We had a great stay while there in the Keys. Room was clean, front desk attendant was very nice in helping us get extra pillows for my husband. The only thing that could be bothersome to some would be the roosters that crow starting about 4 am. We are used to it because we have chickens, but some people may not be aware that there are chickens roaming the premises. They don't mess with you by any means, they just like to start at 4am letting you know its time to get up. LOL!

We enjoyed the stay at Kingsail. Everyone was so friendly it was a quiet comfortable space. Loved the porches to relax on. Even other guests were great! Walking distance to a coupke of food places was nice. The room was clean and big which was nice for our dogs as well

Nice stay. Very simple accommodations. Close to everything, but then again, it's Marathon Key. Two complaints, the pull-out sofabed was VERY uncomfortable, as most of them are and the pool was overly chlorinated, which made it uncomfortable for the kids to swim in.

This place was a gem. So clean and convenient. The staff was awesome. Our only beef was not with the motel but other guests being rude, taking over common areas with their music, cigars and dogs.

Wasnt for us. Room was really dated and we didnt like the general feel of the place. The dock was the nicest part. The noise for the adjoining rooms was too much and we found alternative accommodation and left before staying the night

Reading all the bad ratings and reviews about this accomodation we were prepared for the worst. But what we expected was a total and pleasant surprise. Room was spacious, clean, had a microwave, lamp with USB charger, pool is big. Complimentary coffee in the morning above the coffee in the room. The best thing was the silent air conditioning unit in the room, not those bulky loud as an airboat american AC. So those bad ratings about that you can hear the noise from the road and the cockcrow that is because there was silence in the room. Traffic noise was not disturbing at all and could only hear it during the night if you are up, not tired and listening, but it is not going to wake you up, neither the cockcrow. Only negative was that the wifi in the west wing was very weak and spotty.

We liked the fact that the property has its own boat ramp and available docks for rent. What we didnt like, although staff tries hard to be receptive to guests, the property is in desperate need of repairs. Our air conditioner broke down completely, they had to buy a portable unit for our living room, and install another they had in our bedroom barely kept up and noisy but at least we had some relief. The docks are falling completely apart, one was totally unusable, our tv didnt work, never came on. Alot of chickens and roosters loose running around, and wake you up. Walls in bathrooms are very thin, you can hear "everything" in neighboring room! All kinds of silly rules, yet when you bring these things up, that are wrong with the place, seems like rules dont apply to them, just you! ALL ice machines were broken, no ice at all, on site...again not trying to say staff didnt try, they tried their best, but the ownership is to blame, everything is in need of serious repair.

We live the old school motel feel, makes you feel like Old Florida. The use of the kayaks is awesome! We would like to see the room numbers painted closer to the street instead of the curb as parking in your “designated” spot is difficult. We have always been able to get late checkout so that is helpful as well. We come here every year during mini lobster season or a trip to the keys! So many managers too!!!

Not good, no hot water or good water pressure. Bed linen had stains. People came and banged on our door at 11:15 pm sat night saying we toke thier parking spot! We told them that someone was in ours there was no where to park. We will not be going back….

Good stay with a nice pool. Beautiful area behind the resort where you have access to a nice and quiet part of the ocean. And you can rent kanals for free. Its a good 10-15 min walk to a supermarket, but there are resturants all along the highway.

For the price it was okay. Wasn’t great but wasn’t terrible. What was bad was the main door handle for the room was very loose and would have been very easy to get in with out a key. We only stayed there one night.

If you stay with a view to the marina be prepared to see boats come in and out and fishing ppl.. At times with loud ppl. The outside patios are close to the neighbors and it can get really hot no fans outside just bug nets. I only stayed two nights so I didn't mind the outside noises or boats.

The property was average, not at all like the pictures. The rooms had a distinct smell and the staff tried their best to maintain them clean, but they are in dire need of a upgrade. The pool was quiet but also needs an upgrade around the deck area and it had a lot of chlorine. The ice machines were not working and the guests that frequent this place (at least during my stay) were pretty loud until late hours of the night. Overall a cheap place to spend a night, but I would not stay here again, especially if you travel with kids, I would not recommend this place.

Very rude worker in the office when we wanted to use the kayaks. No ice in either ice maker machine. Part of the dock had caution tape around it as it was caved. The worst was the lady in the office.

Staff very friendly. Quick and wasy check-in and check-out. Coffee station in tge morning by the water is neat. Perfect for a family with a boat who lives to fish. Very clean.
