Lovely hotel in Orvieto, with a rooftop deck and rooms with balconies. Very good breakfast spread. Overall, loved it! Hope to be back!

Grand Italia is a very well located, comfortable, very well maintained 3 star tourist hotel. No frills, but not without charm.

Good night's sleep!

Friendly, professional service, great location, and a generous breakfast.

Pleasant personal excellent buffet hard working staff.
4.0
Clean, spacious rooms. Noisy, chatty staff in halls. Insulting breakfast: cold eggs and coffe. No replenishing; if eggs were gone by 08:30, you’re out of luck. Do not book if the breakfast is a draw.

Clean, comfortable hotel in the center of Orvieto. Very well located. Buffet breakfast was just ok.
1.0
Air conditioning broken in both rooms, had to be downgraded to get rooms with AC. Dirty bath towel left folded in bathroom. Overall terrible experience and in no way should this hotel be listed above 2 stars
2.5
Lovely Historic Town with a great Duomo.Nice craft beer bar called Fredo
2.0
Nice location in the heart of historical part of Orvieto. Good breakfast. Quiet and clean room of OK size (double).
3.0
Great location with easily accessible parking. Close to good restaurants and tourist sites. Rooms were simple and tidy.
The front desk staff were the least welcoming and most unfriendly we’ve encountered in Italy. It seemed like an inconvenience every time we approached the staff. The buffet breakfast was average.
5.0
Maurizio at the front desk was a major asset. He helped us in every possible situation including parking (potential nightmare without him), reservations(impossible to eat at good restaurant) and an upgrade. His English is excellent. His kindness made the hotel (great location) a place that we’d return to and highly recommend for Expedia clients.
2.5
Great place in great location. Mauricio was super helpful.

Love the location. We were put on the first floor in a tiny room with no view.

Excellent stay!

This is a attractive 4 star hotel ideally located in historic Orvieto. Elegant lobby and rooms. Good breakfast incuded with fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, yogurt and fresh tomatoes. Staff not too friendly, but competant. No amenities except a third floor terrace for sitting. Shower was too small, but bathroom was elegant. Good TV. Price seemed fair
2.0
Small but comfortable room, helpful staff. Good value for money overall.

Ideally located to walk into the old part of the town. All facilities were good and helpful staff.

Amazing hotel in the center of the old city. Loved it! great terraces!
2.5
Balcony rooms enjoy a wonderful view (we were on top floor) and hotel provides ample exterior seating to enjoy the night sky and old city, drinking wine, as we did every night.
Pro tip: breakfast buffet is not self serve. You point/ask and they will hand food to you or bring it to the table…drinks also. That being said, the breakfast offering was robust and good.
Parking at nearby Palazzo Poppolo is not available if you stay over to Saturday, as most of us do, or even over Wednesday. The Saturday and Wednesday markets use this square. We parked at Palazzo Republicco, right inside city entrance (first real left..P sign). Fee was /-12€ per day. Very safe parking (plus convenient stocked toilet in that garage..plus!). Walk to hotel is /-5 minutes. Remember to look on right for cross street on corner of buildings and UP for English version of hotel name, hanging from tall arm over street. That’s a real pro tip there, because hotel won’t mention that and street level sign is in Italian. We joined many other English patrons wandering around past Italian hotel sign…live & learn!
Very walkable city…not a lot of steep hills!

Staff was fantastic, room was clean. We were very happy with everything. Highly recommend.

Nice decent hotel in the center of Orvieto. Nothing to complain. Very close gated parking provided for 15 € per night. Very nice and helpful staff.

The hotel staff was extremely kind and helpful.

Staff was super friendly and helpful! Breakfast spread included the traditional Italian and some American like scrambled eggs and bacon. They also had someone making espresso and coffee to your liking. Beds are firm. Shower stall was a little tight, but I am from the USA so I’m used to things a little bigger. Location is great walking distance (less than 5 min) to core sights, although the whole town is about 15 walking in any direction from the hotel.
2.0
Great location in town, with the added bonus of parking at a reasonable price (in comparison with many other town-centre hotels in Italy). Very helpful staff at the check-in. Good sized room, although sound-proofing between us and the room above was poor. Good buffet breakfast although we did have to push for some items to be replenished despite arriving 30 mins before it was due to end.

A beautiful hotel! We enjoyed our stay very much. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Staff was very polite and helpful.

Very good location, large room and modern bathroom, nice and helpful staff.
Just don’t don’t drive over there and not with a regular size car.

This is an intimate hotel in a great location. Has a small bar area and a lovely terrace. Friendly, helpful staff.

Great location in Orvieto. Close to the restaurants and shops. We had to park quite a long ways away, but that goes with the territory when staying in town.
2.0
The lobby was very welcoming, breakfast was good as continental. The room was slightly disappointing with what the lobby suggested as a 4 star hotel. May be with a price of 80 Europe I get the most simple one. Hotel with air on all the time. Front desk was extremely helpful and let me late check out at 1pm. Location is unbeatable as the heart just a lane of 30 steps away. I will come back book a better room next time...thanks

A nice hotel in a great area. Had a cool wrap around balcony. Was a good hotel and I’d highly recommend it.

The hotel was more than we could have imagined. Spacious rooms, great service, and the breakfast buffet alone was worth the cost of the room! Centrally located near the Duomo and the Catacombs. I highly recommend it.
