It was ok, the little town

Great location, quiet bit a stroll away from the cotiy centre and restaurants. Super friendly staff. Restaurant is very good and great pricing. Viands for tours can be ordered the night before, are generous and great value for money too.

Clean, the dinner price is very good and testing.

Great staff. Good location

Breakfast not good.

Facilities a bit old and run down, but still liveable. Breakfast was a little too sweet, mostly cakes and sweet breads.
Receptionist is friendly and helpful, helped us with the booking of taxi to El Calafate Airport. There is a shortcut to the main town, which is pretty convenient, about a 8 minute walk down to the town but a bit challenging to walk at night.... roads in el calafate are pretty muddy.

You should write the bad things of the hotels also so that we can make a proper judgement when choosing accommodation

Check-in was a cold experience, the room reeked of air freshener so we immediately opened the window despite the cold weather to try to air it out a bit, carpet was gross and bed was hard, cant comment on the shower because we woke up to a power outage that seemed to be limited to just this building and it didnt feel worth it to shower with a headlamp on. To their credit they still served breakfast by flashlight/candle, it was standard fare. Wouldnt stay here again - there are better institutions and locations near restaurants/shops for comparable prices.

The location far away from the center you have to take a taxi all the time, the restaurant at the hotel was closed and a very old equipment

The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was adequate and similar to others we experienced travelling through Argentina (heavy on carbs/pastries and cafe con leche). The street the hotel sits on is one where construction has stalled on several projects. Luckily it is a quick walk to all the restaurants and shops.

Clean room, very modern, all amenities. Good buffet breakfast. However disappointing front staff. At check-in the front staff did not explain properly how the lights worked in the room and at check-out front staff did not book taxi when asked to the night before. He reassured me that he would book the taxi service the night before but he did not and I had to organize another taxi last minute and was late for flight. Not good

Staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. It was a short walk to the center which made the hotel location convenient. My only concern was that the walls were paper thin, so it made the hotel a bit noisy.

Nice hotel and friendly staff. Located close to the mountains with only a five minute walk to the city. As we did not pay much for the hotel we had pretty low expectations, but we enjoyed our stay.

Had only one night, but really enjoyed it. Big rooms, clean, hot water, good breakfast and good wifi. Can't complain about anything and would stay there again.

The room we got is a bit dim because of faulty bulbs, which looks like has been this for ages. Hotel refuse to change the room or replace the bulbs. Continental breakfast with no fruits. Used to be part of Best Western hotel chain, Eco Vista. A bit far out (15 - 25 mins walk) from the city center. If you arrive from the bus terminal, quite unlikely you will find this place by walking as it is on a hill and you need to climb some flights of stairs.

A bit of walk needed to go to the center.

Faulty lights not replaced. Room looks dark. Breakfast is the same everyday. No hot foods or fruits for breakfast. Bed is alright but no housekeeping unless you requested for it. Hotel a bit far out from the town center, about 15 - 20 mins walk down the steel staircase.

Almost everything was OK, but nothing special. And one bad experience. We had a morning bus from El Calafate before the breakfast, so we asked them, if they can prepare them for us earlier. Despite the fact that they told us that the breakfast will be ready, they were not. In the morning there was just one guy who does not spoke English. He was preparing the breakfast for the regular time, so we had only that what he can prepare before we leave...and he was not interested in our earlier leaving.

we were there only as a stopover to see the Perito Glacier, so did not expect much.
To be more comfortable with better facilities, then we recommend another hotel.

Ok place to stay. Walking distance to town. Looks daggy from the outside, rooms overheated.

I was four nights in July, the hotel is in good conditions and close to everything.

Oneof the person in the reception very nice guy , but the rest very rude, the blond guy very rude and one lady at the kitchen too, instead the "fat boy" was very nice
