Room was great. Took some time for the water to heat up in the shower. Bummed out by the fact there was still no jacuzzi or pool.

Well, we arrived after midnight and was hoping to check into a room so we can rest but was told they were updating the system and can’t check us in. Can’t give us a time frame either so kept us waiting in the lobby for about an hour in that time of the night and we were ready to leave and go to another hotel that’s when the clerk said he will let us go to the room and complete the check in process in the morning. The hotel is under major renovation both inside and outside so it’s a big mess. We got to our room but have only one set of towels and no hangers in the closet. We had to go down to the lobby to get them because the phone in the room doesn’t work. We felt the place was not well managed and we don’t think we will return.

Im very upset with hotels.com. I book thru this site not only for the price but for the security and reassurance that these hotels are being inspected for the recomendations to your customers. This hotel is being renivated on all sides. I immediately felt dust mites because im allergic and start itching and breaking out with red bumps. The elevator didnt work, we had to go to the front desk 3 times to rekey the room card because it wouldnt let us in. We asked for towels 2 times before givig up and using our WET ones. YOUR PREVIEW ON HOTEL.COM said it had frige microwave, and breakfast in the morning...well NO breakfsst, NO microwave. I was so embarassed i coudnt cancel the room when we seen the condition..i want a refund.

My was riddled with problems THE HOTEL IS UNDER CONSTUCTION SO THEY HAVE zero amenities nothing they say it’s going to become a courtyard in Marriott. All I can say is there’s no way in world Marriott would ever want this hotel staff, especially the manager. The manager is rude money grabbing tyrant. Not only does she buckle and dime you for everything but she actually had the nerve to tell me “no one asked you to come stay here” the staff is rude and unprofessional. Marriot please do not go into business with these greedy unmannered rude people they accused me of ruining a comforter. Not true and then as I am leaving she bans me from coming back to it knowing that I was staying there because of work

This was by far my worst hotel experience ever. They didn’t provide even a fresh towel per guest (2 guests). They took forever to check me in. The staff charged me for bed linen and three towels for very normal use and small markings that are easily washed out. Not any permanent stains or marks. I’m a very polite and clean guest at hotels. The women at the desk had my wait 30 mins so she could inspect the room while I was there or she wouldn’t give me my $200 deposit back and comes back rude and snappy and only hands me $130 with no explaining or questions. I ask why and she rudely responded bc I’m being charged for three towels and a pillow case and a sheet.
If at best one towel had bronzer that spilled on it and is easy to wash out. The linen had a couple marks from my scarf on my hair, also washable bc I’ve had it happen at my house and they wash right out.
I should have recorded the rooms condition when I left. Something told me they’d scam me. Every guest I encountered was very unhappy there. Even some people cancelled as I waited for my room.
There was little to no parking bc of all the renovation and construction. The hotel was NOT anywhere near the condition advertised. The room was decent but the other spaces (hallway, elevator, lobby, lounge all tore up and dirty it taped and closed off. No breakfast as advertised. The lady was the worst hotel employee I’ve encountered in my 25 years of travel. I’ll never stay here again.

Always happy with my stay. It’s currently being renovated, but that doesn’t bother me. The new rooms are very nice, the staff is super friendly, and the service is great!

this property is under renovation. It looks like a homeless facility and nothing works. I was actually so concerned that i just left the property and stayed at another facility down the road.

We have stayed at Hotel Chino Hills before. However, when we drove up to the hotel this time, it was under construction. Bad visual! Very disappointing! However, the room we stayed in was completely remolded and modernized. So that was a very good thing. And the price was decent. Owners should be more transperent about the current condition of the hotel.

Very bad asked to sign a contract waiving my rights should there be any problems I don’t think that it is actually a legal requirement so they shouldn’t be asked these things

It wasn’t clear from advertisement that most services were unavailable due to renovations. We didn’t realize this until we arrived… at that time it was too late to cancel and secure alternate accommodation. Also we had ants in the room. had power outage and emergency lighting in stair case was inoperative.
Our family was arriving the next day from China to move to USA. With 2 young children and no no pool or. other amenities … If somebody actually reads this I would like to apply for a refund. We feel we were dipped into this situation. the only indication that that major reconstruction was a thin line through the the sunavailable services although beautifuly photographed amenities. I feel we were scammed!

The stay was standard. The check in was a little odd, as they want to charge you for random things, like saying if a towel is too "soiled" -which doesnt make sense, as towels are designed to get wet. That should have been my red flag. It was a one night stay, nothing extended. I just happened to check my card transactions days later, and i see i was charged $35. I emailed them via hotels.com-no response. I called multiple times, but each time it sounded like the call was picked up. There was no one on the other end each time, so i went back to the hotel myself. When asked, i was told i was charged for a face towel, hand towel and sheet!! APPARENTLY, they were "damaged beyond repair". I did not understand how that could be the case, when again, we werent even there 24 hrs. Towels were used for body and face (as they are designed to) and sheets were slept on (as they are designed to). Nothing was burned, ripped, had holes in it etc. I am currently pending evidence of what they are saying, as (of course) the person that could help was not available. I was never emailed, contacted, or even given any notice i was being charged. I believe these chrages are racially motivated and also bc they are doing renovations, so they need more money. The towels and sheet are not even quality. I do not recommend anyone staying there.

Out key didn't work and we had to go down and get a new key after reaching our room. The room wasn't cleaned for the two days we were there. No clean towels on the second day or coffee. We were charged $20.00 because of a spot of blood on one of the towels.

The beds was comfortable. Even though the hotel was under construction it was still pretty quiet. Some of the staff was helpful. Our key cards kept getting deactivated. They never gave us enough towels for 2 people

I booked this hotel for my family on 3 separate occasions within the month of June. The very first time I was not able to sign the agreement due to their printer being down. When the printer began working, they kept calling my room phone and cell phone repeatedly between 10pm and 1140pm. This was so frustrating. Inside the rooms are comfortable and beautiful. Easy parking and convenient location. The construction could be annoying.
