The staff were wonderful! They had a firepit with snacks and smores! They are pet friendly. The location is perfect. It is diagonal from The Spotted Trout. Very walkable to everything in Blowing Rock on Main Street. The Inn rooms are very roomy! Large bathrooms with its own heater. It was very clean. The towels are very soft. The beds are hard, but can be good if you have back issues. Our remote didn't work but that's an easy fix.

We stayed in the executive suite, which had a king bedroom with a fire place in both the bedroom and living room, a nice kitchen ding area with a large deck off the kitchen. It also comes with an extra bunk type room great for kids and teens and a nice sized bathroom. It’s says tub/shower combo but does not have a tub. It also has a sauna which was broken. We let the manager know about that and a broken lock going to the deck and she responded so quickly. Her and the other lady working there were so kind and attentive to everything. I can tell they are trying their best for the patrons. The issues of the hotel really fall on the owner. It really is such a cool suite, but in much need of some simple updating for their guests. The carpet is old. The mattress was so hard and cheap feeling could really use to be replaced. It felt like a display mattress that wasn’t really made for sleeping. The plus is the kind management, the super awesome location, and the mountain cottage feel of the suite. I’d love to stay here again but we can’t face sleeping on that mattress and not getting a good nights rest.

Bed was terribly hard. Floor was dirty and needed to be mopped. Feet became very dirty just trying to get dressed after showers. We’ve have stayed at much better establishments for less money than we paid for our trip. We spent two nights. Very dated room. Leaky shower faucet, closet light (which provided majority of light for the room) and fan above bed was powered on the same switch. Turning off light left us without the fan.

This is our third time at The Ridgeway. It is quaint and convenient. The staff is so kind and accommodating. Great communication and ready to assist with any need.

Booked this room on a motorcycle trip with a friend. Was texted a door code to access room before arriving. This was great and very convenient. The location is perfect. There was a nice deck outside the room we sat on and had a few drinks. I would highly recommend this property. It was very good!

It certainly looked clean but the floor hadn't been mopped and the white tile bathroom floor was visibly dirty with shoe marks. We arrived after hours and we were only staying one night. The office didn't open til 10am (hours are 10-6) so we couldn't request anything or access more creamers and coffee pods for morning coffee. It was keyless check in so you're on your own. The microwave wasn't plugged in and it took some moving the fridge it sits on to plug it in. The body wash they provide is enough for one person. Room 101 is on the end and sits on the street... it's noisy from the cars and trucks all day and night. The beds were comfortable but the headboards or wall behind it smelled musty. The place has a musty, moldy smell but that's due to age I'm sure. You get what you pay for and this was on the lower rate end. Buyer beware. We wouldn't stay here again.

Always stay here when I come for the horse show. SO convenient and the rooms are so quaint and have character. Staff extremely accommodating for anything you need.

This was a place I will absolutely return to in the future. Under new management, this place deserves all the stars, as it was very clean, comfortable, and the check-in/out process was painless and contact-free. Staffed with friendly folks who don't intrude at all and are happy to help answer questions it was refreshing! It's in downtown historical Blowing Rock, which means it's a convenient walk from pretty much all the best places to eat and explore (my son loved the park), as well as a short car ride to a slew of cool things to do in the greater area. Again, I would give it a hundred stars if possible - and I definitely will be going back.

Amazing location, clean, large room, comfy bed! Everything is within a 2-5 minute walk, downtown right around the corner, shopping, dining, cafes, bakery, a hiking trail! Would stay here again, reasonable rates!

This Inn is in the PERFECT location in the heart of Blowing Rock. You can walk to everything. The check-in was easy, room was clean & quiet and everything in perfect condition. We truly enjoyed our stay and would stay here again!

Everything about our stay at the Ridgeway Inn made our weekend getaway enjoyable and satisfying. The check-in was easy, the suite was clean, comfortable, and inviting. Every staff member was friendly, courteous, and accommodating. We definitely plan to return here the next time we travel to Blowing Rock. It is conveniently located and a great bargain for the area. I couldn't recommend it more highly for a couple's getaway.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Ridgeway Inn! Our suite was very unique. We had plenty of space and everything that we needed for us and our dog. The property was quiet and an easy walk to all that downtown Blowing Rock has to offer. We will certainly be back!

Experience was wonderful. Perfect location for shopping and dining in Blowing Rock. Staff always spoke and asked if we needed anything each time we saw them. Also, within a couple of hours of check out I received a personal text letting us know we left something in the room and asked if we would like them to mail it or stop by if we were still in town. We were still in town so we picked up the item. Most hotels would have just placed the item in lost and found bin.

Inn was very clean and super adorable, staff were very friendly and helpful. My wife left something behind and they mailed it back to us at no charge. Great place to stay in an amazing area, we will definitely stay there again!

Property was great! My only "down comment" is the step leading into the kitchen. My older Mom tripped 4 times over it despite the watch your step sign. From an insurance person's perspective, its a liability. Maybe the sign needs to be more at eye level? Other than that, I would definitely stay again (without Mom). Very convenient location. Thanks!

The inn is located in the heart of Blowing Rock and is in the process of a remodeling. Overall, it was a great stay. The remodeling and upgrades are nice. However, they allow pets and the person next door had a dog which would not stop barking on the second morning.
