Room was fine, bed seemed clean which is my main concern. Pillows were these lumpy, small square pillows not normal size bed pillows. Door to bathroom appears to be plastic. Tissue stuck to peep hole on room side of door from some earlier guest - guess housekeeping never saw it? The accent pillow on the bed was dirty - some kind of white stain. I first thought baby spit up but who knows. Wouldn’t stay here again. I’d rather pay a bit more for a more upscale property.

The hotel is run down, room was dirty

I usually always love my stay here! But this time I was upset because someone came in my room and took my baby diapers when we wasn’t there I do not appreciate that.! But everything else was fine just like always

This hotel is only good maybe for one night. I went to go check in and the lady behind the counter was sitting there eating cereal ( did nto even put it down to talk to me), after doing all the paperwork we went up to our rooms on the 2nd floor. We walk into the room and it smells like mildew and it looks like it needs a good old makeover. The worst part was the shower. Evertime you took a shower all the water went onto the floor ( no matter how many towels you used it would not clean it up) The toilet was directly next to the sink so my hubby ( 6'4 320lbs could not fit on the toilet lol. Who ever painted these rooms did a bad job and you can tell. The location is good if you are attending a UA game and the lobby area is pretty clean. they do not have room service so if you need more towels ( which you will because of showers) you have to ask.
My son is a HVAC person and my daughter could not breath so he checked the vents and I almost got sick they were so dirty. I did bring it to the attention of the staff they said " they do not know the last time it was cleaned'

Everything was good, however i haf a problem with the wifi and my main reason for staying was to do a video meeting which went very badly also the tub did not drain that well during showers.

New administration, need glasses in the room nothing to drink in

Hotel was under renovation so considering that the stay was fine

The only reasons I can’t give 5 stars are the lack of a fridge, the lack of a bathroom counter, and paper-thin walls. Also, streaming wasn’t possible, despite the apps on the TV, and there were no premium channels.

We were in town for college visit on football weekend so hotels were very limited. I had stayed here before but it was LONG ago. Needless to say this hotel is definitely showing its age. Shower curtain wasn't long enough and completely soaked the bathroom floor each time someone showered. Room was just ok...nothing great and showed wear and tear. Breakfast left a lot to be desired but I thought it was nice to have snacks and drinks in the lobby each day.

We were passing through needed place to stay, It was a nice place. Happy we picked there to rest overnight

It was quiet and comfortable. There were very few people there so it was quiet. We enjoyed the peace.

Check-in was easy and they communicated with me prior to check-in.
I love that they had snacks and drinks (water and coke...not adult beverages) during check-in.
It seemed that I could hear ever little noise in the hall, but not much they can do about that I guess.
Everything inside seemed to be clean with no issues.
It is convenient to many restaurants and the University of Alabama.
Most importantly, I did not notice any safety concerns.
Bottom line....I would stay again.

The fella at the desk was the same as from my stay a year ago, very nice and helpful.

Awesome! Harrison at the front desk was very helpful. The breakfast was delicious. Clean and tidy!

The customer service and check was great. But my sink wouldn't drain the water out and my shower wasn't clean. I requested room service to fix the sink and shower. The sink was fixed but the shower waa not cleaned nor addressed.

This hotel was disgusting! The front desk staff was friendly, but the hotel was gross. The sofa in our room was so filthy that we refused to sit on it. The towels were soiled, the bed linen were partially torn on torn. The only good things I can say is that the AC was cold, and the shower was hot. Other than that I do not recommend. Someone regurgitated in the hall near the elevator on Saturday night. I could not believe that it was still there Monday when we checked out. They only placed two wet floor signs over it. I’m still in shock that no one cleaned it up. The only reason that we did not leave was because there was a game and every where else was basically booked.

Minimal price so a few problems- sheets were stained, no coffee pot in room. Staff helpful but not proactive. Decent for price.

Night time guy was very rude and had to wait 30 min to check in. I even had to call the facility to get someone out. The reason i did not give it a 1 start was the ladies up front in the morning were alsome and very nice. Overall the place is not bad for the price. It was clean but not a 5 star clean. The niggt we staied was quiet. Area is close to many restaurants and shopping outlit. Only reason i gave a 3 was the guy at night and small rooms.

Nice stay before the football game. Hotel is a little run-down but the room was clean and the staff were attentive. No complaints.

Staff was very friendly. Bathroom was not clean. There was hair in the tub and sink, tub looked like it wasn’t cleaned and there was a dirty towel left hanging on the bathroom door.

Dirty and not enough parking

Property needs a facelift. Checkin is suppose to be 3:00, couldn’t not checkin until 5:30, due to room wasn’t ready. Made it very rushed, had reservations for 6:15
The man at the front desk was working very hard to accommodate. He was very nice and apologetic.

Fidnt like that people were parking in the handicap spots without handicap plates/placards. Some of whom I assume were employees during the day.

This property was undergoing construction. Was not greeted by my status, the room wall thermostat did not work, hair in the shower, lotion instead of body wash in the shower, only 2 towels, no garbage can in the bathroom, and no ice bucket or ice machine on the floor. The bed was comfortable and we slept well.

Difficult to review as the hotel is undergoing renovations. Our room was lovely and had a view of Denny stadium! Staff was friendly and helpful but the lobby including breakfast area, elevator and hallways are all still in process.
For the cost, comfort of the room, cleanliness and ease of the place in proximity to UA, I would stay again.

We had a three night stay and while I understand they do not clean rooms but once every three days, we never saw any housekeeping to be able to ask for towels or toilet paper. The bathtub was dirty and there was mold on the ceiling. The only time we saw someone at the front desk was when we checked in. If I had to do it over again, I would’ve booked a different hotel

Under renovation

There was construction occurring so we did understand the challenge with that. We did experience some temperature issues in our room, even with the air conditioning running continuously.
Also, we were surprised to discover that we did not have a trash can in the room, which would have been a standard amenity to have available.
Additionally, we were charged an extra fee of $8 for housekeeping services, and we were also informed that we would need to request additional towels daily if needed.

Unfortunately the first room they gave us had not been made up so had to go back downstairs to get assigned another room. 2nd room was clean.

The overall stay was great; however, my first room was on the first floor and I discovered a bug(tick) on the bed. I notified the staff immediately and my room was change. The staff apologize and gave me another room. From that point, my stay was great.

It was nice and clean and I liked the shower and beds

The Servive was exemplary!

The entire hotel was dirty. The rooms were filthy, carpet was nasty, restrooms needs updates. There was dog hair all over the couch. Electrical outlets didn’t work. Worst over night stay I’ve ever experienced
