This hotel was great for a short stay, we had a little balcony area and the breakfast was good for a quick bite. The price was very good and the staff were super friendly. I liked that the car park was secure and had a locked gate.

Cleanness of the bedding was very good. Bathroom and toilet very clean. No issues or problems throughout my stay.

The hotel is actually closed, no one on site, no security, no bar or communal areas and no breakfast.
We were unable to stay after making full payment. No refund.

A pleasant stay before flying from Luton the next day. Our room was fine but the hairdryer didn't work properly which I wanted to use. The hotel was clean but lacked certain facilities. There was no bar or restaurant unfortunately. The staff were nice and helpful but we did have to wait over 20 minutes before being let into the premises because they were dealing with a problem.
Overall a convenient location for one night before a flight.

I liked the room , it reminded me of hotels I’ve stayed in in Holland.
It is under re development at the moment.

They have recently acquired the property
There is no bar facilities,There are no eating facilities
Breakfast is a poor continental breakfast placed on the first floor that has to be taken back to your room to eat
The shower was a good addition to the room
Sadly there is a lot of street/ road noise all night and from early morning

The hotel is clean and tidy but very tired and didn’t have a bar or restaurant as was advertised. The staff were very attentive and the room clean, just tired. The reception staff told me there is a refurb planned and I can see from facilities it was once a very good hotel.

Definitely a place to stay if wanting to stay in Luton.

Booked for bbc 1 big weekend, walkable to stockwood park through town. Staff were helpful and polite. Quirky hotel great for the night

Looked ok on the pics and the ratings were decent, however it felt unsafe in a poor neighborhood. Had to drive to get a Nando’s as it wasn’t safe to walk into town. Luton has to be the worst place to live and stay in the UK

It’s closing very soon so motivated staff trying their best looked tired and stressed. Shame it’s closing as it’s an ok 3 star the area Luton has just gone downhill no fault if the hotel, but the hotel looked tired and done areas not cleaned regularly.

I was hoping for a quaint and picturesque place to stay my first night in England. The Leaside fit the bill! My room was spacious, clean, quiet, and comfortable. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. The gin dispensary on the first floor was fun (great cocktails), and I dined in delicious tapas in the on site restaurant. I would stay here again and highly recommend it for travelers.

This place is a mixed bag. Our room was actually pretty good with an updated bathroom. The hallways however were dingy and in need of some attention.
The restaurant there was surprisingly good- decor was eclectic and fun. Staff was great.

The girl on reception when we arrived was wonderful. A friendly greeting, let us check in early and was helpful throughout our stay. A credit to the hotel.
Room was nice, the bed was extremely comfortable, and we had a balcony!
The hotel is quickly, and simply unique. Food lovely and situated ideally for the town or for football.
Highly recommend!

The staff were very friendly and thoughtful. They thought ahead and ordered an early morning taxi for us.
We had dinner in their dining room; it was excellent.

I’ve stayed in many hotels across the world, and the service and staff at the Leaside Hotel may just be the best I’ve ever experienced. And not just 1 or 2 hotel representatives, they are all collectively fabulous. Sam at the front desk made me feel cared for, special and valued, which was mirrored by every staff member I encountered during my stay. And the great service was accompanied by smiles and a wonderful sense of humor.
The rooms have physical keys, which due to the overall condition, cleanliness and experience resulted in a nostalgic feel rather than a dated element. My room was a spacious suite, with a large updated bathroom, and it was a comfortable environment.
Thanks to the amazing staff - who made this review a must write.

Second stay at The Leaside in two weeks. So lovely. Booked last minute due to business trip, arrived 9.30pm and was upgraded to the beautiful Coach House Suite. Quiet, safe, clean, comfortable. I will be back soon! Thankyou

We received a very friendly welcome. Our room was recently renovated, quirky and fresh, although being in the roof space, there were no views from the Velux windows. The bed was comfy and we slept well.
The bathroom was great, but there were no hooks to hang towels or clothes, but that would be easily remedied.
We were warned that there was an event taking place, but we didn't hear music in our room. However people were chatting loudly in an adjoining room until the early hours, though not rowdy.
The breakfast was excellent and very relaxed.

When booking check for any events at the hotel. Our room felt like it was ontop of the speaker from the disco which had loud music playing until 00.15. We were only advised about the event at check in. The room was nice, clean and had everything we needed.
The female staff were excellent, they were warm and welcoming. The male member of staff we met at checkout only managed to use one word as we gave him the keys, a total contrast.

The Leaside Hotel is a gem! It's beautifully decorated, completely unique, and very comfortable. The food is excellent - we had dinner and drinks, then breakfast the next morning (the beef hash - mmm!). We enjoyed chatting a bit with several employees and the owner to hear more about the hotel and the area. If you need a place in Luton, THIS is where you should go. Unless you really love staying in a hotel chain that's the same everywhere. The Leaside Hotel is charming, interesting, and all-around wonderful.

Great location. Excellent restaurant and bar.
I was hesitant when I arrived at the reception as it’s not renovated and I was afraid rooms would be old and outdated; but it was just the opposite: nice, comfortable well appointed rooms.

It’s was a very nice well presented hotel. Cheaper than the travel lodge the night before. Friendly staff. And a bit quirky.
Nice bar area and outside seating.
