This is a great location just over the bridge into Ortigia. The breakfast view and terrace are wonderful. A hidden gem.

Fiori and her husband were amazing hosts and took excellent care of us when an unexpected repair meant we couldn't have the room we booked. They went out of their way to accommodate us, truly first class service! The place itself is lovely, breakfasts were delicious and the location is perfect - easy to explore all of Ortigia or to walk to the train station. Can't recommend staying here enough!!! Don't look any further, just book it!

The hotel was very nice. You need to get buzzed in the first time. Very nice breakfast buffet with a beautiful water view. Parking was a little challenging but we were lucky to get a spot on the same street.

This small boutique hotel is the perfect place to stay in Ortigia! The owner, Fiora, met us upon our arrival and had gone above and beyond to make our stay and the stay of all of her guests a special experience. Fiora served us wine up on the terrace where the view is amazing. Lovely, lovely, experience.

Beautiful room and very friendly and informative hostess.

Super friendly people; great place for the price. Parking is tough everywhere in Siracusa, so be prepped for that.
Hotel was clean, mattress was super, location is good. I’d happily go back.

I enjoyed my room with the balcony and the lovely view. The room was very nice, however i could have used a picture on the wall. Perhaps, the cleaning of the bathroom could need a helping hand under the zink. The bedroom tables were very very small.
The service from the (owner reception) was great

It was obvious the hotel had recently put in lots of renovations. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, spoke great English, and provided excellent recommendations for dining and activities.

This was a lovely B&B in Ortigia. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good. It was very convenient walking from the train station.

A lovely experience overall. Easy check-in, clean and comfortable room, well-equipped with extras like robes and slippers,a fridge with beverages. Breakfast had lots of variety, including gluten-free options, and was delicious. View from the breakfast room overlooked the water. Nothing to fault here. Would book again in a heartbeat.

This is a wonderful, small B&B on Ortigia in Syracuse. We had a room with an upstairs, private terrace, amazing! Views of the harbor, cruise ships, sunset. Breakfast is also wonderful buffet on a terrace. One of the most surprising hidden gems of our whole European adventure.

Definitely a good deal for the money. Older building but decent. It appears they are trying to make improvements. Staff helpful. Breakfast really a great value! Definitely 3stars, but you can’t beat the price!

This little hotel is something of a gem. Wonderfully located on the waterfront in Ortigia, it offers courteous and helpful service, an excellent breakfast on the terrace, and a fine and comfortable room. The furnishings are not in the first blush of youth, but our overall experience was very positive.

This is a very nice small hotel. While the rooms a small they are comfortable and clean. The breakfast is great and the dining setting is beautiful.

So convenient for both the historic quarter and the archeological zone, it’s situated in a lovely part of town with excellent views.
The room with the balcony is amazing, nice and private also with excellent views. The bathroom was a bit dark ! But perfectly functional. The breakfast was fresh and had lots of choice, the homemade mushroom quiche and bruschetta was delicious. The staff were also extremely helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay again.

The hotel have a ok service, but the internet will not fit. The rom where we were sleeping has no dark curtains, so it was very light when we was going to sleep. In the bathroom it smelled heavy mold, very discusting, and it was not cleand well.

It’s a perfect location, in the old building, with the roof access, and the breakfast is served there, with a view! — but the receptionist’s attitude, the noise of the breakfast preparation at 7am and the hot water in the shower changes unpredictably.
So just be prepared, don’t annoy the receptionist about the elevator (he will express clearly and long enough how wrong and stupid you are) and you’ll be fine.

The location is excellent and breakfasts were appealing. However we had an attic room with a skylight and no windows. My husband found the small shower a challenge. We were able to change to a nicer room for part of our stay.

Location is superb for walking Syracuse and we parked for free for 3 nights. Rooms are clean and spacious, had a safe, fridge and kettle. Breakfast selection was the best we had in Sicily with freshly made cakes and tarts, fruit and savoury. Highly recommend staying here.

Location Excellent; Breakfast excellent; comfort excellent; staff excellent

Positive:
* clean
* attentive staff service
* good complimentary breakfast with long hours
* accommodating for late arrival and even arranged for transportation
* great value
Negative:
* too many keys (one for front door, one for gate, one for room)
* poor placement of power outlets (ironing clothing required reorganizing the whole room)
* cannot unlock room from inside without physical key. if someone wanted to leave and take key with them, the other person was locked inside (FIRE HAZARD?)

A beautiful place, great location that was much quieter than I'd have thought. The service was great, lovely staff, and the breakfast spot is fabulous. We sat out there with a bottle of wine in the evening - our own private terrace with a fantastic view of the water. There's even a shelf with books for the insomniac/holiday reader. Thanks again to the staff.

Easy check in and check out. The person at the desk spoke and understood English fluently which is rare in Sicily with the experience of five cities in Sicily in year 2019. Great breakfast, nice staff, great room. Perfect!

Great location near harbour. And market for fantastic cafes at lunchtime
Staff very helpful
Nice bathroom and very big bed
Able to make freshly squeezed orange and vegetable juice at breakfast.
Liked being in a traditional style building not new build

Very comfortable room, although we were confirmed months prior for a sea view room and told on arrival that they were all taken! Breakfast was good and varied and with a nice view. We were most disappointed by the lack of help on our arrival. We called ahead and were told they would help us park but the young girl at the desk basically told us to go look for parking - which was non-existent. We parked in a very expensive hourly lot until the next day when the much more helpful and knowledgeable Daniele “rescued us.”HE was wonderful.
Were we to return, we would not stay in this loud touristy area, but rather the other, older side of Ortigia.

The property is in a fantastic position and the terrace overlooking the little harbour is a delight.
The staff were great, the whole experience was first rate.

Quite area with fantastic views over the bay, lots of restaurants nearby.

Lovely location near the sea and historic area. The only complaint is there was no air in the room. When I complained, the manager did supply the room with a fan. The room also faced an area that was flooded with pigeons who cooed all night so you have to keep the windows closed.
2.0
The bathroom was smelly due to faulty sewage drain installation; smells made their way into bathroom and room. Really bad. We raised this with the woman at the reception and she never came back to us with an answer. Overall a bad experience. The only noce thing was the breakfast at the terrace but, truth be told, it did not make up for the awful smell at our room. Our room should be closed!
