Nice location but the hotel is in to poor condition

Very comfortable and well located within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Highly recommended.

The hotel was great staff and service was top notch. The only thing that was not well equipped was the fitness/gym area. Would be good to expand it a little bit and add more equipment for people travelling. Or have a deal with local club for passes while people stay there.

Nice stuff and excellent breakfast

We liked the coffee, it was good, and so was the included breakfast. We would have liked the pool if the weather had been good. The shower was good. The bed was comfortable. The towels were a little on the older side. The room was clean and maintained. One of the toilet bolts was loose. In summary we enjoyed the hotel and we would return.

Small hotel with plenty of amenities. Rooftop pool with great views. Plenty of dining in walking distance. Morning breakfast was very good. Plenty of options.

Great stay in a room overlooking Plaza Italia in Mendoza. Roomy bathroom. Excellent full breakfast including all kinds of fresh fruit. Front desk staff went above and beyond to help us with an issue changing a flight. Highly recommend.

Excellent hotel that is centrally located. Amazing staff and super spacious rooms.

The front desk staff is wonderful! This was my 2nd visit in 30 days and I will recommend to friends coming from the United States.

This is a 2.5 star hotel at best masquerading as a 4 or 5 star. The best thing about this hotel is the staff. They’re welcoming, helpful and super courteous. The best area of the hotel is the lobby. Looks great from the outside/inside. We were told our room was “deluxe”. It was large. That was about it. Otherwise it was run down. The window facing the front of the hotel did not close properly and let exterior noise and smells in. The TV was a 32” at best, way too small for such a large room. The wiring on the bedside lamps seemed to be loose and the lights kept flickering on/off. The shower head was broken with water spraying out in different directions. The bowl with the very modest amenities was glued to the vanity top. The soap dispensers were plastic bottles that were glued to mirror and shower tiles. The safe did not work. The room reservation came with breakfast included. On our first night we decided to stop into the restaurant to get a light snack since dinners in Mendoza are pretty late. There was no one else there. I ordered a soup and my husband ordered some empanadas. Both were awful. The absolute most tasteless and poorly made food. So much so that even though we had breakfasts included we chose not to eat there. We ate out at nearby restaurants everyday. I would personally not stay here again. I immediately regretted not making reservations at the Park Hyatt.

Had a lovely Suite overlooking Plaza Italia.
Due to stay 5 nights but heard rumours that Chile was about to close the border with Argentina because of coronavirus (our return flight to UK was from Chile).
So hot foot back to Chile after 2 nights. Sure enough theborder was closed

Staff people not very friendly. They did not spent time to explain the details about property

Clean, large room with equally large bed. Ideally located and good value for money with very helpful staff but breakfast could of been a lot better - coffee was undrinkable so had to go to a neighbouring cafe for morning coffee fix.

I really loved the service from the staff. All were friendly and they allowed us to check in early. We had a very spacious room for a very good price. The only downfall is I believe the melon at breakfast on my last day gave me food poisoning.

Wonderful stay just a 2 corner of Aristides street....

We had a little hiccup with our reservation, but that was more on the end of Hotels.com/Expedia than the hotel itself. The folks at the Amerian were great about working to sort out a fix and when we arrived, our reservation was fine.
The staff was friendly, the service great. Super location too!

They can improve the cleanliness of the bathrooms; greater offer of fruits at breakfast and room service.

Lovely hotel in great position on Plaza Italia! Room was huge and well presented, bed and pillows really comfortable. Bathroom probably due a revamp but adequate. Enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was better than many

The front desk staff was great. They were helpful and attentive. The housecleaning staff was not as good. It must have been that different people cleaned our room. Sometimes, we received great attention to detail, such as leaving enough toilet paper in the room. Other times, it was not. I purchased my own paper to have, just in case and I was glad that I did because I had to use it two days. I left notes on two days for an extra roll of paper to be left (they only supply one roll) and on only one of the two days was my request acknowledged. The actual room (deluxe room with a king size bed) was spacious and comfortable. There was some chipping of paint in the bathroom but the rest of the room was very clean and in very good condition. The refrigerator was not very cold. There is no ice available at the hotel, nor ice buckets should you choose to buy ice as I did. There was not much variety in the breakfast food but what they had was good. The WiFi was very good.

Pro- great location, suite was large, view spectacular. Front desk people were very nice.
Con- advertises has a restaurant. It doesnt. Says has a bar..it doesn't. Went 3 days with no ability to get ice.
Our suite had a large lvg rm but only tv was a small one in bedroom without any english channel like cnn..not sure why have a lvg rm and lay in bed to watch tv..but maybe its me.
Overall if you dont care about restaurant ir bar..its a good place

The location was excellent but it could use a little up dating.

Need to be updated for the price they charge, all the doors rotten at the bottom, tiles look dirty

The hotel is very dated and not comparable to any four stats i've stayed in. The location is good and the rooms are very spacious but the lack of attention to detail on cleaning and linen (towels extremely old, worn and hard to the touch) lets it down, the breakfast is also sub standard.
This hotel could be fantastic but I sense it's trading on a bygone era for it's 4 stars.

Loved this hotel. It was my husbands and my first time in Mendoza, and our concierge was gracious to show us what to do and not do around town, including the best restaurant and sightseeing recommendations! And the hotel itself was a very comfortable and spacious place to come back to at the end of the day. Location also is perfect. Highly recommend!

Great location and comfortable stay

My room was giant and comfortable. The hotel staff were very helpful with any questions I had. The hotel does not have a restaurant at night in case you are tired from a day tour send wanted to eat at the hotel. The hotel staff is very helpful suggesting places near by. The Ceibo restaurant a block away is amazing!

Lovely location, large room, very helpful staff, nice pool.

Across from a park and close to all shops and Plaza this was a great central hotel.
Nice large room, plenty of space, clean and tidy.
Comfortable bed.

Nice hotel with great location in downtown Mendoza. Walking distance to great parillas, etc.
2.0
We booked a suite and we got a regular room. When we tried to change rooms to get what we actually booked and prepaid for, the staff seemed like they were being very inconvenienced. We got to our room and noticed the walls had substantial markings and looked like they weren't cleaned in a long time. Then, we noticed the drapes that were once white were now grey. Much more disappointing were the towels that were supposed to be white but instead were a light dull grey. The mattress was very hard (I like firm mattresses, but this was much beyond). The pillows may have been even harder than the mattress. The washroom smelled like sewage half of the time. This hotel is in need of some care. Aside from the first day and the issue with the room, the staff for the most part were pleasant and helpful.
