Always a queue for tea or coffee and very limited breakfast buffet.Room was spacious and clean though.The hotel is in a nice quiet location just 10 minutes walk to the centre.I personally would not return here.

We had a fantastic time there! The only thing they can improve on is the wi-fi which I could get only at reception, restaurant and on and off at swimming pool. No chance in the bedroom.Oh and no air conditioning in the bedrooms.

Very pleasant hotel. The bed was really nice snd comfortable and the room was clean and modern. Location is also great. Not exactly in the center but 6 mins walk which is better for finding parking space The only issue was not to have Wifi in the room.

The first impression was good. The breakfast was fantastic but the dinner was terrible, in the last 3 days we were out for the dinner. The staffs was very friendly but I can't understand how an hotel room has not wifi signal. I paid €15 to have wifi access and it's only available in the reception. The room cleaning was ok but the bathroom they don't clean very well. I really want to come back to Tenerife but will never stay in this hotel. Do not recommend.

This is a friendly, efficient hotel close to the old town and the sea. The rooms were well-sized, clean, each with its little balcony or patio, on which smoking was possible. One really good thing was the restaurant advice given us on first arrival. The receptionist recommended a traditional Canarian restaurant, Gemeloes and a fisherman's co-op owned restaurant Coffriria. Both were cheaper and far far better than the many tourist restaurants, slightly out of the way, but packed with locals, and often with queues out the door of people waiting for seats. My past experience is that hotels recommend restaurants from which they get kickbacks. This advice helped make our holiday - we would not have found these restaurants by ourselves. the hotel staff were also very helpful when one of us had an eye problem and had to get medical help.

From the moment you arrive at this hotel the customer service is excellent, nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is in a quiet part of the resort but only 5 minutes walk to restaurant and bars and the Playa Jardin beach which is made of soft black sand. The studio room was spacious and the bed was a super king size and so comfortable that it made it hard to leave each morning. The room was extremely clean with a huge wrap around balcony. Breakfast was buffet style with a good choice to keep you going until lunch! I really can not find any fault with this hotel and I had no difficulty parking my hire car in the hotel vicinity. A great place to stay.

On arrival we were given a studio room whereas we had booked a superior double overlooking the pool. The next day to his credit, the manager upgraded us to the suite in compensation. This room had an excellent view of the pool and the sea. The hotel rooms are being refurbished and from the pictures I have seen they are very good. The suite has not yet been refurbished so was a little tired and run down. I am sure it will be outstanding when it has been refurbished. The hotel is very quiet and the main visitors are from Germany. Everyone was friendly. Staff were excellent and could not do enough to help you out. Location wise the hotel is a 5 minute walk to the sea and the old town centre. Lots to see and do in Puerto de la cruz. Great for walking. Not brilliant for lying on the beach due to poorer climate than the south of the island and the black volcanic beaches.

Very nice staff which helps to hide the cracks as there is potential for this place but I think the lack of business means nothing will be spent on the hotel. Rooms need air con and a fridge. My drinks were warm every day and didn't sleep well due to being too hot. They also don't tell you about what the hotel offers such as a good gym which I would have used on the first two days given the overcast weather. Make sure you book transfers with your holiday as PDLC as at the opposite end of the island to the main South Airport so transfers cost me £50 per person each way. If more than 2 people you can get a private taxi as the fixed price is £110. Also considering hiring a car for the this cost. Supermarkets are excellent and offer good value for money. 70p for a big baguette, 45p for a small. £1 for a 2 litre bottle of Coke or Fanta. Lots of places doing deals so don't pay the extra for B&B or half board. It isn't worth it and you can walk to many cafes in 5 mins. The hotel in on a slight slope but easily to get up and down. The beach is 5 mins walk away too and offers the best option for sunbathing. Sunbeds on the beach are 3 Euros for the day.
