Lovely rooms, with great atmosphere and next to a great street. Near Wawel Castle, very walkable. There was a slightly odd smell near my room (308) but didnt detract from the experience. Heavily recommend

For the price charged, there should be more variety available for breakfast, particularly Polish specialties. That is my only complaint. Otherwise, the immediate area of the hotel is very quiet, but walk a block and you are in a very busy, very touristic part of town. You have to like that kind of thing. The next time I will stay in the Old Town.

I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience. The hotel is ideally situated in the city center, offering easy access to all the main attractions, yet it maintains a peaceful and quiet atmosphere—perfect for a relaxing stay. Numerous restaurants are just a short walk away, making it convenient to explore the local culinary scene. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist with a smile. Their hospitality truly enhanced my stay. The rooms were impeccably clean and well-maintained, reflecting the hotel’s high standards of service. Overall, Hotel Wawel’s combination of a prime location, serene environment, and outstanding service make it an excellent choice for anyone visiting Krakow. Highly recommended!

I loved my stay at Hotel Wawel. It was super cute and clean. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. There's lots of great shopping and food that is easy to walk to from the hotel. Transportation is all around as well. If I am ever back in Krakow I will definitely be staying here again.

Hotel Wawel was wonderful. The room was clean and tidy, the breakfast rich and nice and the personnel wonderful. It is in the heart of the old town 5 min aways from the basilica and 5 min from Wawel castle. I would definitely stay again in my next visit to the city

My room was well designed and very comfortable. It had an excellent placement of outlets, a comfortable reading chair with good lightening, well-placed mirrors and good air conditioning. There was a good sized bathroom and an excellent shower with good water pressure. No problems with the Wifi connection. On the first floor there was a machine available for making coffee or tea 24 hours a day.

A really lovely little hotel, tucked away in a street minutes walk from the busy main square, but i heard no noise. The check in was quick and easy, staff were excellent. Knowledgeable about the area and helpful. The decor in the hallways was beautiful, lots of murals, and quite a history to the hotel. The room was nicely decorated, and nice shower. Good, comprehensive breakfast.The only criticism i have is the bed. It was extremely soft! So be aware if you prefer a harder mattress. Unfortunately i had to cut my trip short but i intend returning to Krakow and will definitely stay at the Hotel Wawel again. Highly recommended.

Fabulous hotel. Blends perfectly with the age of the surroundings. Friendly staff. Breakfast was good but I had better at the other hotels so probably not the best judge!!! Great location. Just loved this hotel and would definitely return. Booked a trip which was supposed to pick us up at our hotel but because of the narrow street we had to walk a block to get the bus. No big deal.

Spent four nights in at Hotel Wawel which was excellent in every way. Location is a short walk from all of the main attractions in Krakow, the castle, Jewish Quarter, Main Square in Old Town but still blissfully quiet. Tons of restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Only took us a 25min walk to and from the train station to get the airport shuttle. Room was spacious and super clean. Bathrooms were also modern and very clean. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room but a free coffee/tea/hot chocolate machine on the first floor which was even better, delicious coffee. The staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They were attentive and assisted us in booking a couple of day excursions with hotel pick-up. Breakfast was wonderful with pretty much anything you could want, and at convenient times for all (7-10). Would stay here again without any hesitation in the future.

Very nice little hotel in the central part of the old town. We got lucky getting a large room. Clean and a lot of space. Breakfast was good. A popular traditional Polish restaurant in house. Remember to book a table. Walking distance to all central tourist traps.
