Room was amazing. A fewcdefects here and there but no more than most in the city. It just chsnged management from when i booked until i checked in.
But the staff was wonderfully accomodating and apologetic.
Even after i checked out. I had returned to claim my bags and had left a jacket in my room. The manager checked personally.
Really great.
Was a little disappointed about no breakfast when it was part of my stay package. But there are plenty of close by places to eat.
View from my room.was spectacular. Definitely would book a suite again.

Great location but Hotel was alright. Nothing to brag about. Definelty could use an update. Rooms were okay and could be cleaner. Carpet had stains and just felt dirty to walk on. For the type of hotel it is, one would think simple items like toothpaste and room slippers would be included. If I was to return to New York I would probably stay at a different hotel.

The rooms a large and quirky, but very comfortable. The aircon is very good and works fast warming or cooling. The sky bar and restaurant were closed, awaiting a new company to take over these facilities but there are great local facilities that reception recommended.

Fabulous

I like the style of the hotel and location to Javits for my conference. It used to be better maintained. We had plumbing problems, no AC when I first got there, but they fixed that later that day, and no water for around 5 hours one day.

Amazing room, sadly not the best view.
Very clean and spacious!
Staff well organized sadly the hotel was on the edge of being sold and thus no food service!

Room was spacious with a comfortable and large shower. Good views out of the window. Check in was efficient.
Two major issues: a work colleague was late arriving (after midnight) and the hotel sold his pre-paid room!!!!! That is a No No!
Second, there was a water outage overnight one evening and the water through all the facets and shower were brown for 15 minutes!!!! Not good.

Stylish, great location, chic rooms, spotless. We’ve stayed at Ink48 several times and will definitely be back. It’s very well managed and all of the staff are very professional, very friendly, and go that little bit further to make sure their guests are well-looked after. A really excellent hotel.

The hotel itself was beautiful - modern rooms and conveniently located. The only reason that it isn’t 5 star was that food options were limited and valet service takes an hour to retrieve your car. Guests were opting to go get their own cars. At $80 a day this was ridiculous.

Convenient location to everything we wanted to attend and some wonderful restaurants.

Ink 48 was amazing. The views from the hotel is 10/10. Highly recommend this hotel!

Very disappointed. We chose the option to "Pay at property" and when we showed up, they told us that they tried to charge our card before we arrived and it was declined (expired card). Instead of contacting us to get a new card, they just cancelled the reservation, never told Hotels.com, and gave away our room! I have no idea why they were trying to charge the card before we checked in, and how they could just give away the room completely. They were fully booked so we had to scramble to find somewhere last minute.

The room was cramped for 4 but we knew that would be likely given that we squished into one room. It was only for one night before we left for a cruise (right around the corner!). Their lost and found was not helpful for us unfortunately. Our fault- obviously- but still a bummer

**Review of The Ink Hotel: 5/5**
I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Ink Hotel, and I can confidently say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish! The location is simply unbeatable—nestled in the heart of the city, I was just steps away from some of NYC's best attractions.
Checking in and out was a breeze, making my travel experience all the more enjoyable. The staff truly made my stay memorable; they were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. Their hospitality added a personal touch that made me feel right at home.
I can’t wait to return to The Ink Hotel for my future NYC trips! Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fabulous place to stay.

Clean, comfortable and convenient. Staff was helpful and friendly. Does not feel like a 4-star; very dated; limited services (eg, no free coffee either in room or lobby); HVAC system was feast or famine, either freezing or melting. It was a good bargain for my stay of 2 nights but not quite the same vibe as its earlier Kimpton days.

Terrible stay. Initially when we got to our room the toilet did not work and we needed to fil the back of the toilet every time we went to the washroom. After a long travel day it wasn’t the end of the world for us and we didn’t say anything about it. However, we paid a huge amount to have a room with the bath tub in the middle of the room for our honeymoon. When we attempted to take a bath on two occasions, the water came out of the tap yellow/brown colour, despite running it for 20-30mins like the front desk suggested. Of coarse we had to go to down to the front desk as our room phone did not work. The front desk worker was kind and apologetic and said we would get a 15% refund, but we’ve yet to hear from them over a week later. The room was also not as clean as you would expect an almost $700/night room. The locking latch was also not attached properly and therefore did nothing. Will definitely not stay here again and will highly discourage anyone from staying here.

the windows are not very sound proof and ther seems to be a lot of bars/partying going on along the street. I recomend ear plugs.

Nothing special

The night clerk was a jerk. Otherwise, all staff was great. The hotel is very lucky to have Musah, he was the absolute highlight of our stay. He is the best doorman In the business! The hotel was nice and within 2 short blocks from the cruise terminal.

There was no restaurant or rooftop lounge as advertised. There was a small tavern down a block where we had dinner after a really long flight.

Our room wasn't ready for day we arrived, we have to stay in totaly different rooms with poorest conditions.
After we've moved to our room, we had running toilet for whole night and cloged drain in the shower ! On day 3 they have found engineer?! to fix the toilet, but noone cleaned the drain to the last day ! Terrible experience !

Nice clean welcoming place. Beds were comfortable. Some late night noise from club across street.

Hotel was solid. 15 power walk from the subway, not sure if that’s a problem for some people.

Great stay. .7 miles from Times Square.
4.0
Good neighbourhood but a little far from subway lines, only public transit is via bus. Check in was ok, was placed on the 6th floor, window had basically no view … just some alleyway. Our room had a TV mount … with NO TV on it.

Aircon broken. Rudest staff imaginable. Had to find another hotel at midnight due to lack of consideration

Having stayed here before with friends booked next week..I am beyond upset. Was looking forward to walking once again to my cruise ship. After being bumped to anther property, even though booked months ago, was moved 1.5 miles away, causing for $50 in taxi fees, and being lied to by management, making my concerns known on Facebook and to Expedia. Never coming back and letting cruiselines know as well.

The property was near and clean but the facilities are expensive. At least coffee and cookies can be provided to the customers.

Ink 48 is a very nice and clean hotel. The staff was excellent, the room was truly unique and very close to the pier. (We were going on a cruise.) The area around the hotel was dirty but you're staying in the Hells Kitchen area so thats to be expected. I was disappointed that the Press Club was a rental space and the restaurant was closed. Plenty of restaurants nearby.
